By After roadtripping through Utah’s surreal geological landscape last year, I bought a US National Parks pass and vowed to explore more of North America’s parks. There’s just so much to see.
On a recent hike up Ryan Mountain in Joshua Tree National Park, I saw panoramic views of Southern California’s desert dotted with Joshua trees, rocky formations, and mountains far off in the distance:

During a visit to Salzburg, Austria, we rode the funicular up to the old Hohensalzburg Fortress built in the 11th century. Located 400 feet above the Salzach river, it offered us a spectacular view of the city.
