»Sine Music« veröffentlicht neue Chillout-Compilation

Nachdem das Label Sine Music gerade erst mit ihrer Chillout-Compilation „Cosmic Chill Lounge Vol.2“ weltweit Toppositionen in einigen Download-Charts wie iTunes und Beatport landen konnte, melden sie sich jetzt rechtzeitig zum Hoch Sommer mit der Compilation „Cool Off Chillout" zurück. Sie erscheint am 18 Juli 2008 offiziell als digital Release bei den Download Stores, wie iTunes, Musicload, Beatport etc.

Und der Name ist wahrlich Programm - 14 Chillout und Lounge Titel mit knapp 80 Minuten Spielzeit zum relaxen und abkühlen an heißen Tagen. În general, însuşi obiceiul nostru uman de a ne încrede în noi înşine este ultimul mare obstacol care blochează calea noastră spre victorie, în trăirea creştină.

Putem învăţa mult din experienţa Lui Pavel şi din smerenia mărturiilor sale: "Ştiu într-adevăr că nimic bun nu locuieşte în mine" (Romani 7:18a).El a descoperit faptul că, pentru a fi predat lui Dumnezeu şi voii Sale, mai întâi trebuia să aungă în punctul neîncrederii totale şi radicale în sine

Presupun că cea mai bună şi cea mai uşoară cale de a afla că nu eşti bun de nimic, este ca Dumnezeu să-ţi lumineze sufletul deodată cu această cunoaştere. O altă cale prin care noi suntem nevoiţi să învăţăm această lecţie din partea Lui Dumnezeu este cea a nenorocirilor aspre.

De asemenea există o a treia cale prin care Dumnezeu poate să se ocupe de slăbiciunea noastră de a ne încrede în sine. Dacă studiem Biblia, suntem familiari cu această metodă pentru că ea este disciplinarea diverselor ispite.

Nimeni dintre noi nu poate spune, în adevăr, cât de slabi şi nefolositori suntem, până cândDumnezeu nu ne demască; şi nimeni nu vrea să fie demascat! Dar Dumnezeu ştie mult mai bine decât noi că El trebuie să facă lucrul aceasta pentru binele nostru.

Oh, El este Dumnezeul nostru şi acesta este sfatul meu: Iubiţi-L, încredeţi-vă în El şi depindeţi numai de El! Dacă ne încredem în noi înşine, în pregătirea noastră, în educaţia noastră, în talentele şi raţionamentul nostru uman, îl facem pe Dumnezeu mai mic decât este în realitate şi pe om îl facem mai mare decât ceea ce este! Noi luăm slava de la Dumnezeu şi o dăm sinelui nostru mântuit şi sfinţit. Acest lucru este ruşinos, pentru că ia de la Dumnezeu încrederea ultimă şi decisivă de care este vrednic.

Unii oameni insistă asupra faptului că pocăinţa şi iertarea trebuie să fie o chestiune lungită, dar eu nu sunt de acord că trebuie să fie neapărat aşa. Eu cred că cea mai bună pocăinţă este să te întorci la Dumnezeu, să te îndepărtezi de păcat şi să nu-l mai faci!

Aceasta este cea mai bună pocăinţă din toată lumea. De ce ne ia aşa mult timp să ne punem toată încrederea în Dumnezeu, când El a făcut lucrul acesta să fie ceva atât de simplu şi care aduce atâtea răsplătiri, atunci când ne predăm în totalitate Lui?

As followers of Jesus, it is important to recognize that our first loyalty is not only to God but to the transnational community of God's people. We are an alien community, in every nation, that seeks to reflect a different way of life than the culture around us. That includes Jesus' admonition that we love our enemies. Like the imagery of the mustard seed becoming a sheltering tree for all nations, we need to be a source of God's peace and reconciliation among peoples.

Sine and Cos Graphs Differentiating sin and cos

This is the basics of the sine cos and tan graphs and how sine and cos relate to give you tan. It also shows how to differentiate sin and cos.

The output or range of both sine and cos is from -1 to 1 when given any angle. They can be shown on a graph where y = sin(x) and y = cos(x). In these graphs all the angles go along the x axis and you can see a wave type shape is formed

As you can see both the sin and cos graphs move periodically between -1 and 1 as the angles change, this pattern continues indefinitely because once you pass 360 degrees or 2 pi radians you will return back to the beginning. If you try to perform sin^-1 of a value out side the range -1 to 1 you will get an error.

Differentiate Sin and Cos
also notice that the gradient of the sin graph is the value of the cos graph for the same angle and that the gradient of the cos graph is the -value of the sin graph for that angle. This means that we can differentiate the sin and cos graphs:
if f(x) = sin(x) then f ' (x)=cos(x)
and
if f(x) = cos(x) then f ' (x) = -sin(x)

however if we use ax instead of x we must differentiate it by bringing the a out, when its just x this doesn't matter as the differential of x is 1.
ie)
let y = sin(f(x))
now let u = f(x)
du/dx = f ' (x)
also
y=sin(u) as u = f(x)
dy/du = cos(u)

from the chain rule

dy/dx = du/dx * dy/du
therefore
if y = sin(f(x))
dy/dx = f ' (x)cos(f(x))

and similarly for cos
if y = cos(f(x))
dy/dx = -f ' (x)sin(f(x))

[DoDS] Avanj's Material Wall SineHack

Over the last few weeks I have decided to try and bring the best material hack styles from CS:S to DoD:S because of the lack of releases for DoD:S. One of my favorite CS:S material hack, and many other peoples favorites are the SineHack material walls. I decided to make them for dods also because i was sick of the style that FS wallhack uses after using them for so long(No offense). This supports all VALVe made maps and dod_omaha and dod_orange_fight maps.If you do not know what the sinehack method is, it is a method that keeps the original wall look and texture and makes it transparent. This makes the game look a lot "prettier" with wallhacks on.

Copy and paste the "Materials" folder into C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\ACCOUNTNAME\day of defeat source\dod

Printre case, printre lumini, pe lână panouri, pe sub balcoane cu jardiniere înflorite, peste treceri de pietoni, sfidând semafoarele zboară tramvaiul ca un misterios călător. Mereu pe acelaşi drum, mereu privind aceleaşi împrejurări, se târăşte şi se clatină plictisit, sictirit de monotonia unei existenţe întru un singur scop. Un simplu utilitar, o creaţie umană cu un ţel clar definit şi orizonturi limitate se târăşte ca un vierme străbătând aceleaşi crestături ale aceleiaşi seculare scoarţe de copac, mereu căutând un orizont nou, dar veşnic incapabil de a-şi depăşi condiţia, veşnic împovărat de aceeaşi frustrare a limitării impuse de natura existenţei sale microcosmice. Întinzându-şi captatoarele precum braţele unui acrobat atârnându-se de două sârme, singurul lui sprijin si sursă de energie, păşind cu roţi ruginite pe aceleaşi şine, parcă cu fiecare an mai afundate în asfaltul încins, porneşte la drumul unei noi zile tramvaiul...

Nimeni nu îl bagă în seamă, nimeni nu-l priveşte, toţi s-au obişnuit cu prezenţa lui, cu clinchetul monoton al încheieturilor sale obosite, cu deja plictisitoarea textură a ruginei adunate peste carcasa lui ce stă mărturie ale unor vremuri apuse. De când se plimbă sub aceleaşi balcoane, prin faţa aceloraşi uşi către care nu se poate întoarce şi prin care nu poate păşi a văzut atâţia oameni venind şi plecând, atâtea blocuri falnice ridicându-se din ţărână, strălucind pământii în lumina soarelui, acum prăfuite, obosite sub greutatea igrasiei. Balcoane la care s-au perindat atâtea feţe, atâtea rufe atârnate la uscat, atâtea gospodine truditoare cu şorţul galeş, atâţia bunici cu priviri blajine ridicându-şi nepoţelul spre a privi către măreţia lumii decadente pe care i-o lasă moştenire. El toate le-a văzut, le ştie, le păstrează între plăcile sale de metal, printre scaune cojite, brăzdate cu semne de marker. El toate le ştie, dar nu le spune nimănui. Un cufăr încuiat cu amintiri ale atâtor vieţi, ale atâtor destine, ale atâtor oameni. Atâtea poveşti ar putea şi ar vrea să le spună, dar jurământul său tacit de confident al atâtor suflete îl împiedică.

În spate un bătrân îşi aşează oasele grele pe un scaun solitar. O viaţă de om trăită pe aceeaşi rută. De când era mic îl ştie, un copil cuminte stând în braţele mamei care-l alintă cu vorbe dulci şi mângâieri blajine, abţinându-şi o lacrimă de fericire în colţul ochiului, uitând de grijile existenţiale bucurându-se de privirea ochilor tineri şi sclipitori ale unui pui de om. Apoi alergând după uşile-i deschise cu o servietă de piele în mână, sperând să nu întârzie la noul loc de muncă sau ţinându-şi copilul în braţe pe acelaşi scaun obosit pe care mama lui îl dezmierda odată şi-i cânta: "Du-mă acasă, măi tramvai, Du-mă acasă, ce mai stai?" Iar el râdea şi cânta şi el tramvaiului ca să zboare mai repede către căldura adăpostului părintesc. Acum este bătrân, poate că mâine nici nu va mai încălzi acelaşi scaun cu prezenţa sa.

Şi seara se lasă pe nesimţite. Sub straja unei căsuţe mici, cu portiţă şi cişmea stă un nou suflet în aşteptarea tramvaiului. Câinii latră, noaptea se adânceşte, străzile sunt pustii într-un colţ uitat de istorie, printre clădiri vechi si obosite. Bătrânul coboară greoi, ţinându-se de o bară, chinuindu-se să-şi ţină oasele tremurânde, iar tânărul ţopăie sprinten, mai să îl dărâme şi se aşează pe un scaun. Tramvaiul îşi închide uşile şi porneşte într-un demaraj timid, parcă voind să mai privească odată bătrânul întors cu spatele ce se îndreaptă către căsuţa cu geamuri cu tocuri de lemn măcinat de ploi, zăpezi şi multe primăveri. Dar nu poate zăbovi şi îşi continuă drumul pierzându-se în noapte. Iar de undeva din amintire răsună vocea dulce a mamei: "Du-mă acasă, măi tramvai! Du-mă acasă, ce mai stai? Du-mă la căsuţa mea cu portiţă şi cişmea!" Şi atunci mai picură o lacrimă pe nesimţite, stropind asfaltul dur şi prăfuit, amestecându-se în palizi străluciri cu bezna nopţii...

Sine, je la potemo fà - Yes We Can

Per chi non conoscesse il dialetto romano, l'utilizzo della particella “ne” viene usata come rafforzativo di affermazioni e negazioni (es: Sine = si, sicuramente; None = no, per nulla!).

Quindi Sine è Yes e "je la potemo fà" è we can: Chiaro no?
Che poi, detto tra noi, mi sembrra che suoni meglio "Sine je la potemo fà" che "Yes We Can"... o no?

E comunque caro Obama, quando tu dici "Yes We Can" c'è sempre qualcuno,in qualche vicolo di Roma, che sfottendoti ti risponde con...... "Essine Certo..Essine...." :-)

April DC Trip

In April I visited Washington DC to finish a class at GWU. I flew down Saturday and enjoyed two free days touring around the city. Saturday was beautiful and sunny; Sunday well it rained all day. I love this city. I first visited Washington as a junior in High School. I participated in a high school study program called “Close-Up”. I highly recommend for any high school student! I’ve had the pleasure of many visits over the years.

Each visit I try to see something different – and I always return to a few of my favorites. I’ve learned over the years how easy it is to fly in and out of Washington National. I also recommend staying in Crystal or Pentagon City. Both are on the Metro so you won’t need to rent a car. Traffic and parking in Washington are to be avoided if possible. This visit I stayed at the Embassy Suites, Crystal City. The suite was very nice, two rooms, clean and very convenient! The hotel is within walking distance to Pentagon City Metro/Mall and Crystal City Metro/Mall.

Saturday: This visit I did a lot of walking. I went to the new Indian Museum right on the National Mall. This building wasn’t here on my last visit. The building is spectacular! I will publish a picture in my photo blog. I also visited the Botanical Gardens – the picture at the top of my blog is from the Botanical Gardens. The gardens were just replanted. It will be a few years till they mature. No visit to the Capital this time – it was blocked off for a protest! I did walk by the Library of Congress and Supreme Court on my way to Union Station. I really love the renovation of this station. I took the Metro back to Arlington National Cemetery. I walked up to JFK’s burial site. I was disappointed with the irreverence of some tourists. Despite the many signs reminding people this is a place of honor, many tourists were running/jumping and yelling! If I were in Europe I think the term used would be “stupid Americans!” But this time it was foreign tongs I heard so I say “Stupid Foreigners!” Ah but what a time for grounding walking among our national heroes who gave their lives for our freedom.

Saturday evening after a short return to my hotel, I ventured out to Crystal City. What a beautiful area of Arlington, VA. This was a planned city as you can tell by the grid, but every square inch is filled with beautiful gardens and parks. Its well maintained. An underground mall connects the majority of the buildings to the Metro. I will post one of the parks I love on my photo blog. I ended up having dinner at Neramitra Thai Cuisine. This rivals my favorite Thai restaurant, Siam Lotus in Norwood MA. The restaurant was modern, clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. They even brought me an extra napkin as I ate my spicy dish and began to perspire! I finished my evening with a stroll around the mall at Pentagon City (4 floors!).

Sunday: I awoke to Thunder! Well I wasn’t about to waste a day in Washington DC sitting in my hotel suite! I had a complimentary breakfast in the atrium of the hotel. Next I took the complimentary shuttle to Pentagon City (it was raining). I hopped onto the Metro. I got off at McPherson Sq. Exiting the Metro station I found numerous homeless veterans (VA Office at station). They were all under cover as it had been raining. I walked through Lafayette Park over to the White House – had to see the White House. To my surprise there were even more barricades surrounding the White House, no longer can you walk down E. Executive Ave – rather you have to walk all the way around the Treasury Building. I did and made my way over to the National Mall. It was Earth day and there was a free concert. Well it rained again so aborted that idea, instead I walked to the Old Post Office Pavilion. I ate lunch at the food court. I then walked up to the Hard Rock Café and by the house where Lincoln died. I hopped onto the Metro and back to Pentagon City. I walked through the mall over to Pentagon Row. This is a new development of shops, restaurants and condos in a court yard configuration. I stopped into an ice cream parlor and as I enjoyed a dish of vanilla, I watched people running from store to store to keep out of the rain.

Sunday evening I had dinner at Sin é Irish Pub. It was fantastic! Irish music, festive atmosphere, Guinness on Tap! What else can an Irish lad from Boston want while in DC? It was so relaxing – I spent a few hours enjoying the pub and Guinness! I did have a burger as well
