  1. can anyone tell me how to add links in groups from other weekly photo challenge to the bottom of my wphotochallenge post? I see some with 2 dozens links numbered, is there a way to create this all at once, or do you have to post the link on to your challenge post one at a time, thanks orb

  5. Whenever I read the title of this blog I though this would be an embarrassing childhood story that happened at the community pool. However, just as satisfying that story would have been (or at least whatever my imagination concocted) this served the same purpose. Thank you!
Check out our blog! It’s the typical three young women just trying to survive grad school but all of the comedy, blood, sweat, and tears to add some suspense.
Any advice for a collaborative blog?

    1. I really like your use of gifs and images! I also liked when you shared the story of your 7th grade crush. I think the details and specifics are what draw people in. Some of the analogies at the beginning kind of lost me a bit, but I was back on track when you got into your personal story 🙂

For a collaborative blog, maybe break out a page in the menu bar that details out each of you, who you are and what your stories are. That way, people can get to know each of you individually. And then you can tag your posts and assign categories to them for each person. Does that make sense?

Also, I think the light text makes it a bit tough to read. Maybe try something darker? And I would left-justify it rather than center it, so it reads a little easier. Lastly, there are a couple places that need minor grammar work, but overall it was nicely done.

    1. Hi! I like the clever blog name. I spent some time reading your blog. The post on November 7th was intriguing. You are very creative. http://anawnimiss.wordpress.com/2013/11/07/of-narcissism/ Here, you discuss concern that someone will find your true identity out. I really related to you during this post. In fact, I am running my website AudienceWatch.me without any family or friends (even my husband) knowing about it too. I guess I think that I will be limited in what I say, if I share it with the people that know me. I think your writing is very natural, and so this is all I can say that could help make it better: Go after this theme of yours. Talk to people about vulnerable secrets, and share those if you run out of your own. Maybe sprinkle in some posts about anonymity itself and how it plays a roll in the world. You could talk about the trending anonymous search engines, or the nicest anonymous things people have ever done. I think secrets are inherently intriguing, so its a good theme. I hope this is helpful feedback. Thanks for sharing your blog.

  6. I’m ready to hop on the train the take this blog to the next level. What originally began as an “inhouse” type project I am interested in appealing to a wider audience on the topic of christian education. My post though seem to deal with more general spiritual or religious themes.

Hoping to edit ideas maybe with comments from you

  7. My blog is about navigating young adulthood. I hope to address a lot of the issues and challenges twentysomethings face, from how so many little things change to finding a job and buying a house. Basically, the things college doesn’t teach you.

I would love your candid feedback! Please let me know what you think 🙂

    1. Hi Rob – I think your content is very strong. You have a great collection of photos, especially the wildlife. I also like the bird slideshow—it’s made me consider an occasional slideshow post myself, gathering together ‘birds’ or ‘flowers’ or something like that.

Regarding layout and navigation, I think it’s pretty good, but a couple small things could be tweaked to improve the overall look (constructive only).

1 – In general, it’s slightly busy, so I would remove or adjust an item or two so there’s not quite as much stuff on every page (less in sidebars?).
2 – The brightest white text in some parts of sidebar is a little too-white. If it were toned down a little, I think that would be an improvement, and would possibly address #1 above.
3 – In my opinion, you could remove the pingbacks from the comments, as they’re not meaningful to read. Just the personally written comments should be there, and at the top. There’s a setting for not-showing pingbacks in comments – I believe it’s under ‘reading’.

  8. Do you have an idea about when I will quit writing blogs? I’m a terrible writer and I’m keeping this new found hobby from family and friends hence my 0 audience, I’m surprise, I’m still doing it.

    1. I took a look at your posts, this is actually the first time I decided to comment and get involved in this outstanding wordpress community.

For me, the writing about you family in others post was funny and heartwarming, I could relate.
Specifically, on the failure piece, It seemed kind of incomplete to me.

The first thing I did on your page was look at the about page to see what your general topics were and why you are endeavoring to blog. There was not a lot of information there, maybe you can add something there.

The amount of your post were inspiring, good job!
