Where bloggers come together to give each other feedback and advice.
Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Are you redesigning your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?
The Community Pool is for peer feedback and advice. Looking for more specific information? Check out some of these resources:
- Learn, a series of step-by-step tutorials for those just starting out.
- All our posts on building an audience and growing your traffic.
- If you’re stuck for inspiration, here are our Daily Prompts and other ideas for writing topics.
- A roundup of posts on blogging etiquette.
Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).
Looking for free, self-guided courses to help you get started with your blog (or revive a dormant one)? Check out our current offerings at Blogging U.
To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips and guidelines you might find useful:
- While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
- The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once, as well as for not starting numerous threads in a single Pool.
- If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
- We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother. Also note that including multiple links in your comment might automatically put it in the moderation queue, which will delay its publication.
- Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
- To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
- If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
- No running on the deck.
Are you a new blogger looking to share your very first post? We have a special forum for bloggers just like you in our weekly First Friday posts.

Hello all, if anyone is looking at exploring the history of spirituality, please do check out my latest post: https://abravenewscience.wordpress.com/2017/07/12/exploring-the-concept-of-spirituality-i/

Hello, at the beginning of the article you say that Margaret Chatterjee’s book set out the answer the question ‘what is spirituality?’ but, as far as I could tell, your article doesn’t actually answer the question. So, without a definition, I found the remainder of the article rather vague TBH.
Also, I’m wondering what her views were on Spiritualism?

PUBLISHING THE ‘BEST OF YOUR BLOG’ IS AS EASY AS 1-2-3!
Also, a link to my previous post, an article which explains exactly how to go about self-publishing. It’s FAR easier than you may imagine, technology has moved on, such that Amazon can now print one-off paperbacks of a FANTASTIC quality, and it won’t cost you anything either!!
My article (3500 words) also covers Kindle eBook production and Audiobook creation too. I hope it will be useful to anyone who likes the idea of seeing their work in print!

The first thing I liked was the purple background. Since purple is my favorite color, I felt right at home. I read your post about vulnerability. I enjoyed the background on why you have decided to be vulnerable before you gave an example. Overall, it was easy to read. There were a couple of places where the wording was awkward. For instance, “that guy like when a girl take initiative” should be “that guys like it when girls take initiative” or “that a guy likes it when a girl takes initiative.” https://gracelead.co

Thank you for taking the time to read and giving me some feedback. Sorry about that but thank you for pointing it out to me, I appreciate that and will edit it.
Purple is also my favorite color 💜

Hey Folks!
I just added a new How-To / Opinion post on one aspect of Photographic Technique. It’s rather brief and intended to demonstrate this one aspect.
I’m a continually learning self-taught photo hobbyist and would certainly appreciate any feedback.
All are welcome and especially those looking to learn and share with respect to photography.
I’m also taking this as an opportunity to learn about your posts and views!

I am Hema from India, I was passionate about writing since young , When I started to write my first story in my 7th grade I was punished severely by my mom saying that it would distract me from my studies.. since then I was waiting for an opportunity… Now I am independent and can decide things for me.. So I took WordPress to share my story.. This is my blog

Hello everyone, my name is Fahad and I run a blog about life and philosophy and some other things as well. What I want is that you check my blog and give some feedbackhttps://dogmaticity.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/i-am-alive/

Hi Fahad! I just read your post. It provides a different outlook. I feel, and this is just my personal opinion, that you need to probably look into spellings and punctuation (for eg: “And I thought I won’t sat here forever anyways, so let go”)
One way I do my editing is that I use a text-to-speech software (online) and then listen closely as I follow with my writing. If I find any grammatical or sentence structuring errors, I correct them. Usually when you read it in your mind, it tends to “auto-correct” and you skip the mistake.
PS: The quote is from the book The Alchemist by Paulo Cohelo 🙂 Do take a look at my blog which is pretty similiar to yours :))

Thanks indecisive genius for the correct. I always love when I find room for improvement and you have found me one. I hope to correct the errors and hopefully make it better.

Hi guys! Today’s blog post is about a conversation I had with my mother about religion. Coming from an orthodox Brahmin family that places a lot of important on religion and practices, the views that my mother advocates was eye opening. I host a section called “Coffee Talk” where I write about mundane activities drawing subtle philosophical meaning that is applicable to all. Please do subscribe as I have just started my blogging journey 🙂

I’d also like some advice on photo layouts. I’m struggling finding a photo layout that I like–right now I’m just using the slideshow option but was wondering if there are other layouts that I can somehow upload onto my platform that aren’t just the standard 5 or 6 options already available?
Love for everyone!

Hello!
I am a poetry blogger and now I have posted around 23 poems while I am only 25 days or so old on WordPress. I have recently started writing preambles to my poems. This new change has made the page look very congested on a Desktop. It looks great on Tablets and Mobile but not on the laptop. Can someone suggest me that how do I fix the width of my content on desktop view (like I want it to be only 500 pixels wide)?
I am also looking for a new theme for my blog. It will be really appreciated if someone can suggest some good free themes for Poetry blogs.
I also am looking for feedback on https://rushdas.wordpress.com/2017/07/13/with-and-without-you/
