When was the last time you changed your mind?

  1. The last time I changed my mind was less than one minute ago. I was going to respond to an email from a friend and then decided to post here.

I don’t know if changing one’s mind leads to learning something new. Other things changing could lead to learning new things. Mistakes encourage learning. If I do something right, I already know it; if I do it wrong, I may learn how to do it right.

  2. Last time I changed my mind was few months back when I realized that this is me, only me, who is responsible for my acts and answerable against Allah so I should spent my life as I want. And should say no to those who are poking their nose in My Life !

And surely it leads me to learn more realities of life.

I am a very indecisive person so I am constantly changing my mind, then wondering whether I was right to do so. I wish I had the confidence of Misbah Malik.
Now I’ve changed my mind about staying on line because it’s time for me to go eat lunch!

  4. (I arrived here by reading an article today at Counterpunch.com about mTBI by Conn Hallinan–but I am not sure where “this” is.)
This morning I began a study of anxiety or concern about the future. We not only project a world but we also have a picture or map of that world. If too often our picture has failed us and led to trouble, that might be the source of our fear . . . But I thought there are two solutions: one is to have the confidence that whatever comes along one can handle it, and other is to have a very accurate picture of the world that is rarely off. The former I would think would be the best. In either case a lot of change is in order. What do you think?

  5. I guess that if we paid attention to ourselves, we might see we change our minds a lot every day.

  6. Are you kidding? That’s what I do. Sometimes I even surprise myself. I never know what I’m ordering at a restaurant, because I’m always changing my mind. I don’t know what I actually said until the server reads it back. Then I think, yeah, that might work. Changing your mind definitely keeps life interesting. Imagine the rut we’d be stuck in if we never changed our minds.

  7. I believe changing “my mind” is a natural process. I also believe every day is a new day, thus my mind should be changing and growing every day (in better). But yes, its easy, normal, and sometimes way to confusing. Its also fun and always leading to new options, and variations of time, situations, and circumstances!

  9. I wrote a novel and changed my mind whether I want to post it on my blog. This was about 10 minutes and the back and forth with changing my mind went on for a day 🙂

  10. I don’t mind changing my mind when necessary buddy.

Bonus: If you never change your mind, you’re not learning anything new. Agree?
    Disagree.
It depends on which state your mind started in. If a person has a foolish mindset, it would be better if they be open to learning. If a person keeps to an open mind, in contemporary context, I would still think it is a wonderful state to retain for most part of the time.

  11. I invariably change my mind abt wat to eat specially wen I m alone, because I feel lazy to cook for myself! Ofcourse in daily routine I try to stick to my chores. Also agree that by chaining ur mind u learn a lot. Sometimes it misfires badly.
