From another Japanese tuner, Liberty Walk ,comes this badass Scaglietti. They change the GT looks on Scaglietti into one fierce sports car. They put new wheels with the size of 20 inch, new 245/35/20 front and 335/30/20 at the back Michelin tyres and new suspension. There are no bodykit, well for a car as good as Scaglietti, no bodykit is understandable :)

Just when I think that Pagani Zonda couldn't gone any better, I was wrong. The new Zonda Cinque was made to be better than the predecessor, the F.  This hypercar is 20 kg lighter, 0-60 mph in 3.4 sec, got new spoiler, new Pirelli tyres with the size as big as a yacht (front 255/35/19, rear 335/30/20), 678 Bhp, top speed more than 218 mph, and another boring technical specifications. All I know is, Zonda is a great car and it always will be. Oh and,almost forgot, this Cinque is limited to 5 only. Well, it's even more exclusive than Reventon.

It is the first concept car to incorporate Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive in a mid-engine layout. The idea was to create an extreme, but ecological, 4-wheel-drive supercar with a cabin big enough to accommodate three adults plus an infant.

The midship packaging of the hybrid powertrain enabled Giugiaro to create a one-volume, sleek silhouette shape, which is also critical to minimizing aerodynamic drag. In addition to the slick shape of the vehicle itself, the Quaranta incorporates rear aerodynamic flaps inspired by Formula 1. According to Italdesign, this low wind resistance enables the car to reach a top speed of 155 mph and to accelerate from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 4.0 seconds.

The Quaranta is not simply a design exercise, but rather a way of showcasing the many talents of Italdesign Giugiaro. In addition to developing exterior and interior car designs, the Italian firm offers engineering services for chassis, mechanicals and bodywork, as well as research of the latest in automotive technology, as evidenced by the use of a solar panels to provide additional energy for the hybrid powerplant.

Shelby SuperCars burst into automotive history with their record setting Ultimate Aero.  Validated by Guinness World Records as the fastest production car, the ultimate Aero beat out Bugatti and Koenigsegg to grab the record as fastest supercar with a top speed of 256 MPH.  That’s got to be bad for the gas mileage.

Now SSC plans to release the Ultimate Aero EV (electric vehicle); to crush the record as fastest electric car!  The car is rumored to make 500 pollution-free horsepower.  The question is how can SSC fit a 500 hp electric engine and battery pack in such a small car?  I say good luck and Godspeed!

La Maybach Exelero, meravigliosa e inquietante supercar realizzata nel 2005 in esemplare unico, e rimasta ahinoi allo stato di concept car, è in vendita. Il prezzo? Una formalità da cinque milioni di euro.

L’auto, nata dall’esemplare fusione di linee retrò e futuristiche, era spinta da un 5.9 V12 biturbo da 700 CV che le consentiva di superare i 350 km/h, una punta velocistica raggiunta anche grazie a un particolare pneumatico (315/25 montato su cerchi da 23″) sviluppato dalla Fulda, azienda che di fatto commissionò lo sviluppo del prototipo, rinnovando un connubio nato nell’anteguerra con la Maybach SW 38.

La coupè venne svelata per la prima volta al Tempodrom di Berlino nel maggio 2005, e da quel momento non si sono mai del tutto spenti i sogni di chi avrebbe voluto nella gamma dell’aristocratico marchio tedesco un modello dal fascino decisamente più denso, oscuro, misterioso della pur lussuosa limousine. E invece tutto questo rimarrà appannaggio di una sola persona. Beato lui.
