ガックポイド (Gackpoid)

Perhaps this vocaloid has the most number of beautiful (and kuso) fanarts ever drawn. Just looking at the few professionally rendered artworks that appear on niconico videos is enough to wish for a Gackpoid anthology... ...

I came across Gackpoid in an Ikebukuro electronics store while searching for a pen tablet with Chihaya san. I was amazed Gackt actually lent his voice for this audio  software and didn't think much on the wonders it could do in music composition and arrangement. It's the name 'Gackt' that boosts sales, no?

Until I heard some of the music compositions/ arrangements and other songs sung using Gackpoid on niconico video (Japan's better version of Youtube). An original song composed by a nico user called いーえろP which I find really good is Grave Post's 'Kimi no iru basho'. The vocals are totally synthesised from Gackpoid software. Hard to believe when it sounds so natural.

The good ones are awesome. The vocaloid could make the vocals sound so erotic! One nico user commented that her ears are made pregnant after listening to a BL game theme song 'Under the darkness' sung by Gackpoid.

The kuso ones are also awesome! And I'm not being sarcastic about the kuso ones because they are so brain-numbingly hilarious! Here's 'Dancing Samurai'. Starting dancing or go perform hara kiri ( ritual suicide by disembowelment)!

A hardcore Gackt-obssessed fan would probably wish the author is burnt on the stake. There's even a song sung by Gackpoid about wanting to eat shit and not leaving any behind (Unko tabetai...).

It's amazing how a product in the Japanese market could shape the culture of the online community. The distinct colour of each vocaloid is represented by food items. It was not known who started it. For example, green-haired Miku's edible mascot is Japanese spring onion known as negi. As for purple-haired Gackpoid, his representative item is eggplant aka nasu. Yummy!

i'm not a typical girl, and i don't spend a lot of money on my undergarments, although i did when i was about 16-17 (roughly 5 years ago).  unfortunately, i was forced to purchase some new under-pinnings this weekend and to my dismay, all the good looking bras at Victoria's Secret are around $35-$48.  so basically, bras cost more than t-shirts.  for fuck's sake, i free ball it a good part of the time anyway (except in winter- the extra cloth keeps me warmer harharhar).  FOURTY-FIVE FUCKING DOLLARS?!  i mean... really?  i'm not made of fucking money (although sometimes i pretend)!  it's unfair for such lovely pretty looking things to be so ungodly expensive- especially when i'm sure they were made for $5 max.  i begrudgingly headed to the fitting room (although Lovebear may disagree with this).  unfortunately, i liked just about everything i put on.  since i have to buy books (and this is further keeping me from buying them), i limited myself to two and was bracing myself for buyer's remorse- of course, the buyer's remorse never came.  in fact, i felt pretty good about myself, which is strange as i've been in a major "oh my god, i'm a cow" stage in my self-image as of late.  i had an epiphany though- this is WHY undergarments cost more than shirts do!  they make you feel good about yourself! 

so, chemically, they send good stuff like seratonin, nonepinephrine, and endorphins (can't remember which ones specifically) to the brain center.  other things that do this are: drugs.  seriously.  drugs and alcohol send waves of euphoria to the brain, which is why people become addicted to them.  you can learn that in any basic Psychology 101 / Introduction to Psychology class.  so let's apply some reasoning here (PHI 102 / Critical Thinking and Reasoning): If you buy undergarments, they make you feel good.  If you do drugs, they make you feel good.  Basically, buying lingerie is on par with doing drugs (note i said "on par", not "the same as").  so maybe i have learned something in college anyhow.  basically, though, Victoria's Secret is not selling an item, but a feeling; a high.  it's like slingin' rocks, except not illegal.  who would of thought that lingerie could be so hood?

i highly doubt that the male population gets all happy when they buy their boxer briefs, though.  i wonder why that is?  whatever, this was absolute nonsense.

on a sidenote, it's of my humble opinion that Adriana Lima is the worst model ever- she cannot give good face at all.  for every good picture she has, she has about 4 that make her look like a demon-child.  see below.

After a day's hard work(technically... 5 hours), I have almost (80%) converted my Ubuntu 8.04 to resemble a Mac OS.

It was not that tough as I imagined it to be... But a few things like Startup screen and Splash needs to be tweaked a bit (A "bit" may take from 4 minutes up to 2 hours; a learning). But whatever has been done makes my lappy look like a uber-sexy thing.

I guess they were right when they said that any monkey with Linux in its laptop can tweak its GUI.....
