segue un tentativo (auspicabilmente utile) di riassumere i punti essenziali riguardanti l'incipienterrima edizione di Vacanze Romane:

Il sabbazzietto, rispetto all'anno scorso, ha cambiato sede, quindi se non ti vuoi andare ad incastrare per nulla nel budello di Vigna da Valle, e magari preferisci arrivare al circolo rapidamente ad iscriverti: clikka qui per scaricare le indicazioni e dai un'occhiata qui per avere una mappa..

L'inizio delle procedure di partenza della prima prova del sabato è previsto, come al solito, per le 14.00.. quindi se non sei tra quanti usciranno dal sabbazzietto: mettiti in acqua per tempo, magari anche qualche minuto prima della termica, no?!

Le istruzioni verranno consegnate all'atto dell'iscrizione, naturalmente!

Il costo dell'iscrizione (per gli snipe e per i dinghy) è esplicitato nel Bando di Regata.. che ti sei appena scaricato, vero?!

L'iscrizione comprende la cena per gli equipaggi (sabato sera).. "equipaggi" significa "quelli che fanno la regata", NON quelli che sono sposati/figli/parenti/amici di/con quelli che fanno la regata, naturalmente, per i quali (i non-regatanti) è necessario prenotare la cena all'atto dell'iscrizione.. è chiaro o serve un disegnino??

Per iscriversi servono le solite cose=FIV+Assicurazione barca+Iscrizione Classe+etc. (vedasi bando).

Per i dinghy varranno come Zonale sia le prove del sabato che della domenica.

Per gli snipe, come consolidata ed intelligente tradizione della Classe nella nostra Zona, varranno come Zonale SOLO le prove della domenica, nello specifico queste varranno anche per la Ranking List Nazionale.

Il t302 è perpetuo.. quindi inutile stare a dire se valga o meno.. l'unica cosa è che se ne potrebbe disputare una versione particolarmente estesa..

Note particolari:

per i parcheggi si prega di seguire le indicazioni fornite da chi starà lì non per divertimento ma per evitare casini, il classico velista-cafone che arriva e lascia l'auto in mezzo convinto di essere l'unico degno di iscriversi è figura sgraditissima.. ma magari i coregoni potrebbero apprezzarne le carni..

per chi si presenta da solo ad iscrivere duecento equipaggi: i documenti dovranno essere TUTTI in regola e completi, come per chi si iscrive in proprio, naturalmente..

PS. Il post regata di quelli di sabato potrebbe essere proprio quel genere di post regata che quando lo si perde e si scopre cosa sia stato.. ci si sta un pò male!

Pablo Cayado, el Director Deportivo del Club Náutico Recreativo de Sada nos informa que el pasado fin de semana el CN Recreativo de Sada celebró el “Trofeo del Carmen Cuca-Roga”, valedero para el “Circuito Optimist Rias Altas - Caixa Galicia”. Se trata de la 3ª prueba puntuable para el circuito, donde previamente se disputaron mangas en Coruña y Ferrol.

Las pruebas siguieron el plan previsto y dieron comienzo a las 15:00h frente a la bahía de Sada, donde se organizaron 3 recorridos diferentes para las flotas de Escuela-Regata (optimist) y multiclase (470, snipe y laser). Se dieron cita más de 30 embarcaciones procedentes del RCNC, CNR Ares, Montón de Ferrol, CD Miño y CN Recreativo Sada.

Los vientos moderados del norte y el mar de fondo hicieron peligrar la celebración de la prueba, pero finalmente el comité de regatas decidió seguir con el plan previsto realizando 4 mangas olímpicas y un recorrido costero. Los deportistas (desde los 8 años) demostraron sus habilidades y dieron un bonito espectáculo en la ría sadense. Las complicadas condiciones provocaron que se diesen varios abandonos y algunas roturas de aparejo en la flota multiclase.

Tras la celebración de la prueba se invitó a una cena de confraternización para regatistas en el Hotel Sada Marina, donde representantes de Caixa Galicia y el Alcalde de Sada hicieron entrega de los premios a los ganadores:

El  pasado domingo se celebró una jornada de convivencia en Sada, donde regatistas de los clubes participantes realizaron juegos en tierra, navegación conjunta, intercambio de tripulaciones y pruebas de nuevas disciplinas de navegación. Cerrando así un fin de semana de competiciones y convivencia entre jóvenes deportistas de las Rías Altas.

mentre sale verticalmente la temperatura in attesa della prossimissima Vacanze Romane (di fianco un nostro socio alla notizia di essere il solo a non aver lucidato la barca..) cominciano ad arrivare adesioni dall'orbe terracqueo e si ritira, purtroppo, la debordante tramontana che ieri ha spazzato il Lago e fatto sperare(*) in una edizione di Vacanze Romane molto "on the rocks"!

Anche perchè uno degli indiscussi pregi della nuova location sabbazziesca è che, a differenza della precedente, è possibile uscire anche con la tramontanona, senza dovere sostenere prima un test psico-attitudinale su toro-meccanico!

A margine di queste considerazioni di carattere generale va detto che gli ultimissimi dettagli sono in via di sistemazione.. anche se pare proprio che dovremo rinunciare all'eliporto..

..e che si va definendo, all'interno di Vacanze Romane, una tappa del t302 particolarmente "dura".. con alcuni equipaggi che, se confermati, potrebbero contribuire ad una t302evolution.. a breve se ne dovrebbe sapere di più.

After the Dragon this year we watched as grenades were thrown at NAM founder and Dragon organizer, Mark Ferguson. Every time someone asks the "Cooper or an S?" question, an army of S-holes comes out to bash the Cooper. Some people are being suspended for their online behavior and there are reports of groups organizing ambushes on unsuspecting vendors. Almost like in the real Vietnam, you have to keep your head down to avoid getting sniped by enemies who pop up out of nowhere. Things were so bad that Ferguson recently was forced to establish new site guidelines and said the NAM forums had reached a new low.

What the hell is going on? When I first came to NAM about two years ago I was amazed at the community spirit and the kindness. Half the mods on MINIBee would not have been possible if it weren't for the complete strangers (and friends) who were always willing to help. I participated in the "pay it forward" attitude that used to prevail there and it made me a better person. And although I have many NAM friends, some whom I have not yet met, lately I have been considering getting email addresses from them and ditching NAM altogether. Consider this statement recently made by Mark Ferguson:

NAM was intended to be a community gathering place...not a place for people to come and bash those they don't like or agree with. I'll be taking actions to insure that we get back to that original intent. If you don't feel like you can be a part of a civil and friendly community its time to looking for a new home on the Internet.

Yes, Mark Ferguson makes money off the MINI community. So do a bunch of vendors who are also members of the community. Yes, the S is faster off-the-line than a Cooper. We can all read a spec sheet. Yes, some vendors have bad business practices and may even try to rip you off. Caveat emptor and welcome to capitalism. And yes, MOTD is a big event now and to be successful it needs some structure. It will never be the same as the grass-roots version it was in the beginning so if that's what you want, PM 20-30 of your best MINI friends and pick another weekend. The Dragon will be there.

Here's what we can all do to make NAM a better place...state your opinions, agree and disagree with passion but always show respect for others. And sometime soon take a deep, cleansing breath and ask yourself what you have to contribute to the MINI community. If all you can do is tear other people down, complain and bring negativity to each discussion, then you are creating VietNAM.

Join the cease fire. Pay it forward. Save the wave. A MINI is Mini is a MINI. All of that. Oh, and one more thing........

As the Chopper City Boyz gear up to release their second album: Life in the Concrete Jungle I reflect on what it could and should sound like.  I think Snipe and Gar are good rapper.  I think they COULD be some of the hottest rappers in the south and in the game.  I know them both personally and have heard alot of material from them.  Snipe has a vicious flow, rapid fire with the potential to be a good solid lyricist.  Gar is my favorite out of the two.  He's straight down the middle, uncut raw with alot of energy and passion.  I fucks with him.  What I want from the album is no holding back, great lyrics over great beats.  I think it'll be a decent album.  This album SHOULD be solid, I think it will be cool.

After a successful, but allegedly unprofitable career with Cash Money Records,B.G. turned heads by reinventing himself as part of another group comprised of his younger brother and his childhood friends. As the Chopper City Boyz, B.G., V.L. Mike, Hakim, Snipe and Gar released We Got This through a distribution deal with Koch. The album debuted at number 20 on the Billboard 200and was hailed as one of the most successful independent albums of 2007.

Since their debut, a lot has changed for the Chopper City Boyz. Hakim (a.k.a.Hakizzle), still remains on good terms with his Chopper City family, but he is pursuing a career as a soloist. As the group prepares to release Life in the Concrete Jungle, their first effort through a joint venture with Asylum, Snipe and Gartook some time out to catch everyone up to speed on all the changes. Despite the crossover appeal of their lead single, "Bubblegum Muzik," which features Chopper City artist Lady Dolla, both members insist there will be no ringtone music on the album.

"We didn’t want to lighten it up, but we did want to attack the clubs and the females a little more," Snipe tells HipHopDX. Gar is in full agreement, adding, "We’re always going to have that street music...that gangsta music. But, at the same time, we wanna let the ladies know we’ve got something for them too."

A club single could surely lighten the mood for a city that still shows scars from Hurricane Katrina. Additionally, former member V.L. Mike was murdered in April, making him one of seven people slain during a violent four-day stretch. Snipe andGar remain optimistic, despite the fact that crime is causing more and more of New Orleans' artists to make headlines for all the wrong reasons.

"[Mayor] Ray Nagin can only do so much and there’s a whole chain of command on that man," says Gar. "That situation comes from people who have a higher rank than Ray Nagin. He’s alright with me. Dude has done all he can do. I have two children and I know the way life is down here is not conducive to raising children."

Snipe takes a decidedly different approach to life in Crescent City adding, "I would never leave New Orleans [because] this is in my blood. The only way I could leave is if my mother was to leave. I ain’t going nowhere." They may be of two minds in terms of living in "The N.O.," but Snipe and Gar share the same plan as far as their city's signature sound is concerned.

"We’re gonna bring it back to the point where everybody is uniting," says Snipe."We’ve got a 27-city promotional tour coming up too." The group backs up their claim with a lengthy list of cameos for their upcoming album, which features fellow Louisiana natives C-Murder, Hurricane Chris, Skip of UTP, B.G., and former Cash Money artist Lac. Rocko, Alfamega and Blood Raw of USDA also make appearances. Life in the Concrete Jungle will be released on August 26.

..sarebbe errato credere che i preparativi riguardino "solo" l'organizzazione della regata ed il circolo.. naturalmente!

Come è prevedibile, dato il calendario, al sabbazzietto fervono gli ultimissimi preparativi in vista dell'edizione 2008 di Vacanze Romane, preparativi tutto sommato agevolati dal fatto che dopo una settimana di canicola è arrivata una domenica a dire poco.. meteomutevole.. insomma non adeguata a qualsivoglia attività velica.

A presto con le novità..mentre un'anticipazione la mettiamo da subito: si sta pensando di dotare le barche più.. "inattive" del circolo di un simpatico zombie-da-giardino (foto sotto), oggettino che va sostituendo i prosaici nani per i giardini d'Europa, e che riposto all'interno dello snipe di un ignaro snipista potrebbe procurare al medesimo snipista un leggerissimo stranguglione, così come solleva il telo..

The idea behind eBay is to bid on an item until the auction ends and whoever submitted the highest bid wins.  So basically you have two choices for bidding.  You can bid every time you get out bidded, just so you can see your name as the current high bidder.  Or you can wait until the end of the auction and shoot your bid in at the last second (hence the term sniping).  One problem with sniping, sometimes it's not always convenient to sit at your computer and keep hitting the refresh button to get the time remaining and shoot in that last bid with 5 seconds remaining.  Enter the world of auction sniping websites.  There are quite a few, you have Auction sniper, Auction Stealer, EZ Sniper, Bidnapper, and JustSnipe. These are all great software packages and they all work, I have been using Auction Sniper for years with no problem.

A few weeks ago I ran out of free snipes on Auction Sniper and decided to see if there was a free sniping service.  Some were free (like Just Snipe) but it only offered one freebie per week. Then I found GIXEN.  At first I was very skeptical.  I thought, how is this free, I bet it doesn't work, I bet I'm going to get a bill.  Then I started to use it and all my negativity went away.  Here is the skinny, you log on to it using your eBay name and password (just like all the auction sniper sites), then just start adding the auctions and the max dollars you are willing to pay. Modify them and adjust them any way you want.  The only thing holding you back is you can only run 10 auction snipes at any one time.

For most people 10 concurrent snipes would be plenty but sometimes I am running up to 20-25 at a time (I add some just to see where the bidding goes).  Well that's where GIXEN make's their money, if you want to have more than 10 snipes at a time, you need to buy the mirror package for a whopping 6 bucks a year.  Now I'm not going to lie and say it's perfect, because with outside sniping, there is always a risk that you may not get your bid in. Overall though I have never had an issue with it and I find it to be pretty reliable.  I hate letting people in on these secrets but it's really worth trying.

Just to let you know, I am in no way affiliated with GIXEN and I don't make any money by talking about them on my blog.  I was just so excited about finding a reliable free auction sniping service I had to pass it on.  If you already use it, leave some feedback as to how you like or dislike it.  Like I said I get nothing for this and if someone has had issues I'd rather know now before it's too late. So give it a shot and let me know what you think.

Grande sforzo organizzativo, che ha costretto Alberto Perdisa a non regatare per essere presente ovunque, partecipanti alla gara degni di una regata di altissimo livello come a Sanremo nei tempi dei Solerio's, profusione di mezzi nello scontro tra le velerie italiche (Zaoli a supporto di Bethelem e Olimpic con diversi equipaggi) con gommoni appoggio ed effetti speciali; due distinti campi di regata per Snipe e Dinghy, imponenti mezzi di assistenza, tempo buono, caldo e umidissimo di sera, emozionante gara di Kart, anche troppo per certi versi, ore piccole tutte le sere per il desinare (sponsor occulto della manifestazione il chiosco della piadina vicino al circolo, gettonatissimo da chi aveva partecipato ad edizione precedente e sapeva). Molta invidia per il campo di regata, fondale medio metri 7, movimenti di boe continui, come i salti di vento, spesso con girasole. Corrente 125, non avevamo il trasformatore e abbiamo dovuto subirla. Onda adriatica il sabato, quella che fa rinculare le barche pur essendo alta pochi centimetri. L'atmosfera tra i competitor italiana resa rilassata dalla impossibilità di entrare tra i premiati, prudente Fantoni in partenza. Vento non abbondante, ma tale da permettere sette regolari prove. La spedizione sabazia ha avuto un notevole successo: nessun ferito, nessuna protesta nonostante la palese sordità dei più anziani del gruppo che a chi chiedeva di fare giri rispondevano torcendo la testa, modeste litigate a terra sulle modalità di lavaggio delle barche, un grande Frusone nel Kart, che ha partecipato alla Finale A. Buona accoglienza per il bando di Vacanze Romane, si preannuncia la presenza di una new entry della classe, Ceccarelli, notissimo progettista anche di barche di America's Cup. Primo degli italiani Enrico Michel che dopo il recentissimo lutto tornava ad onorare la memoria del padre con la barca listata a lutto.

Nel prepartenza della prima regata è stata calata in acqua una corona per Sergio.

Con grande gentilezza Enrico ha accettato che la Coppa dei Dinghy nell'ambito di Vacanze Romane, fosse intitolata a Sergio Michel.

Disputate tre prove, tutte al sabato, in condizioni tutt'altro che rilassanti.. molto molto gradevole invece è stata l'accoglienza e l'ospitalità degli organizzatori.. qui una diapositiva del nostro DS che si cimenta con l'ospitalità aprutina.

Alla fine dei giochi i nostri equipaggi hanno chiuso 19, 20 e 21.. su 39 partenti, ad un punto di distanza l'uno dall'altro (i nostri equipaggi, non i 39 partenti).. quando si dice la regolarità!

Sul podio altri due equipaggi quartazzonari, però di quelli della categoria "extra-terrestri"..

augurale o meno, domenica scorsa, su due diversi campi di regata, in Classi diverse, diverse barche sabbazziesche hanno girato boe prime e seconde, chiudendo anche con piazzamenti molto alti in Classifica

come il nostro Presidente nei Dinghy al "Trofeo del Fiasco" ed il nostro DS allo Zonale Snipe!

per la domenica che sta arrivando va segnalato che lo Zonale Snipe in calendario "sembrava" essere in Calendario, nel senso che trattavasi di refuso, quindi NIENTE ZONALE SNIPE DOMANI SUL LAGO DI BRACCIANO.. ma non per questo dovrebbe mancare qualche beccaccia in uscita.. anche perchè dalle ultimissime sembra che per domani il meteo non sarà strepitoso ma almeno praticabile, visto che il vero diluvio sarà tra lunedì e martedì.. che c'è?? hai impegni in scooter?

PS: ancora è assolutamnete prematuro per dirlo.. infatti qui non lo si dirà.. ma pare che si stiano determinando le condizioni per un "estensione" del Trofeo302 (altrimento noto come t302).. il PolitBuro del t302 ha tenuto nei giorni scorsi un round informale per valutare questa possibilità.. e se le condizioni necessarie si dovessero verificare.. insomma: dita incrociate!!

PPS: allo scrivente il sorriso l'hanno tolto quando ha saputo che lo Zonale non si sarebbe fatto.. del resto all'idea di quanti avevano fatto sega a quello di domenica scorsa confidando in un pronto recupero in quello di domenica prossima.. ..non basta a ridare il sorriso.. ma sicuramente aiuta!!!

Chacune des cibles désignées à l'avance par Riki, parfois très éloignées, ont été atteintes du premier coup. Parfois il s'agissait de tronc de pins gros comme le bras.

Rikimaru procède à d'ultimes tests, car la journée est bien avancée. On distingue ses protèges coudes.

La journée s'achèvera bientôt. Voici une photo, ou l'on peut tout à loisir observer (et admirer) la ligne très particulière de cette belle réplique. Avec son bipied et sa crosse ajustable l'ergonomie et la stabilité sont au rendez-vous. L'utilisation de protèges coudes et genoux n'est pas un luxe. le grossissement de la lunette est adaptée à l'utilisation en airsoft. Riki à éffectué les principaux réglages de base et est déjà très satisfait de la puissance et de la précision qui en découle. Je pense que son achat l'a comblé. Il est déjà excelent sniper dans les jeux vidéos et c'est une acquisition qui correspond bien à sa personnalité. Je sens que les parties vont êtres beaucoup plus difficiles maintenant pour ceux qui seront contre lui. Par contre il aura intérêt à faire mouche du premier coup…

Détails du snipe en bandoulière. Bandoulière qui soit dit en passant, devra rapidement être remplacée, car celle-ci elle est un peu « légère » par rapport à la qualité du reste du pack, et présente déjà des signes de faiblesse.

Afin de tester son sniper en situation, moi et Cyril nous tirons sur Rikimaru embusqué à l'autre bout.

Le bipied assure une bonne stabilité du snipe. Il semblerai que ce bipied en apparence simple ne soit pas des plus aisés à monter. Peut-être est-ce une question d'habitude. De toutes façons Rikimaru ne s'amusera pas à l'enlever et à le remettre à chaque fois. Il s'installe une fois pour toutes.

Maintenant c'est la fin de la journée. La reprise a été dure, et en plus des impacts de billes, Kasumi et moi avons mal au dos. Le poids du G36C s'est bien fait sentir dans les bras au bout de ce premier après-midi d'airsoft. Donc place à des activités plus calmes comme le réglage du snipe.

Le danze si aprono sabato, con il "Trofeo del Fiasco", organizzato dal Tiberino che per quel che riguarda il sabbazzietto coinvolgerà i dinghy..

Domenica, oltre alla seconda giornata del "Fiasco", arriva il II Zonale Snipe della IV Zona, uno di quelli che varrà anche per la Ranking Nazionale..

tutte le info disponibili per lo Zonale clikkando qui, oppure guardando l'immagine sopra (via GoogleEarth).. che non vuol dire che il campo di regata sarà a 4,7 miglia dal sabbazzietto.. bensì che sarà "entro" le 4,7 miglia dal sabbazzietto!

A questo punto rimane solo da sperare che l'adesione sia numerosa.. per il resto..

PS: il T302 questa volta non andrà in onda causa assenteismo della metà "malvagia" del Trofeo.. a quanto si dice trattenuta altrove da sedicenti impegni velico-giurisprudenziali..

Sole limpido, aria tersa e profumata, domenica scorsa, con un libeccioide che era e non era, di sicuro con una pervicace tendenza ad andarsene, in maniera rigorosamente irregolare, verso destra, tre beccacce sabbazziesche hanno preso il largo per quello che alla fine si è rivelato un mini-nastroazzuro (leggi: giro del lago), complici anche i 7metrarelli (metro più metro meno) che pettinavano le acque lacustri.

Da segnalare le secchiate prese dalle onde cubiche che si erano formate nella metà est del Lago, con una zona dove arrivavano quelle riflesse dal litorale, con il risultato di trasformare il tutto in una specie di piccolo-rodeo-meccanico su trenini di onda perfettamente incrociati, ossia uno arrivava di prua e l'altro di poppa.

Di notevole soddisfazione il giro diportistico, con un Lago particolarmente affollato: almeno 2 campi di regata più altri campetti di allenamento qua e là.

Impagabili i laschi sotto alla sponda più "Lacandona" (nel senso di "selva"..) del Lago di Bracciano, che sarebbe quella di Vicarello.. che il Cielo la protegga dai palazzinari!

Notevoli anche i colori degli Hobie16 che si sono sparati tre prove attorno ad un triangolo che giravano tre volte forse in mezz'ora??.. il confronto con le infinite boline de noantri è imbarazzante.. e lasciamo perdere il fatto che loro non abbiano le cinghie!

Il rientro si chiudeva con una poppona che è finita con più onda che vento, e poi nemmeno con quella.

Il Circolo è pronto al 97,8% (sorvoliamo sulla precisione del dato..), roseti compresi, ormai prossimi a fioriture parossistiche.

Imbarazzante il silenzio dell'arenile in queste giornate di sole: abituati a bel altri "climi acustici", trovarsi solo con la risacca e lo stormire delle foglie spiazza alcuni..che infatti stanno pensando ad installare una punzonatrice-industriale di fianco alla propria barca!

Domenica prossima i sabbazziari dovrebbero prendere il Lago in massa: Zonale Snipe organizzato dal Planet e Zonale Dinghy (Trofeo del Fiasco) organizzato dal Tiberino, come si avranno verranno pubblicati i relativi Bandi di Regata.. e se non si avranno si tratterà come sempre di uscire verso una certa e puntare verso centro Lago, presumendo che si sia tutti in grado di riconoscere altre barche uguali a quella sulla quale si è!

..per il resto lo scrivente continua ad accarezzare (segretamente) l'idea dell'esproprio coatto delle barche inattive.. ops!

Effective politicians have learned that through the manipulation and creation of emotion, people can be persuaded more easily than a combination of the best public speech. Whether truthful or engineered, that is where the human voice of feeling comes into play.

Keeping cool when under fire cannot be understated, especially in a world of emotional beings in a tense or unstable situation. The reality of the U.S. economic situation is exactly this kind of scene. Sometimes, keeping your mouth shut is the best medicine. There are times when biting your tongue in silence is better than feeding the constant need to defend yourself.

That would seem to be the case in this election year. The senator, Barack Obama has been the constant brunt of emotional “trash talk” by his competitors. Many citizens, even the best of them are able to be swayed by creative emotional releases with little substance. What many citizens fail to realize is that the people that exhibit behaviors will continue to repeat those behaviors and more behaviors like them. Behavior is one measure of the character of a person.

The verbal snipe seems to be the successful in politics because verbal sniping often seems to work. Because of the nature of being human, sniping is easy. Most people of substance and character have something that can be used to hunt them down. Criticism from a safe distance is often the easiest attack, but sniping usually shows disrespect, petulant attitude and sarcasm.

Loose lips have been said to sink ships. What most folks fail to realize is that the sniper is the one that benefits most from the activity, even when the charge has little or no element of truth. Distortion of the truth is a potential gold mine for the verbal snipe.

Unfortunately, emotional beings that we are, we often accept the verbal snipe as fact when the quibble revolves around some aspect of morality or deeply held belief and longing. The need to be right is a human reaction, even when there is little or no basis for it. Then, the misled listeners tend to drift toward the position of attacker.

Verbal sniping among contenders shows bad faith and malicious attack under most circumstances. The United States citizen often buys into the idea that knowing someone makes a person dirty. This standard has been continually misapplied and heralded by the media and we buy it.

Politicians are politicians. By necessity, they associate with one another and others that are involved in the same world. Applying this standard sullies all of them when applied universally. The argument can be made that corruption begets corruption. How far you desire to take a fair judgment needs to be uniform and consistent.

Honorable people exist among some of the most base and corrupt. The job of the American public is to know what honor really is and enough about the politician to make the best choice possible.

The largest issue that the government faces is not individual issues, but the character of the person that holds office, whether in the executive, judicial or legislative branch. Pettiness is usually not recognized or is confused as dealing with the issues when it is not. The American public has continually made poor choices based what was represented as issues over the character of the person. That short-sightedness is exactly why the nation is where it is today. As a result, the U.S. Constitution and the founding documents of the country have been sidelined. As a result, the form and function of the country has suffered to a great degree. Collectively, we have corrupted our own society and government because we have refused to hold to the original standards that made this country what it is.

This land needs a change. If you believe in conspiracies and the control of secret societies, you probably hold that no attempt at change can possibly yield the results you long for. This is a cop-out to avoid your part in the process along with any hope of change for the better. What you say and what you do is important to the process of the nation as long as it exists. Banish the old thinking of corruption regardless of reward. America needs to get out of wilderness thinking and be willing to look beyond the current reality. Fear and selfishness is exactly what has brought us here. The thinking that is in place is exactly why America is in the wilderness of its’ own collective mind.
