  1. How strange that I just posted a blog entry about this topic yesterday! I spent the week ruminating on the nature of risk taking, wondering why some people do it and others don’t. I trust my gut.

  2. RISK> RISK>RISK>
Break the word down to it’s root, and really what it means is allowing yourself to fail @ something. That is really the reason why we even have the word.
No Risk, No Failure, No Failures, No Gain, No Gain, No Knowledge and the lists of No’s outweigh the original word Risk!
So take a Risk, it always will teach you something!

  3. Funny… I also just blogged a related post.
I got into a smoking car that had just crashed to help a trapped man. I had to wonder if the engine was going to catch fire or was already on fire because of all the smoke. I thought my kids are all grown and my husband, he’ll be alright but that man is alone. I got in the car and stayed with him until the fire trucks came and sprayed down the car and the EMTs took over. It was a little scary.

    1. I’m glad you did that. You felt the depth of human connectedness that probably cannot be described. And you did it thoughtfully, considering other significant factors as well. I congratulate you !

  4. Risks are ace fun! I take as many as I can on a daily basis just to see what I can get away with, even though many are quite minor they still provide that element of thrill associated with the risk.

  5. Simplesmente escolhendo os riscos, só que muitas vezes não vale a pena não, pagamos muito caro por isso. Devemos pensar bastante antes de entrar numa fria!
    Abraços a todos!

  6. Fear – it’s what risk is all about. How fearful are you? I always base risk on the level of what I feel comfortable doing, whether it be business or personal. This therefore becomes a calculated risk weighing the pro’s against the cons.

  7. You weigh out your options and lean more toward personal happiness. Death is guaranteed, happiness is a choice; how many people can say their happy at this very moment and be content? Take the risk, live the adventure and don’t look back
