  1. Great job thanks for the motivation. It is working and I am actually getting further then I ever have. The year is young though and hopefully I will be able to make a similar post at the end of the year.

  2. Thank you for the badges. I’m writing a poem a day, so I usually don’t follow the recommended themes, but I am enjoying the challenge!

    1. Not sure how to post the code without it converting to HTML, so here is what to change to get the Postaday2001 badge.

      1. Copy and paste the code listed above.
      2. Leave the first line (a href) alone.
      3. In the img title line, change “postaweek-badge” to “postaday-badge-wide”
      4. In the src line change “https://dailypost.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/postaday-badge-big.png” to “https://dailypost.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/postaday-badge-wide.png” (or right click the image and select copy link and past it over the other link)

That should work for the wide badge which I saw you were using on your site.

  3. Done!

(By the way, for anybody who wishes to open the link in a new window or remove the border, use the text widget instead of the image widget and add in your own target and/or border tags.)

  4. I am seriously confused as to how to do this. I have had a Nablopomo badge up with no problem. Where do I find the code for the different badges? Can I upload the badge to my media library? Help!?!

    1. Easiest way I found to do it is to right click on the image you want and save it to your computer then upload it to your media library. Grab the url once uploaded and using the widget add it as in image in your sidebar. Give that a try, I did mine that way with no problems. 🙂

  5. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! My blog is wearing it proudly. I added it as a text and was happy to see it automatically linked back to this site. Double YaY: YaY! YaY!
