New Themes: Editor and Sequential
Introducing Editor and Sequential: now available on WordPress.com.
Today, we have two new free themes ready for you!
Editor
Meet Editor, a new addition to our theme collection designed by Mike McAlister at Array. Geared toward personal bloggers and photo bloggers, Editor features big typography and images and a tab-based sidebar with a spot for featured posts, a site logo, and a social links menu. Editor makes it easy to put a personal stamp on your site or blog.
Learn more about the free Editor theme at the Theme Showcase, or preview it by going to Appearance → Themes.
Sequential
Crafted by Thomas Guillot, Sequential is a contemporary, clean, and multi-purpose business theme.
Sequential offers three custom page templates — including a few Front Page Template options — to customize your business, corporate, or professional site. In addition to other features, like a Social Icons menu and the ability to upload a Site Logo, you can also choose from several default color palettes.

Uh question but doesn’t WP support source sans pro?

Source Sans Pro is a font available in our Upgrades, like WordPress.com Premium and WordPress.com Business. It also happens to be one of the fonts used in Editor.

I’m already using the new theme, Editor, to promote my upcoming art book, #Selfie.
I have a question/problem though: The theme showcase says that the social links menu supports Linkedin, but when I add my linkedin url, the social icon it generates looks a coded mess. Why can’t it generate the correct Linkedin social icon, like it does for Twitter, for example?

Hi H.G.!
Thank you for catching that! That was a bug, and it should be fixed now. Happy blogging!

Thank you for the free themes! ❤ Theme Thursdays are my favourites! I'm using Goran, and Sequential looks like a theme along these lines, which I love. Arg, you're making me want to change my theme again…

Thanks for the new blog theme designs. I especially like Editor, though I’ll stick with the theme I now use, and improve its appearance.
