Oh, the badges have been redesigned! I love the new look but now they won’t colour-coordinate with my Zero to Hero badge… I was wondering maybe it would be nicely consistent to have all official WP badges blue? Just thinking of those of us who are a bit OCD about these details… Still, thank you for the badges, I’m off to add them now!

I was wondering if there is a badge for the Weekly Photo challenge I participate in. Would that be post a day since that is how the posts say to tag the post as?

I think the Weekly Photo Challenge has the Post a Week badge. At least that’s how I’m using it.

Yup, use the Post a Week badge if you’d like — there’s no photo challenge-specific badge.

Oh, sorry, I put it in a confusing way! I meant that to show your participation in the Photo a Week challenge, you may wish to use one of the badges offered above, the one called Post a Week. Better…?

You can either grab the URL of the badge listed on the page, or right-click to save the badge to your own computer and then upload it to your WordPress media library. Then, you’ll be able to get the URL there.
Once you have the URL, add an image widget to your sidebar, and paste in the URL.

Couldn’t figure out how to use the image widget, but managed to add the post a week badge using the text widget.

where is the image url i cant find it?

It’s i the code just under the badge. Or, if you’ve uploaded the image to your own blog, go to the item in the your Media Library — the URL will be there, in a box on the right-hand side.

I used Post a Day badge. To do that, choose an Image Widget on your Appearance in your dashboard. Just copy badge url you choose to Image URL column.

What’s the post a day or post a week thing about? Can anyone tell me please. I’m new to blogging and follow a few prompt blogs but as I usually access the reader from my iPhone can’t really keep up with everything. My goal is to post once a week so does that mean I am a post a week 2014 blogger???
