I am liking the Nucleare theme so far, it is good to have more free classic/general purpose/balanced/traditional/et cetera themes, it is one of the best free theme’s of 2015 so far in my opinion (the default body font could be a bit bigger though (maybe one or two sizes larger), but at least the default font is a readable font which helps); thank you for adding this theme.

Long image captions glitch across the theme so it would be nice to have that fixed, and it would be nice to have post timestamps when hovering the cursor over the post date; other than that things seem pretty good so far, but I will try to report more things to the support staff as I find them.

    Keep up the good work,
    -John Jr

Takashi Irie must be capable of reading my mind – I would immediately switch to Afterlight if I had a text-only blog. Nice theme!

Afterlight is absolutely amazing! The one thing that would make it perfect is if I could see the post’s image in the category. I used it anyway.

Nucleare seems a bit…you know, same old, same old. It’s still very pretty though! 😀

Just switched to Afterlight. I like a minimalist theme and it works wonderfully. Very nice on mobile as well!

Nucleare is simply brilliant by the fact you can make so much more of it. Switched to it right away.

I’ve been playing around a bit with Nucleare, and I notice if I apply the featured colour palette with the dark background, the text of the tag cloud widget becomes completely illegible. I’m not crazy about the custom header and title appearing underneath the menu, but I suppose I’m just a traditionalist as far as that’s concerned. I like that it uses a bit more screen space with a larger maximum image display size, while still maintaining the more traditional blog layout. I’m not convinced to leave my beloved Twenty-Eleven yet, but it’s close this time.

The Afterlight is really a cool one

Lovely theme, just switched to it!

I do wish, however, that the “Read More” link would show up directly after the post text instead of at the very bottom. For example, if you choose to display Sharing buttons, they all show up above “Read More”, which can make it seem like there is no more text to read.

Nucleare looks pretty cool. I always enjoy seeing what new themes come out and all the various ways you can change them up. Always never ending options to make your blog your own.

Mostly love Nucleare and have already activated it…BUT:

    1. When I changed the Palette to the one with the reddish color in it, everything changed correctly EXCEPT the color of the tags in my Tag Cloud widget.

    2. Setting up the Social Links menu above the Header is confusing, and then, after doing all the work, it bumped the Search down below it, widening the white field above the header in a very unpleasant way. I already have a text widget for social media links at the top of my sidebar, so I simply removed the Social Links menu from above the header, but I assume that some folks would prefer to use the Social Links menu that Nucleare offers.

    Afterlight looks classy. Well done!

I really liked Nucleare. I just noticed that there’s too much white space above if you have many social buttons (since they wrap in new lines and the search button on another) and there’s a sizable gap between the header image and the first post. The full screen search screen in a bit overwhelming in my opinion and tables I think would’ve been better if the border wasn’t shown by default. Nevertheless, this is the first recent theme that I’m actually considering to switch to. I hope to see more themes similar to this! Good job! 🙂
