Descubren otro planeta muy parecido a la Tierra

La humanidad busca constamente pruebas de que exista vida en otros planetas. Cada nuevo indicio por pequeño que sea, abre una nueva esperanza de que no estemos solos en el universo. Y así podría ser, al menos en un planeta descubierto por científicos chilenos, suizos y portugueses. Se trata del planeta más parecido a la tierra, en el que podría

haber agua líquida y cuyas condiciones y características "permiten imaginar la existencia de una vida extraterrestre", según sus descubridores.

La propia temperatura del nuevo planeta ya invita a pensar en su parecido con la Tierra, ya que varía entre los 0 y los 40 C. El Centro Nacional de la Investigación Científica (CNRS) de La Silla (Chile), el Observatorio de Ginebra (Suiza) y del Centro de Astronomía de Lisboa (Portugal) fueron los responsables de hallar un planeta que gira en torno a la estrella Gliese 5 81 (G1 581), a 20, 5 años luz de la Tierra, en la constelación Libra.

Este planeta, cinco veces mayor que el nuestro, es el tercero que descubren en los dos últimos años en ese sistema solar.

"La separación del planeta y su estrella le confiere la capacidad de tener líquido en su superficie", ha explicado el astrónomo y portavoz del equipo de investigadores Stephane Udry, del Observatorio de Ginebra.

En todo caso, por el momento los científicos no tienen la certeza de si el planeta tiene agua y tierra sólida o, siquiera, si cuenta con atmósfera.

"Lo que tenemos", ha explicado Udry, "es una masa mínima y la distacia de separación con su estrella".

¿Vida terrestre?

A pesar de que la distancia que separa al este planeta similar a la Tierra y a su sol es catorce veces más pequeña de la que nos separa a nosotros del nuestro, la temperatrua es la adecuada gracias a que aquél astro es alrededor de 50 veces más frío.

En su conjunto, Udry ha considerado que sus caracteristicas "permiten imaginar la existencia de una vida extraterrestre".

Ahora la gran incógnita es si este planeta tiene masa sólida que soportara la hipotética agua que es capaz de albergar. En este sentido, Udry ha considerado que planetas más pequeños que otros 15 veces la masa de la tierra suelen ser "rocosos". Su colega David Charbonneau, del Centro Astronómico de Harvard-Smithshonian, en Cambridge, no es tan optimista.

Un planeta cinco veces la masa de la Tierra "se parece a la tierra pero también a Neptuno, con lo que ¿Cuál de ellos es? ", ha apuntado. Sencillamente no hay forma de saberlo".

So I'm not the only one who thinks this, but I just saw a photo of Katy Perry, the new upincoming singer who sings "I Kissed a Girl", and swear she looks like Zooey Deschanel, the actress in "The Happening" and "Almost Famous". At first I thought it was the same person, til I looked them up on IMDB. Crazy.

Longest Wait in the World

Ugh!! I thought a few days ago. This is the longest wait ever!!! See, I have awhile till I get to do something I've been looking forward to for awhile (not gonna say what it is cuz i dont feel like it). In reality its really not that long but to me it feels that way cuz I'm the kind of person who gets anxious and I have trouble being patient when I want somethin to come. 'Guess everyone can be that way. Luckily every Wednesday night I have Baby Borrowers to watch when I'm getting impatient or whenever I need to a break. And tonight Baby Borrowers just got juicier. LOL. 'K, so here's a quick recap of what I just got done watching: The teens got toddlers this time and one couple had to throw a b-day party, another was helping a toddler with potty training and ohh what else...oh yeah-one of the girls says she's had enough of the show. First off I wanna say that this was really ironic, I was just :O b/c of it. In my 1st entry on the show and stuff (Raising a Kid at 18 post) I said that Sasha and Jordan were doing great. And they were till they had trouble with their toddler, Sasha felt so frustrated she'd cry. But she also raised her voice at the mom when the mom said her honest opinion on how they did (which was bad :P) and Sasha sorta cussed her out. The other couples stood outside their home and watched as the toddler's mom carried her son outside and left, looking "pissed" as one of them said. In a clip for next week it asks if Sasha will really leave and give up and it shows her packing her bags. Sasha looked so calm and stuff and then she let all hell break loose. Hmm..

Then Alicea and Cory did good. (Still rooting for them all the way.) Alicea had fun with her toddler and was able to "connect" with him better than with the baby. Alicea did a good job, I knew she'd pull through when the baby left. She did cry on the phone to her mom but didn't go crazy like Sasha. So hopefully next Wednesday Sasha won't leave. If she does, I hope Jordan gets someone to help him out-if not, good luck to him b/c next is preteens. LOL.

In movie news for me, my friend and I decided on some a shirt we're gonna buy at the store for our movie. It's a cute shirt and this weekend I have to go get mine. We're gonna be dressed similar but not twins b/c we decided we wanted to be different a little too. And we're working on other parts for our scene we'll be doing and a few other movies. It'll be exciting. We still gotta go through our scripts before we shoot the movies and some other stuff. Its good our scripts are short. In my music video I'm doing by myself I'm stuck on what scenes to add to it. Grr! LOL.

Hopefully the wait for something I've been looking forward to will fly by fast with Baby Borrowers and other stuff I'm doing to keep myself busy. I better go clean my room now, its a mess and I can't find anything anymore! :)

For so many times… nababati ako na may ganitong kamukha o naalala nila through sa akin ang kanilang kakilala. Well siempre hindi na nawawala diyan na kamukha ko raw ang ina ko, isa kong kuya, ang bestfriend sis ko at ang isa kong namapayapang pinsan… May isa rin akong lolo na nung isang taon ko lang nakita ang nagsabing kahawig ko raw sa mukha o kilos ang lola o lolo ko…(di ko na matandaan kung sino sa kanila).. eddie ibig sabihin boyish din lola ko kung nagkaganon hehehe…

Pero sa lahat nang magsasabi sa akin na kamukha ko ang kakilala nila.. naiiba yong hindi ko naman kaano-ano… di ba ang pagiging kawaii naman e sa dugo nanalaytay yan kaya okay lang kung kamag-anak. first na naalala ko na nagsabi sa akin na kamukha ko raw ang pamangkin niya ay ang naging ex live-in partner ng tita ko.

Ilang beses na rin ba akong nasabihan na “naalala ko sa iyo iyong pinsan/ kaibigan ko.” In fairness okay naman ata ang mga qualities ng mga taong hinahawig nila sa akin. Nito namang nakaraan, nilapitan ako ng isang big official ng isang ice cream company…sabi niya sa akin… naalala niya sa akin ang pamangkin niya… then tinanong niya ang course ko, same pala kami…

I’m touched kapag through me may naaalalang tao ang kausap ko lalo na kung malapit sa kanya iyon. Mas gusto ko iyon kaysa sabihin ako na kamukha si ganitong kamag-anak ko… hindi naman sa ayaw pero mas gusto ko lang na pag-ugali ang pinapansin… although di ba in some point ng ating life e gusto natin hanapin ang ating sariling style na wish ng ating kuning-kuning na atin lang at walang pair.

A China é o maior mercado mundial de celulares, mas marcas domésticas como a Ningbo Bird e a Amoi vêm enfrentando dificuldades em meio à intensa concorrência de preços de rivais locais, entre os quais alguns que se especializam em modelos derivativos, depois de perder a posição dominante que detinham no mercado para fabricantes estrangeiros.

"Um usuário da Nokia não seria meu cliente, mas os compradores de aparelhos Ningbo Bird estão ansiosos para experimentar meus produtos", disse Fu Jiangang, proprietário de um site que vende celulares piratas e não registrados.

Fu agora está pensando em atualizar o seu Hiphone, uma imitação escancarada do popular iPhone, da Apple, mas vendida a uma fração do preço do original.

Em quatro pequenas linhas de montagem controladas por um sócio na cidade de Shenzhen, um pólo econômico chinês, Fu responde pela produção de centenas de aparelhos por mês, e seu público-alvo são os agricultores, os trabalhadores migrantes e outros usuários de baixa renda, para expandir sua rede de vendas.

"Não se pode esperar que um agricultor com renda de 10 mil iuans por ano compre um celular de cinco mil iuans", disse Fu. "Mas o agricultor quer um celular que pareça moderno e possa tirar fotos e tocar música."

Os produtos dele concorrem com os da Ningbo Bird e de diversos outros fabricantes chineses, tais como Konka e Lenovo, pela faixa de mais baixo preço no mercado.

A Ningbo Bird anunciou prejuízo de 34 milhões de iuans (4,94 milhões de dólares) no primeiro trimestre, mencionando a feroz concorrência no mercado local, que ela dominava até recentemente.

Somente em Shenzhen, de acordo com dados oficiais, há mais de 600 fabricantes de celulares e 3.000 fornecedores de componentes.

"Nos últimos dois anos, testemunhamos o surgimento de nomes desconhecidos como K-touch e a queda de marcas tradicionais como Ningbo Bird", disse Jiang Lifeng, analista da consultoria chinesa CCID.

Jiang disse que cerca de 170 milhões de celulares foram vendidos na China no ano passado, enquanto um total estimado de 70 milhões eram piratas ou não registrados.

Enquanto isso, o órgão de estatísticas da China afirmou que o preço médio de aparelhos de comunicação caiu quase 20 por cento em maio em relação ao mesmo mês do ano passado e a inflação ao consumidor subiu 7,7 por cento no período.

E essa combinação está começando a cobrar seu preço.

Ren Qian, executivo da Ferex Electronics, outra fabricante de celular em Shenzhen, disse que muitas empresas estão em dificuldades com aumento de custos trabalhistas e de produção

"A margem de lucro está encolhendo, o custo está subindo, e eu vejo muitas empresas morrendo", afirmou Ren.

It has happened to me so many of those several times that I have lost count completely. I have same random thoughts with people and feel OMG he thinks as I do. When I am reading blogs I come across few posts that seem to jump straight out of my mind and walk across someone else's blog. The views, expressions and the whole theme runs on the same wavelength as mine with the similar crests and troughs of flow of whole post. I feel a yelling inside my mind- 'Hey I feel the same too.' Apart from the blogs; even while chatting with few people I share certain common liking on areas like some rare song/movie/book. I seem to hit off so well. Considering any likeness test (dedicated Facebook fan) I seem to score 96% with such people. Just few days back I was chatting with a new found friend on Gtalk and we seem to hit off really well. we even had same taste in music and opinion on different issues. Yesterday I was blogrolling with Yaake and I discovered a post there on gtalk status. He wrote what I also had observed. I posted a comment on it and he replied what I was doing. His reply was -'I have started adding my blog address as my gtalk status'. No need to mention I am also doing the same. What better way to promote visitors to your blog than advertising the link on your chatting console?

This reminds me of my geomatry class of Similar triangles. The dimensions are not same but yeah the shape and angles are same. The angle point on few issues is perfect simulation of my angles. It looks as if they have been carbon copied. Does it happen with you?

code geass R2 = gundam 00

You all should know what I'm trying to emphasize here, the similarity between Mai Otome and Gundam Seed scenes. Since both of them are under Sunrise management, it is normal to see such a rip-off. More of them HERE. That was years ago. Recently, while I was watching Code Geass R2, I noticed that there are some mechas characteristics in the Code Geass' OP theme that does really matches the gundam from the 00 series. See comparisons below
