Victoria Beckham said that she doesn’t want any no more children than she already has. She and her husband aren’t trying at all, and she just enjoy to eat some specific food this days…but that doesn’t mean that she is pregnant!
About her kitchen skils she said: “I’m very good at lasagna and spaghetti Bolognese! I don’t eat them myself because I’m vegetarian. But for David the night before a game, it’s good to make sure he has protein and carbohydrate! I’m very good at ‘Dora The Explorer’ cupcakes too – out of a packet!”.
She stoped the rumor about her pregnancy, and express gladness for her kids: “I’m not pregnant, and I’m not trying to get pregnant at the moment! I’m so lucky to have the boys and they’re such great kids. Nice, free spirits and incredibly polite, which I think is very important! It takes a lot of energy, and the thought of having another baby now would be a little bit much. Maybe in a year or two but right now, I’m having amazing career opportunities and I want to enjoy the boys!”
By the way, the Beckham couple has 3 sons,Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz.

Potentially heavy topic for what (here) is a gorgeous day that will have me fleeing the house shortly to go bask in it.  I don't want to be a downer, but I don't mind stirring the pot when it comes to issues that come into play with the Boys' ever evolving career. Besides caring about them, I find it fascinating in a meta sort of way.

First, I must admit that I don't regularly engage with the greater Jonas fan population anymore, now that it is too large to get a real bead on, so maybe I am way behind in noticing this particular trend...but with the Guys away in Europe, it seemed to be a little bit of a down week in Jonas news, thanks to personal life rumors and a rare gaffe (or just another media distortion, depending on your perspective).  And this time it caught my eye...

Case in point, and a ton of questions, after the jump!

It's never been unusual to find, if you for some reason wanted to, people slamming the Jonases for one reason or another...but the thing I've been noticing, and wondering if any of you have too, is a growing handful supposed fans has seemed - to me - to seize upon the opportunity to turn on them, loudly.  Which makes me wonder whether this is a natural side effect of being a teen idol, or what.  Since they signed up with Hollywood Records, there have always been a few fan casualties, with every rung up the ladder they move.

But the latest surge of disapproval comes with more complexity.  When earlier this week an online British rag reported the Boys' supposed contribution to the Bebo "Message from Earth" project as being Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham representing some kind of feminine ideal, the response (in the news item itself, and subsequent syndication on JonasBrothersFan.com, JustJared and Oceanup) was swift and pretty brutal. People were not pleased to see them select someone of her body type.  At all.

I actually think it is somewhat fair and comforting that there are girls out there who pick up on these things and speak out on them, since body image and eating disorder issues are so potentially pernicious among this type of fanbase.

So...do you believe the details of the Posh report in the first place?  But how do you feel about pegging the Jonases as being promoters of such behavior?  Is that fair?

Furthermore, many (ex?) fans cited this as definitive proof that they have changed and been consumed heart and soul by the showbiz machine and betrayed the way they were. (I, for one, am not at all convinced that they are contradicting any previous preferences and aspirations stated or practiced by any of them.)

But...I am, as always, at least a little skeptical.  I tried to sleuth, and the only supporting proof I could find was this UK Camp Rock premiere footage in which (context of a question removed, but fairly obvious) Nick suggests Anne Hathaway for the capsule, Joe names [recently befriended Briton] Victoria Beckham, and Kevin agrees on both counts.  No one, in this particular video, says the words "perfect body of a woman".  Until I see that, I won't be entirely convinced they qualified the idea to that extent...still, I would hate to think I was being a defender of a damaging mindset just because I adore the Boys. But in such situations it is hard for me not to look at them as much as victims of the status quo, in this regard, as the fangirls who look on expectantly.

They are so young, and it seems normal enough to me.  Does that mean it's excusable? Are they obligated to pander to their fanbase, here? Should they be expected to handle every single social issue with perfect aplomb? (Okay, that last one was a bit of a rhetorical question.)

So do you think the body-image story is worth the minor furor it has caused? Do you give them the benefit of the doubt for their answers to these questions, or care? Do you think such things have a real impact on the fanbase or are an indicator of a fanbase backlash?  And is it bad enough to merit them addressing this directly?

The Jonas Brothers have chosen Victoria Beckham as the person they'd most like to send in to space because “she would show aliens the perfect body of a woman.” What? What? WHAT? So the boys are saying the perfect woman has fake tits and anorexic limbs? Couldn't they have picked a real woman like Eva Mendes or Scarlett Johansson. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Posh, but to say she has the perfect body, at least coming from guys, is a tad bit shocking.

The Bronases chose the former Spice Girl as part of the social network site Bebo project called A Message From Earth, a digital time capsule which will beamed into space from the National Space Agency in the Ukraine.

Since Victoria as in Beckham was seen wearing the baggy boyfriend cut jeans on a visit to a zoo recently sales of this type of jeans has increased. 

Teamed with a casual t-shirt she looks relaxed and comfortable (for a change!) no heels and she has worn some really silly shoes recently. Well they were in fact boots. Shoes like these which have mixed reviews, personally they are the silliest things I have seen in a long time.  Anyway back to the boyfriend jeans.

Thats a lot of money.  Katie has been seen regularly wearing the Boyfriend-style jeans since relocating to New York. Holmes favorite style flew off the shelves before Prps could even “officially” launch their line.  Teamed with a simple t-shirt and over shirt she too looks relaxed.

This brand is not new to the celebrities that we all love and adore such as David Beckham, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Tom Brady, who have been wearing these jeans for a long time.

Good Morning my style-oriented readers !

Once Again, I do apologize for keeping this blog up to no date at all these past weeks and I thank you all for your wonderful patience. Nevertheless, Vanitymirror is once again up and running with your number 1 illegal stylist. It is time to recap a little of the forever-changing events of fashion.

1. Fashion Week in Paris for Spring 2009 is over and is certainly a great core for artistic style inspiration. (I'll get back to you on that).
2. Dita Von Teese to make her own line of lingerie (how very surprising...)
3. Victoria "Posh" Beckham is running around with obscene and not to mention hideous shoes, trying to, once again, start a new fashion trend by wearing Universe High Heeled shoes...without Heels! ( We love your hair but please don't think you can make us run around thinking Deer-season is "in").
4. Key word for this autumn season: MYSTERIOUS. (I'll get back to you on that too.)
5. Lindsay Lohan to be front figure for Fornarinas upcoming fashion campaign, apparently because she is, and I quote: "Talented, goal-oriented and a "bad girl". "
   
6. Well, I don't really know if this is news...But Paris Hilton is launching her own clothing line. Guess what color the clothes are? Yeah...pink...
7. Last but certainly not least for this fashion update: Soon you'll be able to shop bags and accessories from the hard-to-get collection TokiDoki For LeSportSac on this very blog! Handpicked by yours truly, and of course I made sure my readers get the best price for it too! Phew, Paris fashion week, and what a week it had been, models fainting because the corsettes where too tight, designers expressing their political views on the runway...Anyway, a very reappearing trend from many designers where short skirts with long trails, really long trails. Hats and headbands all over the place and really high heels. Very colorful and flowery as usual during spring fashion, but I liked that there was a significant amount of subtle colours such as beige and brown. Since there is a political campaign still going strong in the US, many seem to have favoured the Business-chic look, which I just can't get enough of by the way. Favorite runway shows where Chanel and UNGARO. Simply gorgeous!

Now us BRITS are no longer surprised when we see Victoria Beckham out like this, its just a normal part of our day!
