Community Pool

Where WordPress bloggers support each other with feedback and advice.

Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Are you redesigning your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?

The Community Pool is for peer feedback and advice. Looking for more specific information? Check out some of these resources:

Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).

Looking for more information about custom domains, advanced design options, and other enhancements for your blog? Find the WordPress.com plan that’s right for you.

Are you a new blogger looking to share your very first post? We have a special forum for bloggers just like you in our weekly First Friday posts.

To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips and guidelines you might find useful:

  • While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
  • The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once, as well as for not starting numerous threads in a single Pool.
  • If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
  • We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother. Also note that including multiple links in your comment might automatically put it in the moderation queue, which will delay its publication.
  • Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
  • To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
  • If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
  • No running on the deck.

    1. It looks like you are off to a good start. Regarding what to post, I suggest that you brainstorm a list of topics that interest you. Then think about what audience you would like to attract. From your brainstorm list, choose the topics you think your intended audience would like. https://gracelead.co

  1. Hey guys, I would really appreciate if you could read my blog post titled, “Accepting Myself As An Introvert.” The post is about how I struggled to accept myself as an introvert. Please comment on the post to let me know whether you liked it and do leave some feedback. Thank you so much!

  2. I am courious if any of you blog once a week? As a mom of two kids, realistically for me I can only commit to once a week to start out. Once I get going I might be able to do a couple times s week. I guess my question for you all is how often do you blog and do you write it in your schedule? Thanks so much for your help. Here is my blog where I seek to encourage other mommas through my day to day life.

  3. Processed meat has been classified as a Group 1 carcinogen. Did you know that? I just found out a couple of weeks ago and, as a bacon lover, felt compelled to do additional research and write a blog post about it.

I tried a new format in this post where I interspersed a few Q&As throughout. I would love it if you would leave feedback in the comments section of the post with your thoughts about the content, the Q&A format, or the topic. I will, of course, engage with your content in return!

  4. So I posted two posts in one day, and that’s a first.I think my writing juices were on overflow :-0 .Okay jokes aside, let me tell you a little about my posts and you can go and visit them and let me know what you think:
The first post is a short, sweet love story, a beautiful coincidence.Exactly and that’s again a first for me to write a love story. So I’m keeping my fingers crossed that, more and more people like it and comment and tell what you guys think.

    Coincidence

The second post, well I don’t have anything to say about it. I think you should just visit and tell me what you think. A blind post read 😉 .So have faith, read it and comment on the post your views and we can discuss your opinions, coz its gonna need your opinion.
