ใจนั้นอยากได้วรรณกรรมสักเรื่อง หรือ หนังสือศิลปะสักเล่ม (แต่ก็ยังมีหนังสือรอการอ่านกองอยู่บนโต๊ะ

อีกหลายเล่มเหมือนกัน) แต่ก็ยังไม่ตัดสินใจ เดินเทียวไปเทียวมาหลายร้าน หยิบอ่่าน แล้วก็วางลงไป

ที่เดิม เกือบจะฉก " Action Script 3.0 " มาเชยชม แต่ก็ยั้งมือไว้ทัน เนื่องได้ฉุกคิดว่า ยังมีอีก

สี่เล่มที่อ่านไม่จบ..

จนแล้วจนรอด ก็เดินมาร้านประจำชั้นบนสุด สายตาเหลือบมองไปทั่ว แต่ก็ยังไม่ได้ติดใจเล่มไหน

เป็นที่สุด สายตาที่ผมกวาดไปทั่วแผงหนังสือ ที่จัดอย่างเป็นระเบียบนั้น พลันไปปะทะกับหนังสือ

เล่มเล็กเล่มหนึ่งซึ่ง ชีวิตนี้ไม่เคยคิดมาก่อนว่า "ต้องซื้อมาอ่าน" หลังจากพลิกไปสองสามแผ่น

หนังสือเล่มนั้นก็อันตรธานจากแผงหนังสือที่ร้านนั้นตลอดไป..

จำได้ว่าเมื่อก่อน จะซื้อหนังสือเทคนิค เคล็ดลับ เวิร์คชอป อะไรประมาณนี้เกี่ยวกับซอฟแวร์

ที่ผมใช้งานอยู่ประจำมาอ่านเพื่อประเทืองปัญญา และดูว่ามันมีอะไรเจ๋งๆที่เราจะลอกเค้าได้บ้าง

(หรือว่าคุณไม่เคยลอกใคร) จนในที่สุด ผมก็ไม่ได้ใช้สิ่งเหล่านั้นอย่างเต็มความสามารถ และ

ลืมเลือนมันไปในที่สุด หลายครั้งที่พยายามทำความเข้าใจกับตัวเองว่า "ทำไมเรายังไม่รู้อันนี้นะ"

"มันมีแบบนี้ด้วยเหรอ" เป็นต้น ทั้งๆที่สิ่งเหล่านี้ล้วนเกิดมาจาก พื้นฐานของสื่งที่เรากำลังใช้งาน

มันอยู่ โดยไม่เคยใส่ใจหรือมองเห็นมันในการทำงานเลย(โอ้ว...ผมผิดไปแล้วคร้าบ)

หลังจากอ่านไปสองถึงสามบท ผมรู้สึกสนุกกับการเรียนรู้ "สิ่งง่ายๆ" พวกนี้มากจนลืมว่า

เรามัวแต่ไปคำนึงถึงเทคนิคมากเกินไป จนไม่คิดถึงการมีพื้นฐานที่ดีที่ช่วยให้ใช้งานอย่างมี

ประสิทธิภาพ มันมีผลดีกับการพัฒนาเทคนิคเราแค่ไหน

ปล. หนังสือที่ผมซื้อคือ Illustrator Classroom in a book ของ Adobe Press ครับ

เนื่องจากอ่านใน Help แล้วยังงงกับเกี่ยวกับ เรื่องของการ Trapping และ Knockout

เลยตัดสินใจซื้อมาอ่าน แต่ที่ได้คือ การใช้งานพื้นฐานที่สนุกและง่าย ในการนำไปใช้งาน

ให้เกิดประสิทธิภาพมากที่สุด แต่อย่างว่าละครับ คนทึ่มๆอย่างผม คงจะใช้เวลามากพอดู :)

This is one of my newest creations. A LEGO LEGO logo. Now of course, its been done before, but as I said, very few people build by twisting the bricks sideways. I should also mention that this is completely uncheated. I didn't cut or alter the bricks in anyway. I just twisted them. Turning LEGO bricks and plates sideways is nothing new, that is what S.N.O.T. (studs not on top) is after all. But I always like to take it that much further. On my Flickr account you can see the layout I drew before I started building.

That is my tip, draw out what you are going to do. That way you have a plan to go off of. You may not follow the plan exactly, I found myself changing a plate here and there, but at least it is a jumping off point. And, as a bonus tip: four plates and one tile (two studs wide) makes a square. That is how you can twist bricks and turn them sideways. And then to attach them to the rest of the model, you just use a technic brick and a half pin.

Now I have to admit, the first time I saw this type of building, I never thought that I would understand it, much less excel in it. I thought that there was some magic to doing it. But once I understood the basics, I absolutely loved building mosaics! I quickly realized that they were like cross stitch patterns (which I have been doing for over 20 years) or like a geometric math problem (which was one of my favorite subjects in school). There's no magic to it, it just takes time a practice. Try it out for yourself. ;)

It was more exciting to see the new warehouse solutions. Even in the conveyor belt technology there have been some really nice improvemts. One manufacture made a solution where the belt is running like a spiral stair, that means that the cartons can't foll off anymore or do block the system.  Also nice was a solution from the firm called Bizerba, the have an highspeed scale who takes the weight and the measurements while the belt is going on with 3 metres per seconds and they shoot the shipment label on the package with air pressure, and send your KEP service the data via telecommunication to your freight forwarder.

There was also a machine who was juggling some balls, very nice. It works with an accurancy of 100%. Maybe you do the picks via grabbing them in the air in the future? Would be a hard work for your employees ^^, but nice too watch when the miniskirts lifts up while they try to pick the goods^^*smile*

There were only few information about RFID solutions, the manufactures are far behind the retailers, who really start intigrating the system, for e.g. Karstadt and Kaufhof, which have large shopping centers... They should wake up pretty soon or the will miss a market. The barcode system is loosing its priority , get it guys.

I enjoyed really to drink some coffee with the consulting companys, who had really the nicest babes with the shortest miniskirts for bringing you the coffee, always good to get up some relationships ;-)

i will recieve my new mobile Phone, i hope that t-mobile will have it then! I was able to choose between an iPhone and the Samsung SGH-F480. I choosed the Samsung, because it is much better and even faster in the Internet than the iPhone,and it has even the same touchscreen. And i think it looks really cool!

Author mentions this in context of zoo keeping. "At least in a well-kept zoo, an animal’s comfort zone is protected and all of its needs are satisfied". Also if these comfort zones are trespassed often, it can have adverse effect on the animal health. Interestingly it compares this environment to the human zoo as well.

How far is it from truth? Practicing street photography, will provide quite similar insight. There are comfort zones beyond which people feel perturbed by your presence more so with your camera. Getting a great frame is to go as close as possible without invoking feeling of trespassing. The moment that feeling is created, you have lost your chance.

Few tips on how to make this possible:

• Dress to look inconspicuous: Dress simple. Try local dressing if you have similar skin tonality as local.
• Carry 200 mm lens at minimum: Although it depends on your body language and how comfortable people can be around you. But while walking off the street and clicking a candid shot. This is the kind of distance required for capturing that moment in true sense.
• Pay in kindness: Never pay money for taking a shot. It sets a bad precedent. Talk to the person you have trying to capture. Tell them why and what do you want to photograph. Asked them if they would like to photographed and how. It also weaves a story in your head. What is the point of a picture without a story?
• Try to get as close as possible: There is nothing like too closely framed portrait. Point above is important for this to happen

Leaving it with a shot:
