WTF?! Why does random peopel on talk shows and on the NEWS (!) talk about what a shame it is with Miley and how bad she is and all the teen wannabe goodie-twoshoes girls discussing her on IMDb calling her a skank ?! To quote little Stephanie Tanner "How Rude!"
Yes, the vanity fair photos were a bit much, but then we all need to remember her age. Shes 15! She is at a very impressional age right now, probably trying to manage her fame and her life trying to grow up and make "the right choises" at the same time. Maybe she kinda htought of those picturen in vanity as just another one of those photo shoots, and are we all forgetting that she probably didnt feel that bad about it unitl everyone seemed to have an opinion on how "bad" it was ? poor thing. 
Miley is a 15 year old girl. She's growing up. I have photos of my sisters posing in bikinis, and they were 14 and 15 at the time. I also remember taking pictures of myself in my shortest skirt and top when I was that age. Its exactly the age when you try to figure everything out, including you body and sexuality. I'm not saying that they're all ready to have sex and post raunchy pics online, but it is a big part of ones life at that age. Miley is getting some heat because someone who shouldnt have posted those photos online. when you're famous, the whole issue about true friends etc. becomes a very difficult one, and you might think you can trust your friends, because thats what you need to be able to do at that age.
It's unfortunate, and sad, for Miley, and other girls that age still trying to make ense of it all. I bet most girls that age who call Miley a skank have a few photos in their files themselves of themselves...

Another note, LEAVE TAYLOR MOMSEN ALONE!!!!!
She is not anorexic!!!!! and she is not, just as Miley is not, a skank!

IMDB posters on Miley and Taylor messageboards, I am guessing over half of you is Miley and Taylors age, add or take a few years. The rest is probably christian twenty year old something virgins who are too "holy" for their own good. Please give these girls a break. They work hard, and they do the best they can, while also trying to grow up and make sense of life and who they are. They dont need your useless and hurtful "skank!" comments. Give credit where credit's due, and praise them for their hard work entertaining you, and leave them alone when you have nothing usefull to say!

Last week I wrote about Taylor Momsen from Gossip Girl joining IMG Models and now Byrdie Bell, real life NYC socialite and actress, is joining Ford Models. Many socialites are signed to agencies, but most are with IMG. Byrdie's already been on several Vogue covers so Ford won't have too much work ahead of them.

While one socialite joins a modeling agency, another joins Gossip Girl. Tinsley Mortimer was already mentioned by name on the show and now she will make an appearence next season. Apart from being a socialite, Tinsley is also a designer and a contributing author for the The Park Avenue Diet.

Gossip Girl clearly has a large following, including yours truly, and it's brought quick fame to it's young actors and actresses. The latest to receive praise is Taylor Momsen, aka Jenny Humphrey, who has been signed to IMG Models. Even though her rise to fame has been a short ride so far she obviously shows potential. At 14, she is one of the youngest models ever signed on to the company.

Taylor Momsen, who plays Jenny Humphrey on CW's Gossip Girls, just secured her future in showbiz a little more. The 14-year-old will be one of the youngest in the company, which counts Gisele, Gemma Ward, and Drew Barrymore as clients.

According to Fashionista, we can expect to see her in a big campaign in the coming months - something along the lines of Neutrogena. Being young, blonde, leggy, and starring in one of the hottest shows of the moment just doesn't seem fair. Some people really do have it all, no?

The Fifi (Fragrance Foundation) Awards were held May 21st 2008... "The Oscars of the scent" scene gathered some of the best smelling celebrities and designers in the business. Vera Wang received the Hall of Fame award, Zac Posen and Taylor Momsen presented, and the Beckhams managed to clean up without even being present...

Embora a idéia seja boa para, apenas, ganhar mais dinheiro e popularidade, a trama do novo "Gossip Girl" teria que seguir a cronologia dos livros. E seguir isto seria mais fácil com a personagem de Momsen.

Everyone's favorite teen drama Gossip Girl may be getting a much anticipated spin-off, and only after one juicy season! According to The Hollywood Reporter, producers are strongly considering a spin-off series based upon author Cecily von Ziegesar's other acclaimed series, The It Girl. As the article further explains:

Producers are hoping to expand the popular CW show by either giving co-star Taylor Momsen her own series or by introducing a new character next season who is later spun off.

Awww, little J gets her own series? No doubt Queen B will be upset that she still has to share the spotlight with on-again off-again BFF S. In the books, Jenny Humphrey leaves the privileged world of Upper East Side private schools to escape...to the privileged world of boarding schools located far, but not too far from the city. Either way, the CW is poised to milk this enterprise for as long as it possibly can.

And when can we expect this spin-off to get spun? Not for awhile, apparently. In a related article via Gawker, show creator Josh Schwartz says that the show has no current plans for a spin-off because "Everyone is focused on making season 2 as good as possible," but that they have not thrown out the idea entirely. Hmmm...sounds like this is one story we'll be tracking as it plays out. XOXO

Producers of Gossip Girl are planning a spinoff series set at a girls boarding school by either giving co-star Taylor Momsen aka Jenny Humphrey her own series or by introducing a new character in the fall who is then spun off and given a new series.

Taylor, 14, plays a character who is a self-esteem challenged outsider and struggles to fit in. Any spinoff would likely draw on Taylor’s character Jenny Humphrey in the Gossip Girl book series for inspiration, according to the Hollywood Reporter. In the books, a series of public embarrassments (such as appearing in a teen magazine wearing next to nothing) results in Humphrey having to either repeat ninth grade or find a new school.

It is not yet clear whether the spinoff would be picked up for the fall season considering the CW already has Gossip Girl and 90210 in production, as well as One Tree Hill.

In 2000, Taylor, starred in her breakthrough performance in Ron Howard’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas, as Cindy Lou Who opposite Jim Carrey.

Kristin Veitch of E! recently answered some fan queries regarding Gossip Girl on the E! website. Here it is, quoted verbatim:

Wendell in New Orleans: I’ve heard conflicting reports about Michelle Trachtenberg being on the new season of Gossip Girl. Do you know if she’ll be back?
I’m told there has been a little back-and-forth but that so far, M.T. has not been asked back for season two. Michelle herself said: “[Josh Schwartz] has told everyone that everyone is coming back and that it’s going to be like a crazy, wild cast of a million people, so I’d love to, I think it’d be great fun. It’s a character I’ve just thoroughly enjoyed…and pretty sexy.” Schwartz-love, bring her back so I can practice my Tae-Bo kicks at the screen! Wouldn’t be as much fun without someone to boil our blood.

Silas in Tacoma, Wash.: Have you heard this rumor about CW president Dawn Ostroff leaving her job? What does this mean for my fave shows like Gossip Girl?
According to my inside source at the network, there is some truth to the rumor. There have apparently been some talks with potential replacements, and the scuttlebutt is that Ostroff is looking for a new gig. Apparently, one way or another, regime change at the CW is likely to happen sooner rather than later. As for Gossip Girl, fear not. There isn’t a chance in Hades any new prez would kill that show.

Hope you are sitting down for this and have a paper bag to breathe into because I’m hearing the future is not looking good for Dan and Serena. Gaaahhh! I know, I know, come here and I’ll hold you. Sources tell me that in season two, Dan and Serena will be up and down and all around and everywhere except happy coupledom. The crazy-good news, though? Bluck or Chair or whatever you want to call them are so on. Apparently, the producers have noticed the crazy-good chemistry that lies within that naughty-by-nature duo, and there’ll be much more of them ahead. I’m actually told they will be “the couple” moving forward. (Holler if you’re happy in the comments! I’ll meet you there.)

--- "The lunches are great. You can choose from a chicken or fish dish with salad, there's old-fashioned lemonade to drink and between scenes, nibbles are handed out too."

--- "The girls spend more time with the stylists but the boys have to be looked after too. Chuck has a very original look. I'd wear a lot of his clothes but I'd team them differently. One of my favorite outfits was a devil costume. It was made especially and cost a thousand pounds!"

--- The show's sets are located at Silvercup Studios in Long Island. Ed says that, "It's like a doll's house there. You can walk from the Waldorf's living room to Ed's hotel suite (which also doubles as Serena's too, thanks to crafty decorating), then on to Nate's house."

--- On party scenes: "For the drinks, ginger ale is mixed with water to act as scotch, and only mixers are used for martini. There's no real alcohol involved."

--- On their trailers: "Mine is quite new. I've got a lovely leather recliner but my TV doesn't work so I'll be on my laptop or listen to the radio."

--- On his fellow cast members and himself: " Everyone gets on really well but we each have our own quirks. I have little rituals, like shaking my hands a bit before we start filming. Blake Lively (Serena) pretends to be from the ghetto. Chace Crawford (Nate) sings. Leighton Meester (Blair) is glued to her phone. And Penn Badgley (Dan) walks about looking cold all of the time!"

Skymag also talked to the show's set decorator, Christina Tonkin, and production designer, Loren Weeks.

Christina: I'm responsible for the look of the show when it comes to the sets --- the ones we build and the location shoots.

Loren: I design everything that's built so I work alongside Christina. I also help find different locations for each episode.

--- On the scenes they had the most fun working on

Christina: The masquerade ball was good. We worked with the wardrobe department on the colour scheme and the gowns the cast would be wearing.

Loren: The Waldorf's set --- it's really elegant. I based it on the American architect Rosario Candela, who designed lots of New York apartment blocks in the 20's and 30's.

--- On jobs that proved to be particularly tricky

Christina: Creating the illusion of snow in the Christmas episode. We had three projectors above the set aimed at the walls while confetti was blown with a fan.

Loren: Building a tunnel for Taylor Momsen (Jenny) to walk through on her way to the ball. We had to add twinkling lights.
