Topic #55
If you could have anything to eat right now, what would it be?
Bonuses: 1) Assume price is no object. 2) If you could eat this food with anyone alive or who has ever lived, who would it be? 3) Find and share a photo of what you’d like to eat or the person from #2.

All I think about is what I can eat, almost all the time! Right now, I’m in the middle of reading marketing reports on food trends for 2011, too!
Thank you so much for this topic. It’s a great one for foodbloggers.

this qtn itself makes me feel hungry… I would love to indulge in everything that could be unhealthy.. but with a little less oil, coz too much oily food spoils the taste.. but all yummy burgers and grills of Chillis… yum yum yummy

I was planning to wait until this Saturday to start my PostAWeek challenge. But after seeing this title, oh, I am definitely starting today!

My new craving is a movie house pop corn – hot, butter, cheese, and Coke! Diet issue, can’t drink coke 😦 Happy thoughts, I always like crepe with nutella & banana 🙂

That’s easy – it would be the peach my daughter left behind in the fridge in Vernazza (Italy) last July … the one I was going to eat on the long train ride to Milan.
But a flippant posting is not appropriate today – I’ll be putting up some words written by a journalist in Christchurch who was in one the the buildings that suffered massive damage during Tuesday’s devastating earthquake.

Does water count? Because I’m mad thirsty right now. If it doesn’t count, then I would eat ice.

A home cooked meal by my grandmother. She died back in the early 90’s and I just adored her. When she went grocery shopping she would buy a bag of Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies just for me. That was so sweet of her. A meal and a chat with her right about now would be ideal.

I would eat a bowl of my mother’s “hamburger soup,” which I think was a desperation meal when there wasn’t enough of any of the ingredients to make something else. It had water, onion, potato, salt, pepper and a bit of fatty hamburger boiled together. If I could eat it with my mom, it would be the best meal of my life.

Olá para todos, eu adoro doces, eu comeria agora um chocolate sem recheio. Só para sentir o sabor do chocolate amargo que é muito bom.
Abraços a todos!

I’m modest. Stuffed tomatoes, potatoes and cream cheese. But the guest at my table is no one less than WWE Diva Beth Phoenix.
I don’t know if she like women, but I have a little crush on her. =)

At least three hot glazed Krispy Kreme donuts. A burrito bowl from Chipotle. A gyro from the Marietta Diner. And since two of these places are still open and less than three minutes from my house, I’m going to bed now.

A medium rare, twelve ounce prime rib and a draft of Sam Adams, with Bill Clinton. Followed by two or three aroma-rich fine brandies. Superb!

I like this post ideal. I participated and my dinner guest would be a time traveler named Abraham Lincoln.

I invited Charles Dickens, Robert Capa (photographer and photojournalist) and the Egyptian activist Wael Ghonim. Gordon Ramsay will be the chef, if he promises not to yell. I’ll leave the menu to him. In the meantime, I’ll grab a burger at McDonald’s or some Swedish meatballs at IKEA. Gosh, I’m so hungry.

Anything? Right now?
I would love a huge slice from that pie of humility. If it could be, then I’d know that life is about more than conquering our immediate world; the small questions we sweat for appearance. If I could have that piece I’d understand that we all meet our end – sooner or later – with bodies stiff with mortis and the fatal wish for cheesecake in heaven.
