    1. Hi! I checked out your page. I love stories so I’m going to follow you. I like your flow, it was easy for me to get sucked in. The only little critiques I have … Just keep in mind that the bigger portion of the blogging community … So I’ve heard doesn’t get attracted to lengthy lengthy stuff. So I think a “to be continued” in the middle of your stories sometimes would give them that break that they think they want. Also always go back and check grammar there was like one word and the letters were switched around but who doesn’t do that sometimes. So yeah, hope this helped. I am new too so check me out if you’d like.

      1. Thank you! I’m glad you liked my stories. And thanks for the critiques it’s always hard for me to keep things short. And for a few of my post it was part of blogging 101. They tell you not to go back in fix your mistakes. I think they were trying to killing us writers. Lol. But I do need to grammar I’ve always sucked at it. Thank you again for checking out my stuff. I followed you back. I love your posts. The ‘Sex’ one I really relate to.

I’ve written two blogs so far, I’d love it if you could go to my page and have a look, I’d firstly just like to know if people are interested in them, and then if anyone has any tips in general of how to make them more interesting, if they’re too long, etc…thanks guys!       I like your posts. I think they’re very real and insightful. I like that your pieces are bold. Not many people can open up about personal views and be as raw as I think you were. They were both lengthy but, I kept reading because I heard you in the message and I wanted to finish. I like that it was kind of like a conversation. So yeah, post more, maybe shorten it and yeah love it!

  9. I just started my blog as well. It is filled with memories from my childhood. Kinda Therapy for me. But with so much material I am afraid that I am going to get lost from story to story. They aren’t in any order and I like it that way. I would love any advice anyone has or to comment on how I am doing. Thanks in advance.

    1. I really like your page. I love memoirs. I like that it’s out of order as well, it’s more enticing that way. We never remember things in order anyway. The flow was very warm and it broke my heart when your dog died. Smh. The only little tip I have is look out for grammar. But I love your page lol in following you I can’t wait for the next one.   10. Hello everyone! I’m also new here and I have just started my blog. There are only 3 posts now but I will keep on improving it as time goes. About me: I’m currently a sophomore at Ohio Northern University and my major is business. I’m also an international student with English as a second language. This summer I’m taking a course on social media strategies and that is a main reason why I started my blog—in general it is focused on some thoughts and comments about what I learned on social media strategies and how social media are used to benefit businesses and customers. Another main reason is to improve my English writing. From taking notes about the course and introducing my life at ONU, I hope that I can better learn how to write in a natural and effective way.     What is the policy on non-Wordpress.com blogs appearing here? I went to look at one blog (through the link in the user’s name) and there was no mention of WP or a theme. (The WP black bar was also absent from the top of my screen.)

    Obviously, I didn’t want to provide feedback unless they were here legally.

  14. Good morning. My blog is about my becoming a grandmother. I talk about my thoughts, frustrations and feelings on what a grandmother is, what she does and how she behaves as a grandmother. i also talk about how grandmothers can influence the children in their lives. So far, I’ve gotten my inspiration from grandparents.com, but they seem to be a bit mild (although that isn’t the right word). I would like to see what others might suggest as a worthy topic.

I chose the My Life Theme for the blog, I am not happy with the appearance of this particular blog.For some reason I have two columns for the administration of the blog I have tried with no success to delete one column so that my blog can be good to look at.   21. Hi peeps, just posted my second post. Currently use the adele theme but for some reason my title isn’t showing up on screen. It is there when I go to edit but I can’t see it on the posted page. Really annoying. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
