Welcome to First Friday, a weekly open thread where any new blogger can share a link to his or her very first post with the larger WordPress.com community. To share your first post with us, copy and paste the link right into a comment here. If you’re not new, you can still be a part of First Fridays: visit a link or two, and leave the blogger a like or comment.

Please don’t use this as a space to share your first post…. that you published three years ago; ditto for simply sharing your latest post. Posts should have been published within the last month, and should be your first post. We’ll remove other posts to keep this space focused for new bloggers.

  19. Hi, I’m a new blogger and I’m wishing for some tips and advice on creating an interesting blog based on a story. Most of my friends don’t have a blog, so they can’t follow me. How do I gain more followers and views and make sure they like what I posted?

  27. Hi all I am not new to blogging but I am erratic at it at best. I am trying to do a book (photography) in the next year so I am here to improve my writing and blog skills. I have not posted a blog post until today since two years ago so I kind of feel new, lol.

    I am trying a few courses to get myself going or trying once again. I know this newest post is needs severe editing but I just wanted to write and I will practice some editing later.

    I would also like to meet people in sort of the same boat so maybe we can discuss the process of doing a book, becoming reliable at blogging and many other things.
