New to The Daily Post? Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, you’re invited to get involved in our Weekly Photo Challenge to help you meet your blogging goals and give you another way to take part in Post a Day / Post a Week. Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography.

Here’s how it works:

1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.

2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use a “postaday2011″ or “postaweek2011″ tag.

3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS.

  1. If I thought the Spring one was difficult; this one is quite impossible for me to take an up-to-date photo as I have been trying to do. Saskatchewan is totally landlocked on all four sides. What to do? 😛

  2. Sandra . . . some ideas . . . an ocean of flowers . . . an ocean of kisses . . . an ocean in the bathtub . . . an ocean of people . . . an ant facing an ocean (a puddle) . . . 🙂

    1. You know, I never even thought of these ideas. They are great. Right now, the entire village is covered in snow, so I could do an ocean of snow, but I used that for abundance. How about an ocean of dogs…do three dogs qualify as an ocean? hmmm ocean of kisses – ooooooh I think I know just the thing. One of our dogs loves to lie on hubby’s chest when he is in his recliner and kiss and kiss and kiss his face and neck.

Thanks, filmdrift, for the ideas. Much appreciated.

And Theresa, yeah, if it wasn’t freezing, I would love doing the ant facing an ocean/puddle. However, I don’t think ants ice skate, do they?

  3. Quem me dera poder viver junto ao mar, é tudo que eu quero sentir a briza, o cheiro, não pensar em nada, ficar só curtindo e olhando o infinito.
Nada melhor do que isso não?
    Abraços a todos!

  4. The ocean as home.

Yellow tail snapper at Looe Key coral reef. Florida Keys. Bob the barracuda is from…. anywhere he wants to be (I’ve seen his teeth!)
Always manages to find the swim ladder and hang out there. Mouth to small to get a good bite, I am told, but scary anyway – I am in his home!
