New to The Daily Post? Whether you’re a beginner or a professional, you’re invited to get involved in our Weekly Photo Challenge to help you meet your blogging goals and give you another way to take part in Post a Day / Post a Week. Everyone is welcome to participate, even if your blog isn’t about photography.
Here’s how it works:
1. Each week, we’ll provide a theme for creative inspiration. You take photographs based on your interpretation of the theme, and post them on your blog anytime before the following Friday when the next photo theme will be announced.
2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Weekly Photo Challenge: (theme of the week)” and be sure to use a “postaday2011″ or “postaweek2011″ tag.
3. Subscribe to The Daily Post so that you don’t miss out on weekly challenge announcements. Sign up via the email subscription link in the sidebar or RSS.
Nice…this one will be tough! But I got too many ruins that I can link here! I’ll start flowing my posts at day break!!

Great suggestion: I did a scavenge hunt through my iphotos, and here is an interesting sequence of images, perfectly fitting in with the theme: broken (in this case, exploded!)

I have the perfect broken image that I’m sure a lot of people suffered with – if you like to have bird feeders hanging around.

I saw this old Nike runners out in the middle of the road and behind me I hear a voice. “they worn out” he said. I replied ” can see that” . The main funny thing was that the man he was one of them who live in the streets and his clothes looked worn out too, but there he was sitting on the stairs with no shoes on so…:) http://buddhajeans.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/my-shoes-had-enough.jpg

I am loving these challenges! I chose a series of photos of an abandoned yellow brick house by the Cedar River. It was “broken” during the floods of 2008 and will probably never be fixed again…

Thanks for the awesome weekly themes, this will definitely help me remember to post more photos on my blogs 😀
