Last Call for the Next Round of Blogging 201

Still on the fence about joining Blogging 201? You’ve got a few days left!

Please note: the content of this edition of Blogging 201: Branding and Growth is the same as the challenge offered earlier this year. If you’re looking for something new to tackle, more Blogging U. courses will roll out this fall and throughout 2015.

Blogging 201: Branding and Growth is a two-week challenge to give your blog a serious kick start. Daily exercises guide you through:

  • Defining your blog’s brand.
  • Building your audience across multiple platforms.
  • Understanding and using your blog’s stats to encourage growth.

You’ll get a task each weekday, with links to resources and our best advice on how to tackle it. Weekends are for catching up, exploring a new tool further, or just blogging. As with all Blogging U. challenges, you’ll also have access to The Commons, a private, staff-moderated space to chat with other participants, ask questions, and give feedback.

You’re welcome to join Blogging 201 whether or not you participated in Blogging 101 — there are no prerequisites at Blogging U. It’s also open to any blogger, whether you blog on WordPress.com, have a self-hosted WordPress site, or use another service entirely.

  5. I ‘completed’ 101, but more in theory in practice. I’m still not sure how things work or what my dashboard does. Indeed what I do! Look forward to getting lost again. Please find me and help me home.

  13. I would love to join and have tried a couple times but whatever registration form the reader is invited to fill out does not arrive, merely cycles and times out rather than load up. inthegazeoftheother.com

    2. I just went through 101 and found most of the material was already familiar but I still picked up a lot of useful info by seeing how bloggers interact with their audience. (I also had a diverse group of active participants too so it’s different for everyone really)
      I would sign up anyways as the commons is a great place to get feedback from others.
