Movement. How do you show movement in your photos? This photo choice is a very deliberate show of movement through the camera lens and the blurring lights, but how else can you show movement of objects, or of the action that’s happening in your picture?

New to The Daily Post? Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, you’re invited to get involved in our Weekly Photo Challenge to help you meet your blogging goals and give you another way to take part in Post a Day / Post a Week. Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography.
Here’s how it works:
1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.
2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use the “postaday″ tag.
3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS
thanks again for inspiring!

I’ll have to dig deep for this one or God knows what. Now this is a challenge to work on! Thanks Sara! In the meantime, here’s my post from last week, which had a lady in black on a bicycle which showed movement: http://eof737.wordpress.com/2012/06/29/weekly-photo-challenge-fleeting-moment/

Very nice. Couldn’t leave a comment…words were invisible.
I agree with you. It’s not always easy catching movement with a point and shoot camera. Did my best. Here’s my entry. http://hugmamma.com/2012/07/06/weekly-photo-challenge-movement/

I took a slight different approach to movement, more like the intention of movement, or the illusion of it. http://davefarmersblog.wordpress.com/2012/07/06/weekly-photo-challenge-movement-kind-of/
