Finding Topics Worth Blogging About

Running out of writing ideas yet? Here are five great tips to keep you going, excerpted from Finding Topics Worth Blogging About | Business 2 Community:

Blog About What You Love
The wonderful, truly amazing thing about blogging is that you do not have to hold a degree to share the things that you are passionate about…Whatever it is, don’t be afraid to share your ideas with the world via your blog. You never know who might be interested in the very same things.

Read, Read, Read
Take a look around the web and find other blogs that cover topics that you are interested in. Blog about what you read. There is always that chance that something you read could trigger your inspiration and give you ideas for a new blog post.

Interviews
Do you have a favorite blog that you like to read? Consider trying to land an interview with the owner of that blog. Speaking to that person will both feed your own inspiration as well as provide you with quality content for your own blog.

Write What You Know
Stop worrying about what everyone else is writing and start focusing on you. Instead of spending hours in front of the computer trying to decide what to write, target your concentration instead on what you already know.

Write What You Don’t Know (Sometimes)
It’s even okay to write about things that you aren’t necessarily familiar with. It is a natural desire of any writer to explore uncharted territories. As a general rule, don’t go exploring questions that cannot be answered with passion. That read, if you are not genuinely interested in writing about it, don’t.

  3. I think figuring out what to write has always been my issue and then, also finding enough time to read/search for new topics has been my other downfall. But I think I just need to motivate myself more for this.

    So true that we can be honest and show our vulnerability by writing what we don’t know and who knows along the way we’ll be able to find the perfect answer from blog visitors. 😉

    which topics got feedbacks.
    If there should be no comment at all to one article,
    I would not post a similar thing again 🙂

  10. Great suggestions! I think for me it is the passion for the topic you are interested in is most important. Also having opinions on topics that you are very interested in. Others write their opinions on the opinions of other bloggers and come out with very interesting entries. Sometimes a topic is approached in a very different but interesting point of view.

Olá Èrica, você tem razão, mas eu no meu blog vou escrevendo o que me dá vontade de escrever, ler eu leio no que estou interessada, gosto muito de escrever, gostaria que outras pessoas me procurassem. Quanto as entrevistas não sei quem procurar, mas estou aberta a elas, me procurem tá? Faremos uma troca.

  14. I always keep a small palm-sized notebook in my purse. Whenever I have an idea I jot it down so that way I always have a steady supply of material that I can write about.

    Pour débuter , donnez-moi l’occasion de vous montrer ma gratitude pour toutes les excellentes infos que j’ai découvertes sur cet imposant site.

    Je ne suis pas sure d’être au meilleur endroit mais je n’en ai pas trouvé de meilleur.

    Je viens de Dalhousie, canada . J’ai 38 ans et j’ai 3 agréables enfants qui sont tous âgés entre 11 ou 16 années (1 est adoptée ). J’adore beaucoup les animaux et je fais de mon mieux de leur présenter les concoctions qui leur rendent l’existance plus splendide.

    Je vous remercie à l’avance pour toutes les formidables délibérations à venir et je vous remercie de votre compréhension pour mon français moins qu’idéal : ma langue de naissance est le portuguais et j’essaie de m’enseigner mais c’est très difficile!
