If you got a tattoo, what would it be?

“Freiheit statt angst” (freedom not fear)
Already have two: a cross and celtic trinity(right shoulder) and the phrase, “I shall not live in vain.” on my left forearm. For my third, however, I would get my kids’ names written in Aurek-Besh (the written alphabet of Star Wars) on my left shoulder.
I am horribly afraid of needles, but I did a whole what-if post for this topic…
I would have the little bird my son designed as a bracelet (three lovely bird in soft pastel, one for each child), but I have skinproblems so I stick with the design.
A picture of… nothingness. I never want a tattoo. Ever.
a Behemoth :)))) it still sounds better than MOM :)))
Personally, I’m not into tattoos, the pain or the downward sag as skin gets older. At a swimming pool not so long ago I saw a young woman who had a tree tattooed in the style of a japanese apple blossom (with pink flowers) covering her whole back. It looked amazing … very beautiful.
As soon as I find a design I want on my body for the rest of my life, I’ll get one. My tastes aren’t the same as they were when I was 18, so I imagine I’ll never find something I’ll like forever.
“Truth Enlightens” in Latin. Maybe upper back; between shoulders. I have two tatoos now; One was inked in Las Vegas; the other Boise, Idaho.
Here are my tats
I would probably get a Buddisht munk across my face.
Just a thought.
Got one on my right arm. It says FABULUST. Going to get couple more this year.
I recently saw some great Japanese tattoos. I really like the Samurai and Koi Carp scenes. I would like something like that on my back but, 1. It’s very expensive and; 2. It takes a long time.
Still that’s what I would like, a nice Samurai scene on my back.
a phoenix tattoo
I don’t like pain! 🙂
its a pain
i would never get a tattoo in my life
My son has enough for all of us so no need.
Ooh, I love this! I doubt I’d ever get a tattoo but if given the chance, I’d choose something with hidden meaning because I love mysteries and puzzles like that. ^_^

Kidding . . . . I would have another Maori tattoo. One to cover the top of my right leg.
what if I got a tattoo ? until two days ago, my answer would have been : a tattoo ? never for me !
but I’ve been sent so nice pictures of very very nice tattoes (can see them on FaceBook) so that I can now say – but I’ll say it in French – j’aimerais un tatouage décoratif, purement géométrique comme sur des manscrits, des couleurs discrètes, absolument pas de personnages ou de story-telling, matelots, danseuses etc …
That’s all, folks.
For me, I’d love to get a rose tattoo on my hip.. 🙂
i mused over my childhood days in our small town, a friend of my dad who is an ex convict dropped by a visit, without hesitation, showed his lpair of legs, arms to wrist emblazoned with tattoo. my impression then is when i see tattoo in any parts of the body of human he’s an ex con.
a full sleeve.
