Ich habe im Rahmen meinen Praktikums eine Möglichkeit gesucht ein Forum in einer Wordpressinstallation zu nutzen. Gefunden habe ich Simple:Press Forum. Eins vorweg. Ich bin imPressed. Really!

Gehen wir mal davon aus, dass du ein Konzept für dein Forum hast. Das heißt,

  • du weißt realistisch einzuschätzen wer/welche was in dein Forum schreiben sollte, und warum im Anschluss darüber gesprochen wird.
  • du hast für Diskussionen und Meinungsbilder die Kommentarfunktion deines Webseite (Weblog) bereits soweit ausgereizt, dass es sich auch lohnt, die vielfältige Kommunikation in ein "Einzelzimmer" zu verlegen.
  • deine Leserinnen oder die Hauptakteurinnen deiner Community sind sehr netzaffin, aktiv und mitteilungsbedürftig

Wenn du diese kurzen Punkte mit "Ja" beantworten kannst, dann kann es auch schon losgehen:

  1. Download des Simple Press Forum
  2. Datei entpacken und per FTP in den entsprechenden Ordner legen ("wp-content/plugins")
  3. Plugin aktivieren
  4. In deiner Administrationsoberfläche erscheint nun ein neuer Reiter "Forum". Bitte drauf klicken und dann auf der nächsten Seite "Installieren" drücken.
  5. entsprechende deutsche Sprachdatei herunterladen und per FTP in den entsprechenden Ordner legen ("wp-content/plugins/simple-forum/languages")
  6. Fertig

Das deutschsprachige Forum ist jetzt über eine gesonderte statische Seite (z.B. Forum) erreichbar.

Zwei Dinge waren für mich am Anfang schwierig:

  • So viele Einstellungen! Was soll ich tun?
    Lesen. Alle Einstellungen haben mindestens einen englischen Erklärungstext. Diesen solltest du unbedingt nutzen. Darüber hinaus hilft das alte Versuchen und Fehler-Prinzip (Try and Error) und das Forum auf der Simple Press Forums Seite. (alles auf Englisch)
  • Wie kann ich einen Eintrag schreiben?
    Das hat eine ganze Weile gedauert, bis ich darauf gekommen bin. Die Administrationsleiste ist von Anfang an zu sehen. Ich habe geglaubt schon das Forum zu sehen. Aber nein, erst muss im Adminbereich eine Forumsgruppe angelegt werden, dann noch ein Forum. Wenn ihr dann wieder auf eure Seite geht, könnt ihr das eigentliche Forum sehen. Hier könnt ihr schreiben, antworten und diskutieren.

Die Installation von Simple:Press Forum ist gewohnt einfach. Die Einstellungen sind zwar vielfältig aber gut erklärt. Die Hürde ein eigenes Forum zu betreiben, welches direkt an mein Blog angebunden ist (auch Benutzerinnenverwaltungstechnisch), ist also auch für Nicht-Informatikerinnen (mich eingeschlossen) locker überwindbar. Wenn du schon mal ein Plugin bei Wordpress installiert hast, stellt das hier auch kein Problem dar.

Morgen arbeite ich die Vorteile nocheinmal raus - jetzt gehe ich Zwiebeln schneiden :)

Con ello puedes mejorar el espacio de almacenamiento o aumentar el nuemero de usuarios. Tambien puedes hacer regalo de creditos a medida de donacion para aquellos usuarios que tengan blogs que te agraden demaciado.

Para realizar la compra de dichos creditos, una vez que estes dentro del editor de tu blog. Te vas a la pestaña con el nombre mejoras.

Posteriormente podras seleccionar el servicio que deseas adquirir y seras redireccionado a Paypal para que ingreses el dinero que se convertira en creditos de Worpress.

Bueno ahora ya sabes para que son los dichosos creditos de wordpress; asi que no habria problema alguno si comienzas a utilzarlos regalando unos creditos a este blog.:P
