The place for feedback, advice, and blogging camaraderie.
Have you just published a new post and are dying for some feedback? Are you redesigning your blog and could use some layout or design advice from your more seasoned peers?
The Community Pool is for peer feedback and advice. Looking for more specific information? Check out some of these resources:
- Learn, a series of step-by-step tutorials for those just starting out.
- All our posts on building an audience and growing your traffic.
- If you’re stuck for inspiration, here are our Daily Prompts and other ideas for writing topics.
- A roundup of posts on blogging etiquette.
Tap into the wisdom of The Daily Post blogging community and leave your question here in the comments. Others can then click through and offer input either on your site, or in the comments here (feel free to indicate which you’d prefer).
Looking for free, self-guided courses to help you get started with your blog (or revive a dormant one)? Check out our current offerings at Blogging U.
To help us make the Community Pool a productive space for discussion, here are some tips and guidelines you might find useful:
- While you’re not required to, we encourage everyone who requests feedback to also reply to at least one or two other bloggers who need some help. Spread the love!
- The Community Pool comments section can get quite big — and starting duplicate threads doesn’t help. Thanks for not posting the same question more than once, as well as for not starting numerous threads in a single Pool.
- If you’re looking for quality feedback, be as specific as you can. Questions about a particular post tend to draw more comments than ones about entire blogs. Questions about specific design elements are more likely to be answered than ones asking for general layout advice.
- We discourage leaving links without a more substantive message or question. These are often overlooked by other bloggers, and we frequently remove them to make the comment reading experience smoother. Also note that including multiple links in your comment might automatically put it in the moderation queue, which will delay its publication.
- Please keep all comments civil and constructive. The idea is to have fun — it’s a pool, after all!
- To keep from losing your place in the comment thread while you visit others’ blogs, right-click on a link to open it in a new tab or window.
- If you haven’t looked at our Commenting Guidelines in a while, now might be a good time.
- No running on the deck.
Are you a new blogger looking to share your very first post? We have a special forum for bloggers just like you in our weekly First Friday posts.

Hi guys! This is my site:
I am doing mostly reviews of products, food, reviews but also with some World Events and my Life perspectives. Is there any tips that I can use to improve it further?
Much appreciated!

I love your blog on reviewing books as well! Did you do review of every book you read??
LikeLiked by 2 people
Not every one, because sometimes I don’t have time, but 90% of the past years books have been reviewed. I’m backlogged, so all the book reviews will be up soon!

I like the overall look and organization. I did get a little confused when selecting the TV Series Review category and getting the Train Delay post. It was a good read, but didn’t seem to fit in that category. I found your review of the Dr. Strange movie helpful and well-written. https://gracelead.co

Hey! Welcome back! Don’t stress too much, we all go through that phase. The most important part is to keep at it and keep on writing and moving forward. 🙂
LikeLiked by 1 person
You don’t need to dwell on not having written in a while, it’s more important that you’re back writing. That’s something I’ll have to tell myself when I have enough time to find topics, read up, and write again, though…

I like your theme but I don’t know how to best include your logo…perhaps look for a similar theme that also has space for a logo? Or add it as the first widget in your menu tab?

Hi, everyone…Truly, here…I’ve posted my latest offering (Nov 20/16…”Thank You For Being A Fred”)–and I’d be delighted if you would give it a read 🙂
Shortly upon reading, you will find that it’s an ode to friendship, and is riddled with my signature wordplay–and philosophical bent. If it turns out to be your cup of tea, you will be amused, sometimes befuddled (in a good, fun way), and will either be given to fond (old-school) remembrances–or, will discover something new. Please let me know what you think. I will happily visit your blog and do the same. Oh, and, if you are generous enough to give me a “like” and/or comment, please do so right on my blog (as opposed to this page). Take care 🙂

I’d like to invite everyone to stop by and check out my weekly poem, “For William S. Burroughs.” Yes, I wrote it as a tribute to the late author, and tried to channel whatever I thought I might be getting ready to read before reading his first novel Junky, which I’ll be reviewing tomorrow. If you like it, please click the like button on the post page, and follow along for my poetry. Comments and feedback are welcome, and please leave them on the post page as well. Thanks in advance for reading.
