Topic: who deserves more credit?

Topic #2  (just 363 to go!).

These are entirely optional – if you don’t like it, no problem. Post something else. Or post about why you don’t like this topic, or the topic you wish we’d mentioned here. It’s all good.

Here’s today’s topic idea – brought to you by Plinky:

Name someone who deserves more credit than they get. And for bonus points, how to change things so they get more (pssst: blogging itself is a way to give people more credit)

If this suggestion doesn’t fit your blog’s general topic (e.g. Your blog is about hyperactive dancing miniature french poodles that only eat swiss cheese), that’s ok. Simply ask “Who in your world or profession is under-appreciated? ”

(Reminder: Do not answer this in the comments. That would be very silly. You should grab this topic and write a post about it on your blog).

  1. Very nice, but I think the suggestion for how to personalize it for your particular blog topic is left over from yesterday’s topic. Unless you’re talking about which countries are underrated 😉

  3. Great idea for a post topic. It’s one of those things that everyone can answer, and you’re almost bound to get a million and one different answers. Fantastic.

  5. I have started a blog that goes along with PostaDay. It is called One Challenge A Day. Everyday I will pose a challenge to both myself and my readers–something that I hope will make us grow as writers, as comics, as friends, as professionals, and mostly as people. This is an attempt to allow life to push me or pull me where ever it pleases while always remembering about the importance, the opportunity, the inspiration that each day has the potential to bring.

Just like The Daily Post challenges, I will be posting everyday. But each post will have a challenge of its own. Check it out if you get a chance.

    1. What a wonderful idea.
Other bloggers can probably get some ideas from you.
Don’t forget to tag your posts with postaday2011 if you’re in on the WordPress challenge.

  7. This is a great idea. I am excited to start the post a day challenge. Can’t wait to see future ideas.

I have taken this idea of ‘Who deserves more credit’ and wrote my article about another blogger named ‘Emanuele Feronato’ he is a great programmer and person who doesn’t really expect much in return. He shares his knowledge and expertise so that way everyone can benefit from it. Anyway, check out the post here http://www.tonylea.com/2011/who-deserves-more-credit-emanuele-feronato/

  8. I am really liking your ideas. Will be using some of them in my blog soon! Can I make my own suggestion for an idea? I have used it for the second day of my challenge:

“If you could change three things about yourself, either things you like into things you don’t like or vice-versa, what would they be?”

  9. I almost write everyday in my blog (please see my blog :)). But, I don’t know, I think this program needs lots of corrections

PS: Hey, what happen with Daily Post’s Twitter account? Please, don’t make a Twitter account if you can’t handle and answer our question via Twitter.

Anyway, whoever takes the credit, it doesn’t matter to me now I just realized anyone who blog, is also a learning tool for those who have a broken English like me;-( haha and also what is important is that by contributing thoughts and any whereabouts in life and in general, makes anybody be a better person!

Well, thank U word press & my co members for this opportunity and I know we can make it at the long run. Good luck to all and yeah let’s do it;-)

    It still costs doesn’t it??

  12. I started blogging this year only(that’s like 2 days) and I think DailyPost is a great experiment and will, most probably, be successful. In fact, I see many of my friends tagging their posts with postAday2011/postAweek2011. I too had a post about “Who Deserves More Credit?”
So, DailyPost is a nice tool to help people keep going.

  13. I think some people still don’t get, that these topics are just inspirations for those people who aren’t as creative as others in finding topics for their posts. So don’t worry about not posting something about countries you like to go or people who deserve more credit, just post once a day and it’s ok.

    1. Johanna, you are so right. I was about to post a similar comment. There are a lot of new blogs being set up just for the challenge because I guess some bloggers don’t want to mix the suggested topics into their blogs where they are off-topic.
      Good luck with the challenge.

  14. I think this might be the greatest idea in the history of the blogosphere. I’m loving this so much, even if I’m not following the suggested topics. If one comes up though that really takes my fancy, i’ll make a second post! http://bit.ly/eG4hgi

    1. This came along at just the right time for me. People are getting too hung up on the suggested topics when they have a perfectly good blog going that they just have to pledge to either a postaday2011 or a postaweek2011.
      Good luck with the challenge!
