Với những ai chưa biết qua Tsubasa: Phải bạn không lầm đâu, đó chính thật là Yuuko của chúng ta. TVs của xxxHOLIC đã luôn lược bỏ những gì dính đến Tsubasa. Thật ra hai bộ manga xxxHOLIC và Tsubasa Chronicle là hai bộ liên kết chặc chẽ với nhau (dĩ nhiên không nhất thiết phải coi hết cả hai mới hiểu nổi cả hai)

Sơ lược nội dung:

Nhở phép thuật của Fay mà nhóm Syaoran thoát chết và vượt không gian đến một đất nước khác. Fay nhanh chóng nhận thấy họ đã đáp xuống một đất nước điêu tàn nơi chỉ có những tàn tích đỗ nát. Sau khi kiếm được một chỗ lí tưởng để tránh cơn mưa axít bên ngoài, nhóm người họ nhận thấy nơi này không an toàn như họ nghĩ. Tại đây họ đối đầu với một nhóm người gọi họ là những kẻ trộm nước và Syaoran bị trúng tên vào chân. Cũng trong lúc đó, công chúa Sakura vẫn chìm trong giấc ngủ. Trong giấc ngủ của cô, có ai đó vẫn mãi cố đánh thức cô dậy với lí do :"Nếu cô không mau tỉnh giấc, người quan trọng nhất của cô sẽ..."

3 OVA này là phần nối tiếp với TVs của Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNICLE được dựng lên từ bộ manga hiện đang rất được yêu thích cùng tên của nhóm Clamp. Đúng như cái tên, 3 OVA này bao trọn phần Tokyo trong manga. Có lẽ đối tượng của nó là cho những fan Tsubasa. Nếu các bạn chưa bao giờ biết đến Tsubasa có lẽ sẽ thấy hơi rối một chút. Nhưng cũng không quá cần thiết phải xem Tvs nó mới nên xem OVA này.

Đối với những ai đã quá quen thuộc với X1999 của Clamp thì khỏi nói cũng nhận thấy rằng phần này bao trọn toàn bộ hệ thống nv trong X1999 và cuộc chiến giữa hai bên Rồng Trời và Rồng Đất (có điều trong này cuộc chiến này không đập nhau đến mức sống chết như trong X1999). Nói chung được nhìn thấy những nv rất X1999 và họ có vẻ thật vui vẻ cũng thấy có chút thú vị.

Tsubasa có một hệ thống nhân vật vô cùng đồ sộ (dĩ nhiên vì Clamp kéo hầu như gần hết con cái họ từ những tác phẩm về trước vào đây) Điểm này là một điểm rất thú vị cho những fan của Clamp.

-Sakura finally gets exposed to something that actually endangered her life. She actually journeyed alone and found not only the physical pain of journeying and running from lost battles, but also the emotional pain of seeing firsthand how those mysterious feathers of hers are affecting the people in the other dimensions. Let's face it people, she was pretty much a burden during the first few volumes because she's just a magnet for trouble but at least now, she's doing something. And she's doing something now because she CAN.

It's also a bit heart breaking to see someone like her to break like that -when the Syaoran she has been traveling with isn't actually the original "Syaoran". It's hard to see her struggling over what or even who to believe now. She's more confused than ever but at least now, she's much more determined.

I love how even her character has some development. It's a bit rare to see a main character like Sakura get any character development because they just seem to be made perfect.

-The relationship between Fai and Kurogane has improved so much, I can't imagine what would happen if they separate. Kurogane has come to care so much about Fai so much that he was willing to do anything to save him. He was willing to become Fai's "game" to keep him alive. He made a deal with the witch -a person he has never trusted- just to keep Fay breathing. I adore the relationship they have.

And we see now that Fai is breaking down, too. His usual care-free and smile-y attitude is slowly deteriorating. He's showing his weakness only to find that it's those weaknesses that make him stronger -especially with Kurogane always by his side. I'm happy to see that Fai trusts Kurogane to keep him alive. Hitsuzen, indeed.

-Syaoran must be hurting a lot. When I say Syaoran, I mean the original one, because he's the one who's supposed to be Sakura's knight in shining armor but it just wasn't him. Sure he may be back now, but can he fix the damage that has already been inflicted -especially now since there's another Syaoran running wild and bloodthirsty for the feathers through the other dimensions? And how are they supposed to feel comfortable with him when every memory they've had, the original Syaoran only saw through that eye of his?

What I'm worried about him now is what will happen to him and Sakura?

It's a manga series worth collecting. It's one worth waiting for. Don't worry that it's going too long, or some volumes are just getting too boring because now things are shaping up into scenarios when anything can happen. I mean, Syaoran just gorged Fai's eye out. How can you tell me you were expecting that?

The art is still as beautifully consistent as ever.

The plot is wonderful.

The development is simply amazing.

Whoa... Just when I blabbed without thought about the possibility of an OAD, it's odd that it will actually come true. I reckon this will be done in a different fashion than Tokyo Revelations in which the HOLiC OAD is planned to have only two parts - the zenpen (前編)/initial part, and kouhen (後編)/latter part, similar to the Aa! Megami-sama ~Tatakau Tsubasa~ special if you've seen that. This is pure speculation on my side as the info is still very new. Good news may have it, we may even end up with more than 2 episodes. The first volume accompanies Volume 14 of the ×××HOLiC Manga as a limited edition DVD, and will be released on January 16, 2009. The figureheads involved in the project are CLAMP's Ohkawa Nanase (screenplay writer and possibly executive producer for the OAD), Mizushima Tsutomu (×××HOLiC director) and Tada Shunsuke (Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations director); the latter two's roles are unknown but I assume Director Mizushima will be the lead in handling the main directing whilst Director Tada may take up the task of being episode director and storyboard artist. Cast members are the usual group. Animation will be done by Production I.G., hopefully the high budget team.

What I'm curious about is how they're going to approach this OAD. A Manga adaptation like Tokyo Revelations, with most of the Tsubasa references intact? Or a whole new original animation story? It'll be interesting if they took the Tokyo Revelations path by setting aside everything that has happened in the Anime, and went ahead with using some of the older stories that were not featured in the TV series. The crossover with the Dream World arc from Tsubasa could be a good candidate, but that would probably mean redoing the Kohane arc. Or they could use the pure HOLiC only ones, which are kind of limited in numbers. With HOLiC Anime's current situation, it'll be very tough to produce a proper TV series sequel for it since every Tsubasa crossover was left out in the last two seasons, so it may be the best way to continue, and perhaps end the series with an OAD.

We'll have to wait and see. :)

EDIT: Based on the latest news, Tsubasa will be getting an OAD sequel with the zenpen volume released on February 2009 together with Volume 26 of the Manga, a month after HOLiC's zenpen release, which means Director Tada being listed in the staff credits would suggest that he handles the main directing for the Tsubasa side of the story. In other words, the possibility of a crossover and reference between the two series is very high.

She's so cute when she's little

First of all, Asuna FINALLY met with Negi again in chapter 214. But, she's remembering more and more of her memories and mistakes him for Nagi. Again. Ah, i forgot, this is Negima for those of you who don't know.

In the 104th chapter of To-love-ru (yes, there are girls who read that) there's a big twist. But don't worry, there's still no plot whatsoever.

One of the greatest confessions of all time

In Karin chapter 36 (AKA chibi vampire), the long awaited confession is here! And it's every bit of gushy and sweet and dramatic as one can hope for. Anzu also gets a confession from a boy, but she simply brushes it off and just uses the boy as an excuse to follow Karin on her date.

Don't worry, a cute girl like this? She can't hurt a fly..

Onisarashi, one of the mangas for Higurashi no naku koro ni, has finally been translated completely. And having read it, I have to say that the story was simply too sad. Just when you think that everyone will have happiness, something unimaginably bad happens to them and they are torn away from that small shred chance of normal life. However, the story is extremely well written and is to be recommended to anyone who isn't afraid of blood.

Isn't he cute? Who cares if he's filthy rich, deals with crime lords, and made a pack with the devil, he's cute!

In ch.3 of kuroshitsuj, we see more of the butler's bad side, and of course, the main reason for reading this manga, the adorableness of the main character, continues to shine as he is kidnapped by a drug lord.

In the latest chapters of Tsubasa and XXXholic, CLAMP's foreshadowing yet MORE plot twists. Right now it's kind of a calm before the storm, and when they come back from their latest hiatus, we have to be expected to be screwed with giant OMG moments, again.

I like Christina (the blond one) better

In chapters 12 and 13 of Shina Dark, the drama continues to pile on as we see more of Garlet's past and people in the town start to have more and more fights with each other. There's an extremely powerful monster near the town and everyone's going to try and get rid of it. However, the first attack failed. But, Christina finally gets herself together and shows her talent as a strategist. This needs to be turned into an anime, really. Great plot, beautiful art, Anyone should be able to like this series.

DNAngel is here! Finally, the hiatus is over. In volume 12 (the latest chapter is stage 3 chapter 20), we finally find out what Dark and Krad are: an incomplete artwork that had absorbed the souls of its creator and its thief. Risa is trying to help her kidnapper come to terms with his love for another incomplete piece of artwork, who happens to be a young girl, frozen in both time and body. Satoshi reveals that he is dying. I have to say that I sorely missed this series, and that the art is as good as ever!

Deidara here, with the best news ever!

I've just started uploading Anime Episodes on YouTube, ranging from Hoshi no Kaabii to Tsubasa Chronicle. These are my first two projects, and once they are complete, I will start uploading FullMetal Alchemist, (perhaps) Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, and etc. So just wait and see!

But Tsubasa : RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE has been too much of a chronicle. I love it, the story is great. But too many confusions. Too many clones and reals. I was baffled enough by the Clone Syaoran and the Real Syaoran. Here comes the Clone Sakura and the Real Sakura. My mind is going to blow. And Fye lost his eye.

Whatever it is, I'll be racking my brains trying to figure out what actually happened. And apparently the Syaoran and Sakura from CCS is some parent to some Real Syaoran and Sakura and Nadeshiko and Fujitaka Kinomoto are something to something. o_O IT'S TOO CONFUSING!

Apparently CLAMP's imagination has gone beyond the abilities of the normal human mind. Anyways, they still rock! And they will always rock! Long live Tsubasa!!!!

One of my all-time favourites since venturing into unescapable world of otakuness. This manga is the work of the queens of the manga industry : CLAMP. This manga has given me the imagination no other fantasy manga has ever given me.  This anime has given me my love for Yuki Kajiura's OSTs. This manga/anime, has introduced me to a very very good pal of mine, Oniichan, and through Oniichan, I have been introduced to my fellow legions of anime lovers in my school.

Yes, after many many feathers, arcs and crossovers, this manga is still going strong. Currently being serialized in Shounen Magazine, published by Kodansha, this was adapted into a 52-episode anime series, consisting over two seasons (animated by Bee Train). There was also an animated film, Gekijōban Tsubasa Kuronikuru Torikago no Kuni no Himegimi. And not to mention soundtracks and drama CDs and a song book. And a few fanbooks and artbooks too. Did I mention about the three-episode Tsubasa : Tokyo Revelations OVA?

So far I have volumes 1,2,6,7,8,13,14, as well as a few Chinese-translatied tankoubons within my reach (in my grandmother's room). Some of them were bought by my aunt (I can't thank you enough!). Now I am trying to get my hands on the original Japanese tankoubons, but I can't seem to get the chance to go and venture into the Store of Kii Province (Kinokuniya, duh!).

I think one factor that makes this series so exciting is the suspense and adventures in it. Plus all the crossovers from other works of CLAMP. The main crossover in Tsubasa : RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE is xxxHOLiC.  Even the animated film was held in conjunction of xxxHOLiC  movie, Gekijōban Horikku Manatsu no Yoru no Yume.

My favourite arc in the Tsubasa manga is the Outo-Edonisu arc. There's really no exact word to describe it. And Seishirou is in it. My favourite character? I'm not sure myself, maybe it's Mokona Modoki. XD

And I hear that the Tsubasa : Tokyo Revelations soundtrack is going to be released soon.

When is this crazyness going to end? (Not that I want it to end, either.)

"Syaoran": This person too... She looks exactly like my mother's mother I saw in the photo.

w00t!! We finally get to see Sakura's mother! And lo and behold, she is none other than Nadeshiko! But that's not the end of it...

Sakura: Father!

ｶﾞ━━Σ(ﾟДﾟ|||)━━ﾝ!!

Wha... What's going on!!? Fujitaka is Sakura's father!? What's more, he's the King of Clow Country!

Nadeshiko: Yes... He is Sakura-hime's destined person.
(The destiny of those two are even crossing over worlds, and now accelerates ahead!)

So in this Chapitre, we're introduced to real Sakura's parents, Fujitaka and Nadeshiko. And by real Sakura, her name is written as "桜", instead of "サクラ" which was used for the clone. As for Fujitaka and Nadeshiko, I guess that is to be expected since they are Sakura's parents from the original CCS franchise after all. What I'm wondering now is, who was Clow Reed? The one who was depicted as the King of Clow Country earlier on? Was that person the original CCS Clow Reed? Or another alternate universe Clow Reed? Or could it be... He was actually just used as a part of fake memories which were implanted into clone Sakura and clone Syaoran by Fei Wang? The latter seems to be the most logical premise. Perhaps he never existed to begin with, and all of those events that took place in the first few Chapitres were fake events cleverly orchestrated by Fei Wang to have clone Syaoran and co. go on a journey.

Well, nothing much of plot importance happened in this Chapitre. "Syaoran" meets Sakura and family for the first time. We also learned that he is Sakura's destined person from Nadeshiko, who herself, is a Yumemi (dreamseer). What exactly his role is in this development is still left unclear. Guess we'll have to wait for the next Chapitre then.

DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS RUBBISH. IT'S A TRAP! The user was obviously high when he watched Season 2.

I don't even know why I continued to watch it. I just had to finish it, but it's so forgettable and nothing of worth really happened even in the end. I want my time back! ORZ

Oh, god the OVAs were awesome which makes me assume that it's not Tsubasa Chronicle that is boring it's just Bee Train who sucks. Very good stuff going on in the OVAs that KEPT my attention. I'm a little angry about the whole cloning stuff going on and from what I've been hearing, Tsubasa Chronicle is a direct sequel to CCS. Syaoran is the son of Sakura and Syaoran. Although, I'm not exactly sure how it all fits or whatever since I'm not really interested in the manga. I will probably never acknowledge Tsubasa Chronicle as a sequel to CCS because CCS is a classic and Tsubasa is just milking off previously made stuff.

CLAMP should really just disband and do character designs or whatever they've been doing lately with their involvement with Code Geass and other anime. CLAMP used to make some awesome stuff. They got me into shoujo and mahou shoujo but Tsubasa Chronicle is just horrible. It shits all over their best work. Oh, I've gone into my CLAMP is dead to me spiel.

OVAs were awesome just watch those.

That whole segment really made up for all the trouble of going through S2. Sakura sure got roughed up bad. Good thing too because she was utterly useless for 52 episodes + 2 OVAs.

Manga readers already knew what was coming......

Well well well, what do we have here... It turns out, "Syaoran" happens to be CCS Syaoran and Sakura's son. ^^

Twisted? Yes. OMGWTFBBQ? Hmm... Not as much as when clone Syaoran lost his heart and went on a gory rampage in Tokyo. I do admit, I was honestly surprised. And if this wasn't written by Ohkawa-sensei for Tsubasa, I would have called it the ultimate fanservice for CLAMP fans. It's just that this issue has been chipping away at me for a long time. I suppose 2 factors led me to have speculations which dampened the impact:

1. Clow Reed's existence. Yuuko hinted very early on in HOLiC that the Clow Reed she was referring to was that very same Clow Reed in CCS, hence already establishing a link between HOLiC and CCS. It also provided a strong ground for theory that CCSverse and HOLiCverse are in the same world, which was recently confirmed. And when Fei Wang Reed (the name just gave it away), was disclosed as being Clow's relative, it created another suggested link between CCS, HOLiC and Tsubasa.

2. Fei Wang stated the original kid he cloned is a descendent of that Clow Reed. Moreover, the boy happened to look identical to CCS Syaoran, who is also Clow's descendent. Coincidence? Didn't think Clow could have many descendents who look identical among themselves, let alone being alternate-universe counterparts of one another. All of this boiled down to the fact that Clow's descendents originated from one world, which is CCSverse (unless Clow had traveled to many different worlds himself; he was a very powerful sorceror after all). After contemplating a bit more on "Syaoran" being Clow's descendent, I had a nagging feeling the boy was originally from Japan and is related to CCS Syaoran somehow, but the thought never crossed my mind that he is his son (Er ya, as if the physical resemblance wasn't obvious enough ^^;). But like all speculations, I tagged it as a highly erroneous and risky assumption some 60 chapters back, and it was too soon to be jumping to conclusions. Now I felt kind of weird that it turned out to be...well, what it is o_o. Maybe I should stop thinking too much and start taking things at face value. I like OMGWTFBBQs. ^^

I'm itching to know what transpired between them when they were kids. And if they were separated that early, it's very likely they never had a romance going on between them from the start. Of course it may be a different case when it comes to "Puppy Love at First Sight". Anyway, the current "Syaoran" didn't look as if he had any romantic feelings for the present real Sakura. Then again...there's the significance of that glass tube scene at the beginning of the series. Only time will tell... Please don't discuss about the timeline. This is severely grinding my brain already. XD

CLAMP... I LOVE the way you do things... First, you slapped our faces with poo by revealing that Syaoran is a clone, and you slammed us hard with the second wave when Sakura was unveiled as one too. Then you went on shocking us with tasty little info bits which are never revealed in any of your Manga or Anime, like that cookie about Zashiki-Warashi's gender (This is not a joke btw).

With that said, I'm still hopelessly in love with your works... It's impossible for me to give up after 14 years of following anyway. Do keep the bright fire burning :)

PS. Who wants to take a crack at guessing the identities of Watanuki's parents? XD

Only seven more episode to go, and I just can't move onto anything else yet. I'm the type of person that likes to finish things one and a time with very little watching of multiple series at once unless it is just airing. Watching multiple shows at once just makes me feel very overwhelmed.

Anyway, I thought Da Capo S.S was painful. Tsubasa Chronicles S2 is even worse, and to be honest I can't even freaking remember why they're on this journey to begin with other than Shaoran is now feather captor Shaoran.

Episode 18 had Kero-chan in it with Aya Hisakawa once again doing the voice. Eh, it was pretty fun, and now I can see where the budget went. Still just one episode of Kero-chan with his original voice isn't going to win me over. This show is still VERY boring. Now, I wonder what a remake of Cardcaptor Sakura would be like by Bee Train? ::shudder::

Also, what is the deal with them returning to worlds they've already been in like 20 episodes ago? I can't even remember what happened in the previous world they were just in let alone one from season one which I watched about 2 years ago.

And, just now I realized that Aya Hisakawa also does the voice of Tomoko Honda in True Love Story. I had no idea because she wasn't speaking Osakaben. Oh shiiit Aya Hisakawa is pretty damn talented if I didn't even notice.

Hmm. This was actually one of the better episodes that actually got me interested mainly because the characters were chibi for a good portion of the episode. Funny antics ensued as Mokona used his drawing skills to get the gang out of a drawing or something.

Episode 12 looks like it goes back to boring again.

The thing with this show is it's the same damn thing every episode. They get to the new world. Fay says something gay. Kurogane yells at him or Makona. Shaoran is like, "Hime are you okay." Sakura is like, "Yes." or Shaoran blames himself for whatever happens that they get caught up in or whatever.

SUDDENLY SOMETHING BORING HAPPENS

Shaoran and company get caught up in whatever it is that is going on. They find out it deals with one of Sakura's feather.

Rinse and repeat. Is the manga honestly this boring too? CLAMP used to be so awesome back in the day.
