Adding mailchimp pop up when no widgets are displayed on any page
-
Hi there,
I was following the instructions on this post: https://wordpress.com/support/mailchimp/
to add a mailchimp pop up to my website.
When clicking via Customize on any of my pages I get the notification that though I have 11 widgets for my site none are shown on that page.
Then I don’t have an option to ‘Add a widget’ or to paste in the code for the pop up.
What’s the work around for this?
The code for the pop up from mailchimp is:
//downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/unique-methods/embed.jswindow.dojoRequire([‘mojo/signup-forms/Loader’], function(L) { L.start({‘baseUrl’:’mc.us16.list-manage.com’,’uuid’:’2fa7e812fc225bf6763d0f1a7′,’lid’:’eec1b62072′,’uniqueMethods’:true}) })Thanks for the help!

Hi,
The site mentioned does not use a managed hosting environment from WordPress.com. Instead, it’s set up on the open-source WordPress.org software which is something different. If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:
As far as I can see from your homepage code, the page uses a template without any widget are defined – it uses a full-width template, and the content is created with Brizy page builder.
For any more questions about your self-hosted WordPress site, please try WordPress.org support:

or contact theme authors.Cheers
