How do Blogging U. courses work?

Blogging U. courses exist for one reason: to help you meet your own blogging and writing goals.

  • Courses are free, flexible, and open to all.
  • You’ll get a task to respond to each weekday at midnight GMT, along with our best advice and favorite resources. Do them on your own time, and interpret them however makes sense for your specific blog and personal goals — we’re not grading you, we’re not checking to make sure you complete every task, and there’s no “wrong” way to use the resources we give you. Weekends are free!
  • Each course has a private community site, the Commons, for chatting, connecting, and seeking feedback and support. Daily Post staff and Happiness Engineers will be on hand to answer your questions and offer guidance and resources.

  1. Hi @michelleweber I had a problem in Blogging 101 if you remember. I signed up twice and then cancelled one of the registrations; which resulted in cancellation of both. I wasn’t able to receive the assignments via my regular email as WordPress emails were blocked by my ‘unsubscribing’. TL;DR I have used the same email to register for Blogging 201. Could it happen again? Or should I give an alternate email as before?

  3. Hello! Blogging 101 was awesome! I am already enrolled in Writing 101 (and already behind on homework!). I had planned not to register for Blogging 201, but I can’t resist! But if I can’t get to all the assignments, I can take the courses again, right? I think I may just keep the assignments and do them slowly over time, also… 😊 looking forward!! 😁

    1. Hi @teefortwo — we’ve got you in the course. You can join us in the Commons. We’ve sent the welcome and first day’s assignment email to you. Please check your spam filter and your “Social” filter in Gmail. Sometimes the emails get trapped there before they reach your inbox.
