It’s the middle of November, a period of calm before the holiday season. As we approach the end of the year, we reflect: How has 2019 unfolded? Have I met my blogging goals? Are we on track to meet our business goals?
If you’re reading this, it’s likely you’re using WordPress.com for your blog, your portfolio, or your website. How has your site helped you reach your goals? What has it helped you do or achieve this year?
Did you finally make a portfolio for your photography? Did you build a landing page for your consulting business so potential clients could learn more about you? Did you create an online hub for your organization to spread the word about what you do in the community? Or perhaps you returned to an old, neglected blog after years of not posting and carved out a much-needed personal space to write again?
Tell us about your blog or website journey in the comments below. We’ll compile and share some of our favorite responses in an upcoming post.

I started the blog just for fun and sharing my thoughts in to ether. It has evolved in to a hobby, which gives me a platform to express myself, a little corner for myself, in this big wide world.Writing on the blog has often helped me clear my mind and given me a creative outlet. I have enjoyed the journey so far.
My blog is https://coindesbobby.com.

I started writing in my blog after about 5 years after I read a blog about keeping an online log to record the progress of my language learning. In just a few days , I have started to write about my thoughts while learning Spanish…and its an amazing feeling!

I gave birth to my baby in July and decided to share chronicles about my life at the moment. I started it because writing to me is therapeutic and I was starting to go into depression. I’m so glad to have that space where I could just be me without being judged.

I began traveling the moment I retired as a NYC special needs high school teacher in March 2017. Soon after, I created a WordPress blog to keep friends and family up to date on my whereabouts through a steady diet of words and images.
Surprisingly, I attracted a global following that fueled my desire to sharpen my writing and rekindle my passion as a photographer. I recently passed 2,000 WordPress followers who have challenged me to keep my content fresh and personal, and driven me to reaffirm my commitment to continue self-expression long after the last landscape has been posted.
While I continue to travel periodically, I have realized that I also have a platform and an audience for sharing poetry, politics, music, art, and humor. I’ve even used my blog to serialize a historical memoir.
Thank you WordPress for allowing me to pursue my goals, and helping me to reach a supportive virtual community that encourages me to participate in such a nurturing forum.
See you online. Streamingthruamerica.com

WordPress has really helped me to step out of my creative comfort zone and try so many new things. I’ve always adored writing but was always petrified of starting a blog and being judged by others, but taking the plunge was one of the best decisions that I’ve made recently! I am honestly in love with sharing my passions with other people and discovering people with similar and differing opinions and interests to me which has inspired me so much both creatively and courage-wise.

I have started blogging few months back. I have gained little confidence in writing. I wanted to be a journalist and write articles. It could not happen in reality. WordPress is making it happen for me gradually..🌸

WordPress gave me an easy, unintimidating way to start my blog. I have ling been thinking about doing so, but didn’t know where to start. A quivk internet search for a platform and I was on my way! Hoping to touch hearts and really make people think through sharing my experiences.

WordPress provides a platform to connect with bloggers around the world. They introduce me to new cultures, ideas, and places to travel. Today’s post featured one of those connections made during WordCamp. I interviewed her for my podcast!
Thank you, WordPress!

WordPress has helped discover a new way of blogging. I tried to set up a Blog on 3 different Web Hosts these last 2 years and every one of them I had to learn some kind of coding in order to make my site useable. I was interested in coding for a while, but I really wanted to spend more time writing than I did coding. WordPress has simplified my life, I can get to doing what I set out to do.

Only started my blog this week but I’m grateful I did. WordPress has given me a platform to respond to the most common questions I get from my clients as a personal trainer.
This way I can answer them as simply or black and white as possible, and as a result I don’t have to respond to each one individually saving me time. More importantly however, this way I can teach them the tools they need to make health and fitness a lifestyle rather than a short-term investment.

I have always loved to write and I only joined this week, I’ve already received positive response on my post and get to share and inspire others. Many other sites I’ve used I don’t get much sight, but I feel lots of positive to come with WordPress. 🌞

When I first started my WordPress blog in December of 2018 I set modest goals, which I am still working to achieve. I have met some new people who share my passion for art and writing, and I hope to learn more about blogging in order to help my blog succeed. Thank’s WordPress, for giving me a platform to stand on.

Having a site here on WordPress has given me a place to focus on consistency. More than just writing here every day, I am also consistently expressing my creativity. You wouldn’t believe how much more confident I have become with my writing now that I write every day. It is a beautiful thing.

WordPress has helped me with determining that I can do anything as far as my blog. I have found myself looking at more ways to expand it and I have grown as far as writing. For the new year I am already thinking of new content and how many post I want to do weekly.

I blog in my spare time– when work isn’t in the way. And, in 2019, I’ve written 13 posts, gained 18 followers, been read in more than 10 countries, and had a ton of fun sneaking monstrous puns and batty plays on words into my writing. I’m glad to know that there are others out there that appreciate the Pretty Spooky Life, too.
