Topic #74:
Read through first – then do.
Close your eyes. Count to ten. Then imagine a beautiful ancient castle (tastefully remodeled to include central heating, kick-ass wi-fi and WordPress.com ready laptops everywhere). Now walk down the endless main hall, a hall filled with amazing rooms of wonder. Go into the 2nd room on the right. What’s inside?

Its the Dining Room…It is a fabulous room.. an enormous table down the centre which is laid with a brilliant white tablecloth. sparking cutlery and and numerous glasses, twinkling in the lights from the gigantic chandalier hanging from the ceiling high above the table. The Centre table decoration is an vision to behold with flowers of various colour and size.
The walls are lined with portraits of the past occupants of this great castle and there is much in evidence of great wealth. The furniture glistens, the floor polished to a mirrored shine. The opulance is overwhelming as I look around the room.
The footman beckons me to the table, and nervously I oblige by sitting carefully upon the gilded chair.
He asks ” what would Madam like for lunch?
I replied ” oooh Fish ‘n ‘ chips please”
What a lovely dream. Shame that it came to an end but still now I can have my egg and chips.
Goodnight Folks , sweet dreams

I can only think of a bunch of undead.
Well, I guess, it’s just the consequence of watching the undead series such as Dawn of the Dead, 28 Weeks Later, Devil’s Playground and so on.

As I read this, I pictured the guy for Old Spice on a horse saying the lines. “Now you’re in a hall, and now a room….. 🙂 It is a great idea though so I will take full advantage of it.

I like this idea but I can’t think of anything original. I am now trapped inside Roald Dahl’s “The Chocolate Room”…

A dream room for the kid that I was. The walls painted like the sky, toys, books and bright colors. Indicative of imagination and magic.

A wonderful room that I don’t have to leave for anything. It has a a California King size bed, my CPAP is nearby for my sleeping comfort and health. A lavish kitchenette is nearby if I don’t want to go to the dinning room for meals. The bath is well appointed with a large bathtub for my lounging comfort. The view out of the window shows me a wonderful view of the city that I live in. My workstation satisfies all of my computing needs by allowing me reach out to my Facebook peeps and post to my many well followed blogs.

My first thought was of an indoor garden…complete with faux grass and a stream….and trees with falling leaves! (I suppose sort of like a fairie land!) And in the corners stand men in armor. 🙂

I have a lot on my plate so it took a considerable amount of effort to push all those errant thought bubbles out of the way and clear my mind. What this translates to is that I sat with my eyes closed for a good few minutes… on the bus… looking like a weirdo… until I finally managed to bust into that second room… and realised that in my ‘absence’, I’d missed my stop… and the following one.
It was a pimp-ass bedroom, by the way.

I stand at the end of a hall, which is long, but surprisingly narrow. To the left, there are tall arch-shaped windows with stained-glass paintings. To the right, there’s one door after another all the way down to the other end.
The sign on the first door reads Lab. On the second, that I’m supposed to open, there’s a sign saying… what?? Duty. I open the door. Right inside…
It’s about fictitious characters.

I meditated on it and opened the door but all that was there was an worn wooden table and bench. Standing on the bench was Mandy Patinkin in slouchy leather boots saying “Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.”
