Does anybody know how to add a badge to a blog. I have the embed code but I don’t know where to go in the dashboard.
Thanks so much
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The site linked to your name does not seem to be a WordPress anything, we need a link to the WordPress.COM blog you are asking about to give you accurate help.

What is this badge for please? Is the code a restricted code like JavaScript, or an embed that’s not allowed for security reasons? Please post the code here in this thread between backticks so we can provide an accurate answer to your question.

@carmenferreiroesteban, I just checked the embed code and it seems to just want to render a link. Otherwise, you should be able to click on any Page, Post (click on the HTML tab) or even a text widget and paste it in there.
Beyond that, depending on your theme, you would need to post it into the HTML of the theme itself.
Where would you like this badge to appear?

No that’s not possible on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. Even placing that code in a text widget will result in the software stripping it out to preserve security on this multiuser blogging platform.

WordPress.com vs WordPress.org:The Differences -
@timethief, thank you!
The majority of my experience has been on the .org side of things, so I am quickly learning about what is not possible.

@weschyrchel
Hi there,
I could spot that easily. :)
Do note that some days up to 30% of those who post here ought to be posting to http://wordpress.org/support/ We Volunteers have both free hosted WordPress.com blogs and WordPress.org installs so we know the differences well and we know all the workarounds too. However, we do NOT answer WordPress.org questions instead we politely direct the lost WordPress.org bloggers to the correct support forum so we do not cause confusion.
