Adding MX to Custom DNS
-
Hi,
I have mapped my WordPress.com site to http://www.bakelovenotwar.co.za successfully. Now I need to enter custom DNS to direct my mail.
My domain e-mail is (email visible only to moderators and staff), my mailbox is hosted with MWeb and their servers are pop3.mweb.co.za (for incoming) and smtp.mweb.co.za (for outgoing).
I tried this:
MX 1 pop3.mweb.co.za.
MX 5 smtp.mweb.co.za.But it doesn’t seem to be working. Can anyone tell me what I’m doing wrong. That would be amazing :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

These are the only instructions I can find in support documentation. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/custom-dns/
You can also set up your custom email address using Google Apps. For more information, please visit Setting Up Email with Google Apps page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/

Thank you, they actually gave me the wrong mail server, that was the problem. Once I entered the correct server, it worked.
Thank you for your time!
