Bonus topic: you only have an hour to live

As a bonus topic for the day, here’s an interesting one:

If you only had an hour to live, what what you do with those 60 minutes?

(You’d get an extra 5 minutes to post about the 60 minutes on your blog of course).

      1. Hi Scott,

You recently asked us for a list of suggestions for the Post A Day challenge. Is WordPress going to publish a list of those suggestions, in addition to the 2011 Topic List?

        Keep up the good work.

  1. Hi. I have a request. I just started this post a week blog challenge for 2011, and would really love it if there’s a sticky post keeping tap on what all the suggested topics posted so far. I know this will really help when it gets to be post#110 and people may want to see what suggested topics were for post #1-10 for example. Thank you so much!

  2. 60 minutes! + 5 of course… 🙂 When you’re sitting at your desk or laying in bed, can think calmly but I think it’s like one of those situations when someone asks you, “you’re walking and a car is headed in your direction full speed, how’d you react?” Unless you’re in that moment yourself, its hard to accurately say how you’d react. When I do in advance of my last hour to live, I would prolly call/email/txt as many people as I can and show my gratitude for their presence in my life….but I would limit this to 15 minutes… not yet thought about how I’d spend the rest of my 45 minutes! What’s the fun in planning it all out until the last minute anyway, right!? 🙂

    Scott, what would you do?

  3. While these ideas may be stimulating, why don’t we have alternatives that touch on current affairs in business, politics, sports and society?

  4. Oh man. I have just come onto The Daily Post to link to my post about taking a break from this challenge for a little while. I live in Brisbane, Australia and our communities are being devestated by major flooding right now. This topic, while I would ordinarily think it was a fun idea, has a stomach-twisting effect on me right now!

  5. I have 60 minutes. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, I would hug & Kiss all my family members, Kiss my Pets, because they are also my family, tell everyone I will see them in Heaven someday, and then serve myself one huge piece of
    of my Raspberry Cheesecake, Yummmmmmmmmm!

  6. My suggestion: I would like to see the posts on topic separated from those that are unrelated. I think the topics taxes our creativity and I am most interested in meeting that challenge and reading the responses others make. Now I have to wade through advertizing for individual blogs, some of which are great, but not what I am interested in. I don’t think it would be too hard to set up. I wonder if others agree.

  7. I didn’t sign up for the challenge — I post at least twice weekly, so I didn’t need the Post-A-Week challenge, and with twin toddler sons, I just don’t think I can commit to Post-A-Day. But I’ve been receiving the topics, and they’re very helpful — I’m finding I can usually massage them to make them work for me, even though my blog is about Math Jokes. I was rather proud of my latest post; thought I’d share!
