Smile: Our New Emoticons Have Arrived!
We just gave our emoticons a loving redesign. Check them out: they’re sure to bring a smile to your face.
Fan of smileys? ๐ We are. That’s why we just redesigned them to be cleaner, simpler, bigger, more expressive, and modern.

These new smileys are actually vector graphics, so they’ll stay crisp if you zoom in on your page. They’ll also stay sharp on high-resolution mobile displays.

To find out how to use an emoticon appearing in this post, just hover over it and you’ll see which characters produce it. We’re working on expanding our collection, so stay tuned for more smiley fun.

If you’re not a fan of smileys, that’s okay! You can always turn them off and on in your dasbhoard under Settings โย Writing. We hope you’ll have fun with these. Smile!

I would really love that it would be possible to post emojis like paws and all the others that I use whwn I use my phones keyboard, all the ones who are compatible with Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and so on…

These are awful! You can hardly tell the difference between a grin, a twisted or an evil. The wink and the smile are almost exactly the same. And the ones that used to move don’t any more – the blush and the eyeroll. I do wish WP would stop changing things that work – or at least give us a choice about accepting changes. The look of my blog (where I use smileys as a rating sytem) has been ruined by this change. I sometimes wonder whose blog it is – mine or yours?

When I only use one โค it does not turn into the emoticon on my blog.

Looks like the space before the < is garbled. Try deleting that line and typing it in by hand again.

To be honest I kinda miss the old “lol” emote.
It was animated and really expressed me laughing better than a giant tooth grin ๐ฆ lol

Overall, I like them a lot! โค I miss the animated ones, though; the animated ๐ and ๐ฅ were more expressive to me than the static ones we have now. I also miss the grinning devil smiley, I loved that one. But otherwise, I'm happy. ๐
I second the suggestion of a legend on the dashboard, though, that would be great!

Does there a support page for showing up ALL smiles code? I am not good at coding, if there is a list of Smiles when i writing post, i will help me a lot to add Smiles into my post.

The new smileys scale with the text. The larger the text, the larger the smiley.
