A few suggestions about the upcoming 2.7 upgrade here

Thank you for the answer concerning the threaded comments. I will wait (im)patiently for them to be activated.

With Safari 3.2 Mac, on the main dashboard page, the blog stats chart is narrower than the column and I have to use scroll bars to see all my graph. In Firefox 3.0.4 Mac is the same except there aren’t any scroll bars.

What happened to the “sticky posts” button? Or am I the only person using a sticky post?
-
@silverstar, good catch, I hadn’t noticed it was missing. It should be pretty easy for them to add back in. Perhaps send that into support to make sure they are aware of it.

Hey, the forum link in our dashboard just showed up under the Help post and opens in a new window.

@gregogrego: You can drag and rearrange the dashboard items (also remove those you don’t need).
@antigenre: There’s also a Preview button right under “Publish”, and there’s a “View” tab under post and page titles when you look at their list.
@zorcha: There’s an image button in the HTML editor, via which you add an image URL directly.
@silverstar98121: The sticky option is in the post editor alright. Visibility>Public>Edit.

That’s the reason it got buried, tsp. See here on that (and on how I already knew where the sticky is):

Go to settings > media and you can set thumbnail, medium and large sizes. Make sure on the large size to not make them bigger than your theme will allow.

OK this is very trivial but since its a major part of my typing routine, here it goes…
when i write a post from the quick press part of the dashboard, after every period at the end of a sentence I put a double space as in (example. sample) But when I publish the post or go to edit the post theres no double space after the period as in (example. sample) therefore I have to find every period and add an extra space. I hope I explained this clearly, its a small glitch that I can manage, but I thought I’d point it out.

HTML in general will delete extra spaces by design. The previous version seemed to honor the extra space, but it may have been a mistake in the coding or something.
Send it in to support and see what they say. In general though, HTML does not typically allow it.
-
Is wordpress starting a war on double spacing now, cause I just published a blog post and on my blogs front page there are question marks after the sentences. I will definitely be contacting wordpress about this matter, maybe Im just old school in nature, but double spaces need to be allowed for my sanity’s sake. If my professors require me to have double space after the period in my papers, then wordpress should consider people’s writing styles such as MLA or APA. OK now Im just ranting and I guess I can’t manage not having the double space option.
-
There is a lot of controversy over the double space at the end of sentences, and it is a hold over from the old monospaced typewriter days and most say it isn’t necessary now with proportional fonts. It could actually be that it was allowed with the last version here at wordpress by mistake. As I said, HTML does not really allow it in the specifications.
You can trick it by doing the following:
after each sentence (in the HTML tab). -
I suppose I’ll get used to it, but quite frankly I’d like two things given top priority:
Fix the incoming links! They haven’t been working for weeks and weeks.
Make it possible to jump from your dashboard to the wp.com main page and forums. This used to be possible. Now you have to open a new window. I realise this is a minor quibble in a world where two billion people don’t have access to clean water…
