Make a prediction about life in 2021.

Tip: Look back at life in 2001 and what you remember thinking 2011 would be like. Compare it to what actually happened. Use that to help you think about predicting something about 2021.

  1. Hmmmmmmmmmm, I am a planner, but 2001 was a very Bad year for Me personally, I lost my husband in 2000, so that was my 1st year alone, YUCK>>> so now 11 years later, I am healed, and working very hard to stay that way…! To push forward another 10 years,,, my granddaughter will be 22,
    my daughter 49, myself 69, my son-in-law 55, WOW,,, I pray we are all still together, Healthy, and still Love & Care for each other as much as we do today! Simple Yes, but not always so Easy!

  4. There will be robots everywhere! We’ll all be travelling in flying cars and using food replicators. All diseases will be eradicated and we’ll live in a utopian society, blissful and happy. Um, on second thoughts I think that was a prediction made for 2001 back in the 60’s!

    I think 2021 will be pretty much the same as it is now. We’re already seeing signs of stress on the worlds food and water supply so that will be in the news considerably more. With the advent of 24hour news and the internet it seems like there’s a lot more bad stuff going on in the world, but I think in reality we just have the ability to hear about it faster and more often, so it may seem like things are worse now than 2001 or will be worse in 2021 but it probably won’t be.

    I’ll still be smiling though! You gotta have a smile!

Í’d hope there would be world peace among us since in 2011 was 9/11 the worst day of my life not knowing if my children were alive, my dreams for the coming years were that we’d be more prone to be kinder to one another careing of our words action toward eachother. One could only hope our political system also would try be more honest caring of all people including the middle class working , For 2012 I’m hoping President Obama is re-elected and he keeps all his promises to the people help the ones in need

  10. Bem com certeza eu já terei partido, mas para a minha família e a todos que permanecerem aqui desejo o melhor.
    Mas da maneira como anda o Mundo não vejo coisas boas para o futuro não.
    Aqui no Brasil ,só lamento ter que viver num país onde tudo acontece de ruim. Não é a toa que estou tão desanimada! Todos os dias só ouvimos noticías péssimas. Imaginem até o ano 2021?

  13. It is easy to make a prediction about life in 2021 when you have a goal in your life to work for. When I came to this country in 2001 I was expecting a new life and my goal since that moment was my desire to study a career here and continuing my professional formation in the legal field. It was hard to start from zero! I went to ESOL program offered by public schools during the nights to learn English Language. Today, ten years later, I am still working for my goal to continuing my education; for this reason I am studying in Broward College the Legal Assisting Program, no matter how long it will take to me finish it. Fortunately, I am expecting will be graduated in December 2011. So predicting my future I hope to be practicing as a professional in the legal field by 2021 with high change to have a diploma as a lawyer.

  15. well, 2011 – 2021 – 10 years by now? I kown that the poor will be misarable, the nature of men will be the same. So I will see and hear all the same stories on the news as in 2011, it will be more focus on natural desasters simply because we will continue destroing mother-earth, the religion conflicts. No it will take more than 10 years to build a better world, but I know that some of us will work hard to make the better world emerge using love and honesty as tools. i hope for better fuel solutions, NO to Atomic energi, YES to wind and sun energy, end of governmental corruption (utopia?), No to H.A.A.R.P. NO to terrorism! YES to family

  16. obviously tvs will be like a big i phone everything will inter active big brother will have more ways of watching us, taxing us, hopefully traffic wardens will work from an office… i would like to think there will not be as many people on jeremy kyle with asbo kids and encourage everyone who has children to read there is no reason for the next generation who are in primary school now to slip through the net, hopefully stronger families-tighter communities-people who make sure the next generation are pro active and not anti-social

    Things are changing in our schools and outside agencies are uniting with schools to try and make a difference for the next generation. i hope in 10 years all the people who shouldt be having children are sterilisd

    So what i am going to do?? Its a fogy and i cant see anything..
    Cant think about the future.. Some people say’s world is going an end…. So its a kind of mystery so cant think about 2021 right now 🙂

  22. In 2021, hopefully people will see God through the eyes of their heart, not through the eyes of religion, and they will lead more compassionate lives, seeing all beings as their equals. More importantly, by that year, I should have the best couscous recipe ever. Question: if two negatives make a positive, does that mean two sad individuals can make a happy couple?
