If you are a high school senior, then read this!

You have worked hard throughout high school to improve your reading ability and now college lies in front of you. However, it doesn’t stop there; you must continually raise your reading ability throughout the four years of college. It sometimes happens that students focus so much on getting the work done for their courses that their reading ability slips in college. Remember, the best way to improve reading skills is by actually reading.

Here’s a sample of what will be expected of you in your senior year of college (the links are for sample questions for the GRE, MCAT and LSAT exams):

http://www.kaptest.com/Graduate/GRE/Practice-for-the-GRE/GRE-Practice-Questions/GR_gre_qreading.html

http://www.kaptest.com/Pre-Med/MCAT/Practice-the-MCAT/Free-MCAT-Practice/PM_mcat_qverbal.html?cid=301371

http://www.kaptest.com/Law/LSAT/Practice-LSAT/comparative-reading.html?cid=301574

As you can see from the sample questions, your reading comprehension is expected to be much greater than it was when you took the SAT or ACT exams. Moreover, it won’t improve spontaneously through taking college courses—you must actively work to improve your reading comprehension. [Also, note that the MCAT exam (the entrance exam for medical school) is heavily weighted toward reading and only indirectly tests your math ability.]

You can start your preparation for college by reviewing the principle tenets of good reading technique (SQ3R). Lynchburg College has them listed here:

http://www.lynchburg.edu/x2416.xml

Improving your reading ability starts with good strategy. Many college courses overload students with reading material. Unfortunately, some students fall behind and respond by spending hours at a time reading just to catch up. It is much better to do focused reading for 40-minute periods, take a 5-minute break, and then read for another 40-minute period. During your break, get up and walk around, step outside, and stretch. The problem with reading for hours on end is in the difficulty to focus—your mind starts to wander—and then you are no longer actively reading. Providence College has further tips on reading strategy:

http://www.providence.edu/OAS/Shop/Reading.htm

If you are not satisfied with your current reading ability, start working now to improve it. Improving reading skills takes time—it can take up to two years of persistent work. Remember, the first thing to do is to increase the number of pages of material you read each and every day. Cuesta College has an in-depth packet of information designed to help you improve your reading skills: http://academic.cuesta.edu/acasupp/AS/300INDEX.HTM

Muskingum College, too, has an in-depth discussion of things to do to improve reading comprehension. They also discuss strategy for doing well on the reading portions of standardized tests: http://www.muskingum.edu/~cal/database/general/reading.html

Finally, you should be aware that many college courses are reading intensive—that is, they overload the student with reading material. You cannot hope to follow the same strategy you did in high school of reading everything thoroughly. You must learn how to skim and yet retain what is necessary to pass the course. Professor Burke of Swarthmore College has some excellent advice on handling this situation in his blog, Easily Distracted, but make sure you pay attention to the addendum at the end of his post. The advice he gives will help you transition from high school to college level reading: http://weblogs.swarthmore.edu/burke/?page_id=84

Ohai!

I'm proud to announce that the first tests of LOLBoard were succesful!

This weekend I went out to sea and was lucky enough to find a great place to test the damn thing and actually *learn* to skim :)
It felt like the board`s gliding characteristics could have been better, but it might as well be just my lack of experience - we'll see.

The next up was a kite-skimming experiment - also a success, despite the low wind (only about 4 m/s).

The second day we went wakeboarding in a place nearby and I also gave the LOLBoard a try at wakesurfing. Sadly, the board felt too small to be comfortably surfable, although a bigger wave might help.

Well, the only thing left to try is waves. Before trying that, I should get comfortable skimming the pond and hitting the board right every time.
For now, this is the end of the story. If you'd like to find out more, drop me a line. See ya'!

Australia:

Later this month, fifteen individuals representing the credit union industry will travel to Cambodia to provide insight and help strengthen the CU movement in that nation. Australia's credit unions have evolved from offering credit to those who can get it at mainstream banks to offering a real alternative, and they believe that Cambodia can develop a similar system.

Canada:

While skimming scams in North America are relatively rare, an undetermined number of Winnipeg residents have fallen victim to exactly that. The scam, which involves installing a credit/debit card 'reader' that harvests your card's information while conducting a transaction, has affected at least two financial institutions. Winnipeg police are investigating the matter, and cards suspected of fraud are being canceled. The skimmer's location has not yet been determined.

British Columbia's credit unions had a positive overall performance in 2007. B.C.'s 48 credit unions earned $261 million before taxes and dividends, assets jumped 9.5%, and while mortgage loans compromised 68% of their combined lending portfolio, loan delinquency rates (90 past due or longer) remained a low 0.21% of total loan value.

India:

A group of executives representing rural credit cooperatives recently visited Las Vegas to learn more about America's Credit Unions and how they operate. Executives in India want to reform the credit union system, specifically by separating the credit unions from the government entities that run them. The largest credit union movement in the world (in terms of total members and institutions) wants a system more like that of the U.S.: regulated, but not run, by government.

Ireland:

CUNA Mutual, based in Madison, Wisconsin, USA, opened a new European headquarters in Dublin on May 1, and announced it was expanding their operations on the continent. In addition to the Dublin office, CUNA has international operations in Australia, Canada, South Korea, and Latin America.

United Kingdom:

The credit crunch has continued to have a devastating effect on Britain's homeowners. Last year, 95,374 repossession orders were issued, the highest since the housing crash of the early 1990s. With a general economic downturn combined with 1.4 million homes facing renegotiated rates, 2008 looks to be even worse. The Bank of England estimates that the average rate on a renegotiated loan will jump 2.5%.

How Do Criminals Steal Their Information?

To an identity theft criminal, your personal information can provide instant access to your credit r

To an identity theft criminal, your personal information can provide instant access to your credit record, financial accounts, or other assets. There are many ways that criminals can get your information.

"Telephone Pretexting ". Getting your information can be as simple as someone calling you on the phone and representing themselves as someone you normally do business with, like a local store, your doctor's office, or your bank. You think nothing of it and somehow, you have given them your credit card number or other information.

Or someone allegedly from the IRS calls and says they are processing your refund and need some additional information. Thinking only of how you are going to spend your refund, you give them the information.

"Skimming" involves using hand held computers to read and store the information encoded on the magnetic strip of an ATM or credit card when it is used legitimately. Once stored, the information can be entered onto any other card with a magnetic strip. This can also be done manually by anyone who has access to your credit card by just coping or memorizing your number when you hand your credit card to a business.

"Phishing" is the act of sending false emails proclaiming that they are from your bank or Ebay or PayPal, and asking you to enter your personal information to clear an alleged "problem". They can be as elaborate as setting up fake web sites that look just like the real ones.

"Shoulder surfing" involves people watching you from a nearby location as you enter a credit card number or pin number.

"Dumpster diving" is well known for people going through your curbside garbage or at your place of business to obtain copies of statements, checks, credit card offers, making it easier for thieves to get control over your accounts. With the amount of junk mail you get, you think nothing of just tossing it into the trash, including all those annoying credit card applications and other mail you are through reading.

"Unlocked mail boxes" allow thieves to intercept and redirect your mail to another location so bills or bank statements showing unauthorized withdrawals will never be seen by you until after the damage is done.

"Keyloggers" are programs placed in your computer after someone has hacked into it which then logs your keystrokes to get your pin numbers or password which are then used to steal your identity.

"Trojans" are programs that ride along on other applications or emails and come into your computer without your knowledge. Once your computer is infected, a hacker can use the trojan program to open a "door" into your computer so they can access your personal files. (Remember the Trojan Horse story?)

"Physical Theft and Stealing" People still carry around their Social Security number in their wallet, either the card itself or on identification cards (medical insurance, military cards, etc.), or they print their driver's license number on their checks. Carrying more than one or two credit cards are all easy ways by criminals to obtain your information if your wallet or purse is stolen.

Not only can your purse or wallet be stolen, but laptops or other information devices that are full of personal information can be stolen. Information can be taken from your employer's files, hospital records, school files or any place information about you is being stored.

"Address Changing" to redirect your mail. Or, a thief will open a new account in your name and change the address so you are not aware it exists.

"Hacking". With today's technology, criminals can obtain your personal information without leaving the comfort of their own home. They can purchase your information through online databases, or can get it illegally by hacking into either your computer or into any database that has your information already stored.

"Spyware". In exchange for free software or services, often times spyware, sometimes known as "cookies", will be secretly placed into your computer. It may be as innocent as identifying your online surfing and spending habits, sending information to marketers every time you visit a website. Or, if it is a malicious spyware, it can gather personal information or even change your internet settings, causing a loss of your identity or crashing your computer.

Basically, anywhere you have provided information, from the earliest school, to your most recent medical visit, can be a target.

These are only some of the ways that thieves can access your personal information which once in hand, they can use to run up debts in the tens of thousands of dollars under your name, or impersonate you all to your detriment.

Identity Theft - How Did They Get My Credit Card Number? Bobby Noy Soulinthong Sentenced to Prison for "Skimming"

Almost a year ago I was at the annual convention for members of the National Speakers Association.

Almost a year ago I was at the annual convention for members of the National Speakers Association. As a professional speaker, I attempt to make that each year. This year held something special for me - something unexpected. Upon return home to Dallas, Texas I found that I had become a victim of identity theft.

How? How could it be that my debit card was being used in San Francisco to make purchases at a wig shop. I'll admit that while my hair is receding, I don't need a wig. Fortunately, I was able to stop the process before it got out of hand. But the question still remained - HOW?

I later found out I was a victim of "skimming". So what's that you might ask?

Well, a Texas, man, Bobby Noy Soulinthong, 26, who pled guilty to his role in a credit card “skimming” scheme, was sentenced to 18 months in prison. Other defendants, charged in separate indictments but involved in the same scheme, have also pled guilty and have been sentenced. Dung Ba Nguyen, 28, of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Bryan Nanthathongthip, 24, of Dallas, were each sentenced earlier this year to 12 months in prison. All three defendants were ordered to pay restitution.

Nguyen admitted purchasing stolen credit card account information that had been “skimmed” from restaurant customers, and admitted having more than 100 credit card account numbers stored on his personal “thumb drive.” Soulinthong and Nanthathongthip admitted purchasing goods from GameStop and Target with counterfeit debit cards, which they knew had been electronically encoded with a stolen account number.

The account numbers were stolen by a method known as “skimming.” Individuals working at North Texas restaurants surreptitiously recorded account numbers and other account information from the magnetic strips on restaurant customers’ credit and debit cards with a small hand-held device known as a “skimmer.” After purchasing the stolen account information, Nguyen encoded it onto other credit cards. Soulinthong and Nanthathongthip used the re-encoded cards to purchase consumer goods that they could then re-sell. The restaurant customers whose credit card information had been stolen would receive the bills for those purchases.

According to credit.com - Skimming – Thieves use tiny hand-held credit card readers to collect the information on your credit card’s magnetic strip. Skimming is common in restaurants and stores where you turn over your credit card to pay. When a skimming device is full of hundreds of credit card numbers, these numbers can be sold or used to create fake credit cards. Skimming devices can also be placed over the normal card reader on an ATM to steal your data when you try to withdraw money.

As a white collar crime speaker, often I am asked questions about how to protect yourself against identity theft. Many of the methods used can be avoided, but "skimming" is tough to avoid. When you go to the restaurant, you give your card to pay your bill and, hence, are relying on the honesty of the restaurants employees. Should one of them have been Soulinthong you may have been a victim of identity theft.

If you've been a victim of identity theft and have any comments or helpful hints to avoid this dreaded form of white collar crime - FEEL FREE TO COMMENT.

A good topic for those of you who go on shopping sprees during weekends:

A good topic for those of you who go on shopping sprees during weekends:

One of my friends living in Madrid, Spain, complained he’d lost a pretty good sum of money from his debit card. How come? He was told his card’s information as well as the PIN were stolen. They also mentioned “skimming”. So, I grew interested what it might be as it was not the first time I heard about the problem.

Googling the “skimming” issue I came across this:

At thief may at this moment be holding a perfect copy of your credit or debit card. Perhaps he's approaching the checkout line at a suburban Chicago department store with a cartload of shoes, clothes and electronics. Perhaps he's charging a room at a hotel in London. And you have no idea. Your card is secure in your wallet.

How could this happen?
And could it happen here?
It already has.

The debit cards of 21 southern Wisconsin residents were compromised in June and July. It's not clear precisely how or where it happened, but a recent report by a Rock County Sheriff's Department detective said is was a case of skimming.

Read below and see how this happens in reality and how to avoid these rRRReally unpleasant losses of your hard-earned money.

In the very beginning I would want to tell I had had no knowledge about the techniques I am going to showcase. That took me just one hour and something to get to know the issue in detail and find exemplifying pictures.

Thieves, who haunt credit and debit card information in order to withdraw your money, are very creative. They even acquired a special “ghastly” name of “skimmers”. Skimming has the only one goal – to read and copy the information of a card and be able to use it to get hold of a user’s money.

To reach this goal it is necessary to:

a/ copy the magnetic line of the card.
b/ know the PIN of the card.

COPYING THE CARD DATA:

Copying the magnetic line of the card can be done with the help of special skimming devices: card readers, which copy the data from the card. Such copies allow making duplicates of the card in innumerous quantities.

Here is a normal ATM

Here is an ATM with a skimming reader stuck to the original card hole.

Here is another example of a more subtle device, not so conspicuous.

Here goes another “skimmed” ATM:

Usually, such readers are built in ATMs, which are placed in lone places without video observation. The thieves can also place their devices at night, so that their deeds are not seen to the camera or passers-by. In Sweden local police also warns that it’s better to feel up the ATM before inserting the card, at all. There were cases that malefactors would stick a new “face” to ATM (wooden copies with small cameras and a skimming device in the back).

STEALING THE PIN:

Stealing the PIN is the hardest and most expensive part for a thief.

1) The thief needs either a microcamera to see the combination of figures introduced by the card’s “unlucky” owner. I found that such cameras may cost up to $ 6 000 in the black market. These cameras should be placed somewhere. See here what a possibility for that may be:

2) A fake keypad is another way to copy the PIN. It “remembers” the combination of figures. The problem here is to make the fake keypad look very very real!

I also googled and found that a skimmer’s kit costs around:
USD 200 – skimming device
USD 200 – a fake keypad
USD 2000 – 6000 – a micro camera

All in all, a fraud will need around USD 3 000 to start milking other people’s earnings from their cards.

My tips:

If you want to avoid being a milking cow, take these simple tips into account:

--> lone standing ATMs placed in inconspicuous places are potentially skimmed!
--> see for any kind of skimming devices in the ATM you’re about to use!
--> have a look at the ATM – make sure it’s face was not masked by a fake make-up!
--> cover your hand with your other hand whenever you enter your PIN!
--> be sure the keypad is real and that it has no other “extra” layers!
--> be sure there are no pending, strange or suspicious flyer holders or anything else, harboring a camera.

I hope this piece of information was useful and you will be on the watch. Keep your money safe even in your card!

"Invention precedes structure"
(qtd. Corder: "What I learned at School?"

How do I read Professor Ulmer's book?

Fair question, given the complexity of the book, the writing, and his vocabulary. Like many of you who have raised this question, Ulmer's students have expressed similar viewpoints (See Ulmer, Student Sites/Projects). While his vocabulary may prove difficult for entering students in Composition and Rhetoric: Research Unit, we would not value or privilege a college-level textbook whose audience included secondary students attending high school class or junior high school classes. The kind of text we seek is one that challenges what we know, what we assume to be true or false, factual and opinion--anything less would produce illiteracy. Thus, literacy must involved the reading of challenging texts and the development of one's vocabulary, experimentation with new words (even when used incorrectly--better to make the effort than not at all).

Anecdotally, I have read Professor Ulmer's book a minimum of three readings, if not four complete times, and in a single setting. Perhaps the college classroom and schedule constraints prevent our class from reading the book from cover-to-cover before completing any single assignment or exercise. At any rate, there is great value in reading practices. However, most college students depend upon the single reading by using the skill of skimming texts, chapters, essays, in order to determine the author's goals and objectives for the writing itself.

Clearly, Ulmer offers the textbook as a kind of workbook coupled with the development of a website, a kind of web-folio, wherein students may publish her or his work and, then, at the end-of-the-semester review the webfolio as an example of one's progress and growth (Sample Student Widesites.

Thus, a few RECOMMENDATIONS for reading Ulmer's book:

First, identify the objectives and goals for the book--and, according to Ulmer: from the writers' perspective and not our own point of view (i.e., what we think or believe). Rather, what does Ulmer think and believe?

Second, skim each chapter as it is assigned.

Third, circle unfamilar words and phrases;

Fourth, underline words and phrases for the development of a "Critical Dictionary." --a link will be provided for that purpose. Look any and all unfamiliar words: consider the definitions for the word(s) and phrase(s), then consider how you might illustrate the concept or idea visually or graphically. You might use pictures from the web [(record the URL address site(s)]. Write definitions for the terms.

Fifth, outline the chapter--EVERY chapter by arranging in "formal outline" pattern for constructing the outline: [(I. A. 1. (a)]. You should become familiar with the outlining feature of MS Word, if you are not already familiar with it.

Sixth, in "Mystory" (Chapter One): Understand that each chapter in his book follows the same basic pattern of arrangement: First, he provides a lecture; then, he provides an assignment used to explore one's understanding of the lecture, followed by, an example. The examples serve, then, as "the model answer." Thus, your completed exercise should imitate the example provided.

Seventh, following each example, then; Ulmer provides "Comments." The "Comments" box is shaded in grey and appears before the exercise, or after the comments for the previous lesson.

For example:

In Chapter 1, Ulmer introduces disciplinary discourse and, then, assigns career discourse for exploration and research. At this point, you should be gathering materials from research about your invention, inventor, field of study or discpline. Then, select an invention, inventor, or major course of study for research. Finally, conduct your research while maintaining a Works Cited page, or the alphabetical list of sources consulted or used in your research. In order to complete the assignment, you'll need to consult the examples provided--examples written by other college students in the same or similar class at The University of Florida.

The key is, I think, to research, re-search, re-re-research, over-and again, until you understand the goals of the assignment: define unfamiliar words; underline phrases; outline the chapter; close the book and summarize in your words and style of communication the topic, goals, subject, assignment of the chapter. Then, once you have completed the assignment, ask one person from the class to review your response to your own work; to make any revisions or corrections needed; to redefine the focus of your mini-window. Also, you may find it helpful to research the theorist, theory, source, or citation provided by Professor Ulmer in his book.

By mini-window, I am referring to the exercises used reflect the step-by-step development (vis-a-vis) the exercises. The widesite, then, will not be completed until the book has been completed, and each exercise required to implement the widesite.

If you have additional questions, or require further elaboration, let Professor de la Torre entertain your questions, or contact me via e-mail and/or class.

I admit, this is one of my mistakes, I have been skimming.

I recently noticed that I don't remember little details about some issues. I asked myself what's the reason for this and I found out. I have been reading everything from daily news to books and reports so quickly. I think pressure and lack of time are main reasons for this attitude.

I'm confessing my mistake and I promise to be more professional in my reading in the future.

I heared that there are special courses to teach people fast reading or skimming. I mean do we have to attend a course to do that? Don't we do this on daily basis without even thinking about it? Our time is running ridiculously out of our hand and we do a lot of things as quickly as we can?

My philosophy was always to give the right time to everything I do. Working, reading, learning, eating, sleeping, relaxing, everything has a time of its own.

I learned that skimming can make people aware of certain things and can make them able to talk the language and understand what is told to them, but it will never make you know practically knowledgeable.

Skimming is amazing, I love it. I love the beach, I love anything to do with the beach, I will never leave you sweetheart. But with love comes respect. Recently I had been making trips down to The Wedge they have been going very well, because I had been spending so much time at The Wedge, I lost some of the respect for the power.

There is a place next to The Wedge, known as Cylinders. The place is epic shore break, notorious for large, very large shore break. Sounds good right? Technically it is, but it is even more dangerous than The Wedge. So, not thinking, I went out for a ride, the ride was going well until I caught a rail and fell, not a big deal. That was the biggest mistake of my life. I ended up getting caught in a 12 second swell of waves varying any where from 4-10 ft. The set lasted about 6 minute. The longest 6 minutes of my life.

Although the scare that this caused me that day, which was Monday, 24th. It has no way made me look at skimming any new way other than, don't suck and it wont happen. But I have gained a new level of respect of the ocean.

This was the first picture of the un-touched board. It is so sexy!

This picture was taken after all of the pads and wax were place on it.

I sent this in as art to Exile Skimboards.

So I guess a word to the wise is, learn from my example, and respect the ocean. It can kill you if it wants to.

Stowe Boyd is angry that Scoble doesn't provide a transcript for his videos. He doesn't have 30 minutes to watch a video. Frankly, neither have I.

Increasingly, I don't have patience for 1 hour, or even 20 minutes or 5 to watch the news. Not even when I get it conveniently delivered to Miro every day. I do want the video content. But video is so out of sync with the basic principle of Hyper-time skimming that I lose interest in 30 seconds flat.

To skim videos, I want a table of contents in a sidebar - preferably an expandable outline. If a topic fails to catch my interest, I'll go on to the next. And I want to be able to jump straight to the 1 minute that I really want to see.

Viddler gets it. Time-marked comments and tags, who-hooo! Leaving it all to the community, however, is not enough. Video content creators need to provide at least an initial structure.

Luen tekstin Market segmentation: Targeting of Segments. Siinä esitellään kolme markkinoinnin peruskategoriaa. Sanastolle hyvää kertausta. Tehtävä 6.2 tuntuu omituiselta, kun verbeille pitää etsiä vähän satunnaisia jatkoja artikkelista. Ehkä tässä kuitenkin oppi tekstin silmäilyä. Ainakin minä jouduin käymään tekstin lukuisia kertoja läpi, koska monet annetuista jatkovaihtoehdoista sopivat usemapaan verbiin.

Palasin eilen illalla Oslosta kokouksesta, jossa tietenkin puhuttiin pari päivää vain englantia. Huomasin taas, miten hyvin puhuminen sujuu verrattuna kirjoittamiseen. Yksi viikonlopuna oppimistani sanoista oli pentecost eli helluntai. Olin melkein unohtanut sen olemassaolon, vaikka muualla maailmassa on tänään jopa vapaapäivä.

Nyt tartuin työhön tarkistamalla muutamat viimeksi hämäräksi jääneet sanat. Brusque on siis töykeä, epäystävällinen tai jyrkkä. Impose a tariff puolestaan tarkoittaa tariffin säätämistä. Perustin näitä vaikeita sanoja varten sanasivun, josta voin sitten tenttiä varten kerrata.

Nyt vuorossa on kysymyksiä tekstistä 2. eli vastaukset tehtävään 2.1.A.

1. Meaning of intra-firm?
Something that happens inside a firm, without any partners.

2. Why are partners often formed?
In partnerships cooperation replaces competition in supply chain. That reduces risk and increases information flows.

3. How can economic risks of global production and marketing be reduced?
By working side by side to produce and market products.

4. Why do multinational shift resources from country to another?
To maximize profits and productivity.

5. Why is it difficult to target trade policies effectively?
Because of globalization

6. What must companies do to remain competitive today?
They must adapt to global marketplace.

7. What does the following phrase mean: "a signed contract is considered all but sacrosanct"?
A signed contract is not kept as untouchable, but can be changed.

8. Explain what is meant by "the spirit of the agreement can sometimes matter more than the letter".
The ideas that are behind the contract and the common process might be more important than the wordings in the contract.

9. What is meant by the "get down to business" approach?
I think the text does not give an answer to this, but it's only said that it might be considered as harsh in Japan or Korea.

Luen vielä tekstin The International Manager (3) ja vastaan kysymyksiin. En mitenkään keksi, mikä voi olla synonyymi ajatukselle supported by very good reasons. Muutenkaan ilmaukset eivät mielestäni vastaa kovin hyvin tekstissä olevia, sillä minusta tuntuu, että ymmärrän tekstistä sekä kaikki sanat että laajemmat merkitykset, mutten silti meinaa löytää yhteyksiä. Lisää harjoitusta siis.

Eilen matkalla Turusta Helsinkiin avasin tehtäväpumakan ja ryhdyin töihin. Ensimmäinen jakso käsittelee kauppaa ja tehtävänä oli Skim through the text nimeltään Is the Customer Always Right?

Tekstissä vertaillaan kaupunkäynnin tapoja afrikkalaisista basaareista sofistikoituneisiin jenkkiravintoloihin. Sanasto oli jokseenkin tuttua. Tosin tehtävistä se, jossa piti etsiä synonyymi ilmaukselle the ways we think about life tuntui haastavalta. Culture ei tunnu osuvalta muttei myöskään the way we see ourselves and our relationships with other people.

Saman tien skimmasin toisenkin tekstin otsikolla Working Across Borders. Siinä muutama uusi sana kuten brusque. Tehtävä jäi kuitenkin kesken.

Tänään on tehtävä muita töitä ja huomenna lähden Osloon. Takaisint ehtävien pariin siis maanantaina.

TONY (written while he was in jail)
I don't know how many people remember the old horse and milk wagon that used to go around the streets picking up empty bottles and replacing them with fresh bottles of milk. When I was about eight years old, the milkman would pay me 2 cents a bottle. Some customers would put their weekly milk payments on top of their empties on the porch; they were always people who lived in big houses and who had big money. My family had to live too, so a few bucks here and there plus my $1.50 per day helped us stay alive.

--------
PS: Tony has a court date on Monday, Feb 26. It's also his 58th birthday.
