As an Indian user of high technology products to interface with my top quality and latest Ubuntu Linux PC Desktop or Laptop Computer from high technology companies - I have started REJECTING those peripherals and those companies which have not bothered to release free and open source Linux drivers for their devices. As with the best printers and high performance graphic cards, it is always best to do some research on whether a foreign company well known for manufacturing and distributing.

Many white goods companies are going ballistic in advertising that they sell a ( High Quality ? ) product to Indian users and in Indian markets EVERY three SECONDS. But do these companies sell products that play well with your Ubuntu Laptop ?

Make sure before you buy. Let them WAIT for THREE HOURS before they sell a product to Indian consumers.

Olympus is one of those companies making small and tiny Digital Voice Recorders - (good for sting operations on Indian politicians who excel in buying Votes for Notes for Civil Nuclear Treaty and solving the power and energy crisis of Indians - hamara nara, ghar ghar mein bijli pahuchana .... )

Unfortunately Olympus has not bothered to release free and open source software drivers for their Digital Voice Recorders. As far as I am concerned Olympus Digital Voice Recorder is USELESS till it makes available free and easily downloadable software drivers to work with my UBUNTU Laptop running on BSNL Broadband Internet.

No point buying rubbish electronic junk and e-waste which DOES NOT work with Ubuntu Linux computers in India. And this will be public service of voluntary nature as Indian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology has hardly any guidelines for disposing electronic and computer junk and how to penalise those foreign companies which sell outdated technologies in India - Litter packaged up as Glitter . So before investing any rupees in more electronic junk and devices, ALWAYS check if it WORKS well with Ubuntu Linux.

The gist of the reply that the applicant got was something like; The Ministry of Home Affairs divided the task into all the DCPs of the Delhi Region and asked them to reply separately. Each of the DCPs either presented the information in a much distorted form requiring time consuming data analysis and data collation, while others clearly stated that such information is not maintained by them per se and need to personally inspect the records for which the compensation has to be paid by the applicant to the tune of Rs. 24, 332 and Rs. 25, 224 as demanded by 2 of the DCPs which means a total of Rs. 49, 556.

This is atrocious for the following reasons:-

1) Police department is a public department, meant for public service, being funded by the tax payer’s money and RTI Act lays down guidelines for access to public information and has held the government officers accountable for the same to provide info as it is a citizen’s fundamental right. And demanding money for a task which falls within the ambit of police duty from a citizen is sheer insult and lack of recognition of a citizen’s basic rights

2) In light of the information asked, it is very clear that only the records which ought to be maintained by police are being sought for and failure of the police on part of non maintenance of such records only reflects the inefficacies of the police and the police is demanding money to cover its own follies which is nothing less than atrocious.

3) It is a well known fact that IPC 498A (Dowry harassment law) is widely misused to the tune of 98 % and the police is not only well aware of the situation, but is also hand –in – gloves to promote the misuse owing to its own corruption and with these replies, attempting to abstain from giving information and frustrating the applicant, only justifies the role of a corrupt police force in advocating this misuse.

The background being a student was severely beaten up by his physical education teacher for trying to use the RTI act to know his examination marks. The story ends with :

Jai Singh Yadav, when asked if he had indeed beaten the student, said: "I didn't do anything at all." He even threatened the reporter with dire consequences for reporting the incident.

Well, he looks like a nice peace loving person to me.

Empowered: Students participating in the social audit public hearing programme on Wednesday. .

HYDERABAD: A group of young girls from Sri Sarada Degree College for Women, Ameerpet have conducted a social audit on the process of issuing post-matric scholarships and reimbursement of tuition fee, of B.C. Welfare Department for 141 students of Maharishi Veda Vignana Mahavidyalaya Junior College, Begumpet.

The methodical verification of scholarships, records of students and the college and even the BC Welfare Department, threw up the usual issues, which infest scholarship distribution programme. The 22 girls, who themselves are availing the scholarships, were trained to take up social audit by the Centre for Good Governance at the Dr. MCR HRD Institute.

Common grievances

Inordinate delays in sanctioning of scholarships, acquiring salary or caste certificate from Mandal Revenue Officer, late submission of applications for scholarships by students and sometimes late submission of attendance report by the college, essential to reimburse tuition fee were the broad findings from the social audit. "Earlier, scholarships and reimbursement of tuition fee were affected by embezzlements. To curtail it and to bring in transparency, we have introduced this concept of making the stakeholders take up social audit. Such studies would be taken up at other Government colleges in the near future," informed Director of BC Welfare Department K. Sunitha.

Meticulous work

The girls made sure that the findings of the audit were presented meticulously. They made sure that students, college and department officials explained the reasons for inordinate delays.

"This is the fun in social audits. We get to grill authorities and even students for delays. Centre for Good Governance taught us and gave us skills to take up such a study scientifically," says T. Ramya, B.Sc second year student from the college.

Another student pointed out that such exercises helped them improve language skills and instilled confidence among them.

"We gained a lot of confidence with this exercise. We were made to present the findings at such a big gathering for the first time. We were tense but it was a learning experience," said Rahemunnissa Begum, a B.Com first year of the college.

S.2...(f) "information" means any material in any form, including records, documents, memos, e-mails, opinions, advices, press releases, circulars, orders, logbooks, contracts, reports, papers, samples, models, data material held in any electronic form and information relating to any private body which can be accessed by a public authority under any other law for the time being in force;

Ordinarily it is presumed that the definition provided by the legislation is precise and complete in respect of the particular Act. Further, the cardinal rule of construction of is to read the statute literally, that is by giving to the words their ordinary natural and grammatical meaning.

Recently Bomaby High Court (Goa Bench) has delivered a judgment (Dr. Celsa Pinto v. Goa State Information Commission ) under the Right to Information Act, 2005, wherein after interpreting the definition of "Information" the High Court has ruled as under

The definition cannot include within its fold answers to the question “why” which would be the same thing as asking the reason for a justification for a particular thing. The Public Information Authorities cannot expect to communicate to the citizen the reason why a certain thing was done or not done in the sense of a justification because the citizen makes a requisition about information. Justifications are matter within the domain of adjudicating authorities and cannot properly be classified as information.

However, interestingly, the Act itself expressly mandate that every public authority shall provide reasons for its administrative and quasi-judicial decisions. Section 4 ,with elaborate details, speaks about the obligations of public authorities. Section 4(1)(d) reads as under :

S.4 Obligations of public authorities :

(1)Every Public Authority shall -
......
(d)provide reasons for its administrative or quasi-judicial decisions to affected persons

Therefore, from the express intention of the legislation as provided in the section 4(1)(d) every public authority is bound to provide reasons or justification for its decisions. Therefore, it appears that while passing the abovesaid judgment section 4(1)(d) has been completely overlooked by the High Court.

If the definition of "Information" is taken as interpreted by the High Court in the abovesaid judgment, then it would restrict the purpose of the Act to a very narrow scope. If public authorities and officers cannot be asked about the reasons for their decisions then no public authorities or their officers can be made accountable for their duties and functions toward the public. Here it is also helpful and necessary to read the preamble of the Act, to understand the intention of the legislation behind enacting the Act.

An Act to provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority, the constitution of a Central Information Commission and State Information Commissions and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Whereas the Constitution of India has established democratic Republic;

And whereas democracy requires an informed citizenry and transparency of information which are vital to its functioning and also to contain corruption and to hold Governments and their instrumentalities accountable to the governed;

And whereas revelation of information in actual practice is likely to conflict with other public interests including efficient operations of the Governments, optimum use of limited fiscal resources and the preservation of confidentiality of sensitive information;

And whereas it is necessary to harmonies these conflicting interests while preserving the paramountcy of the democratic ideal;

Now, therefore, it is expedient to provide for furnishing certain information to citizens who desire to have it.

Be it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—

Ordinarily, if the language of the Act is clear, the preamble is to be disregarded, however when the object or meaning of an enactment is not clear, the preamble is to be looked into to explain it. Therefore, if the definition of "Information" is taken as limited as provided in the section 2(f) that would frustrate the entire object of the Act.

Therefore, in my view, reading section 4(1)(d) with the preamble,  it can be safely concluded that legislation positively intends that "Information" includes reasons of Public Authority for its decisions and as such the abovesaid judgment of the High Court incorrectly interprets the Act, and requires reconsideration.

Don't you think we should also have a Right to Health Information Act, just like we have a Right to Information Act, to help patients to get access to their own medical records. Sometimes these are locked up and hidden away from patients - so that doctors and hospitals block patient access to something as basic as to what their diagnosis is and what treatment is being given for this.

Patients, and their family members need to know that they have a legal right to access their own records. And that no one can refuse to share this with them. Unfortunately, the big hospitals often act as bullies, and refuse to provide this basic documentation to patients.

We had a similar case with one of our corporate client, who got their annual health checkups for employees done at a leading hospital in Mumbai. Since the corporate wanted to provide the Healthizen platform to their employees for managing their and their family's health, they wanted all their medical records uploaded and accessible on the website. To the HR manager's utter disbelief, the hospital refused to provide the records to the HR manager on the pretext that it is a policy issue.
So much so for people thinking that their medical records are safe and secure at the healthcare providers!!!

"I seriously started designing swimsuits when I was about sixteen. The reason I started to push my mother to make this another area in her business (Sew Unique) was because friends around me faced the same problems that lead us to do my first swimsuit, a lack of affordable well made and well designed swimsuits. It started one specific day I had to go swimsuit shopping and when looking we realized nowhere really offer a variation of swimsuit sizes so it was difficult to find my own specific size and those we did find, just didn't look good. We spent that day going to every store we knew and after a day of annoyance and bitter disappointment I pitched the idea to my mother. It started as just designs I did for myself usually to wear to ATI then eventually friends started to ask me to hook them up. So in fifth form i started Tempted, but i was too young and inexperienced to really maintain and promote the brand. This year however I decided to turn my hobby into something i could profit from (after much encouragement from one friend) , so i revamped the brand and bravely approached my mother ( who had been less receptive when i had done Tempted) with a business plan, the passion, skills and time to get it off the ground (my mother cuts and sews each swimsuit generally speaking) and she gave me the green light to go ahead."

What are your design's inspired by?

"I usually read fashion magazines a lot. So i try to keep trends in mind. However,, sometimes they can be based of a random item, I once designed a few swimsuits around a picture of a bow i saw, or it can be the idea of a specific place, theme,s purpose or occasion. For everything I design i either try to envision myself wearing it or a random friend who inspired it."

Is there a specific age group or body type you consider more when designing?

"Well so far my swimsuit attracts the younger crowd, usually between teens to those in their late 20's, however we are not partial to age. Whatever a customer requests no matter the age we try to get it done. We design according to whomever the customer is and whatever they need. As for body type, we  also do plus-sizes, we make swimsuits for everyone!!"

"So far i've done a fashion show this summer at a party in Montego Bay, I promote on Facebook and through friends, a friend even did an article on Solaris for a website."

How has the public been reacting to your designs?

"Well I'm certainly not disappointed! lol! they seem to like the designs and the idea of the service offered. I'm striving to make it a household name though!! Only then will I be truly satisfied!"

Where do you see SOLARIS in the next 5 years?

"Well i'm trying to make Solaris a household name, not a passing fade, establishing it as a business of longevity and profitability; so that is my main goal for the coming years. I intend to find a way into the roster of Caribbean Fashion Week too. But I need some more investors! So investors if your reading this, not to shamelessly hustle but amm...PLEASE GIVE ME A CALL!! lol"

2. Hotel Booking? - Yuh mussi mad!, If youre thinking about booking a cheap hotel.... reconsider because there's no such thing!!

★ Solution - Think "bunk" and "sponge", because that's what you'll be doing. Everyone has a rich friend or two, and on Independence Weekend your bound to see atleast one of them in Negril, try asking them if you can bunk. Everyone also has a friend with a car, who is probably just as broke as you and will be sleeping in it, there goes your hotel, "Car Back Inn". Just make sure you put your luggage in the trunk so coke heads dont break in and steal it, also for optimal space while sleeping.

3. Parties - Take parties like "Stages" of your mind, Rasclaat $3,500 can get you into two parties and buy about 4 big pack a Doritos. (an lef back change!!)

★ Solution - Now your going to look for all the parties with "Mug Madness" their about $1,500 and if your a real broke ass you suppose to can bawl down prices. Make sure to pass through other parties about an hour before they end, the gates usually free up by then, walk around and show your face a bit, nobody can tell you that you weren't there now.

4. Girls With Rooms - After two nights of sleeping in your friends car "yuh back suppose to a kill yuh!!" and you probably feel as if your totally gay for sleeping in a car with a guy. You seriously need some "action", a big bed to stretch out in and your in desperate need of a shower.

Dont end up like him, find a "smooth" way of asking girls you've met while partying in Negril if they have any extra room/get into their panties. Try hanging out in their room till it's really late, then pretend your calling a friend to come pick you up. tell them he's really drunk and he wont be able to drive. If you've been playing your cards right you you should be hearing "that's ok you can stay" Chi Ching Ching!! Jackpot!!, now you got a big as bed to sleep in (keep in mind in if your slick you might get some action and if your a wimp you might sleep on the floor) and a shower in the morning. They really wont mind you showering, its a hotel, its not like your invading their personal space or anything, and if you got some "action" then they definatley wont mind. If youre good with the ladies try doing this to a different set every night, it will get alot of problems out of the way and make your weekend way more enjoyable ;)

5. Food - It's coming down to the final days of being in Negril and your tired of Doritos and sodas, and you feel the need to sit and rest for a while when at parties. You need a good meal!!

★ Solution - Try hanging out with some of your more financially fortunate friends, who treating you to a good meal wouldn't leave even a dent in their pockets. You can also try the "Girls With Rooms" method listed above, most of theses party girls are booked at all inclusive hotels, which mean they eat what they want, when they want. Jokingly ask them for breakfast in the morning, gauge their response and push it a little, after a night of some serious "action" this should be rather easy

6. Goodbye Negril - So the weekend is over, you got a full dose of liquor, partying and hot girls, but your wondering if you could ever pull it again. All the sponging, bunking, lies and freeloading just seams too unreal to ever come through a second time.

★ Solution - Collect every single girls' number you meet in Negril!!!, i cant emphasize this anymore. With you and them now being friends freeloading comes easier and you might get a free ride to and from Negril next year.

OH, AND DOA MEK DI BUS LEAVE YOU!!!!!!!!

I hope this guide convinced all my "bruk pocket" friends to reconsider staying in Kingston this Independence Weekend, and made them realize that A.T.I./R.T.I. weekend is not only for the rich, it's for freeloaders and users like me and you ;)

THE RED RIBBON   EXPRESS

The Red Ribbon Express or train itself comprised of  seven coaches, equipped with: educational material, primarily on HIV/AIDS, interactive touch screens and 3-D models, PPTCT services in the context of RCH II, HIV-TB co-infection, an LCD projector and platform for folk performances, counseling cabins and two doctors’ cabins for providing counselling and syndromic treatment for STI and RTI cases, an office, dining area and pantry.

The RRE Project was flagged off from Delhi by the Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Hon’ble Chairperson, UPA & Chairperson, at 10 AM on World AIDS Day, which is 1st December 2007. The project focuses on youth groups, women self-help group members, adolescents/student community from schools and colleges, PRI members, youth in uniformed services and out-of-school/non-student youth, particularly in the rural areas.

OUR OUTLOOK.

Well, the class was very much keen to visit the  place. It was intriguing. Everybody made their visits to the place at their respective times. The express was there in agra for two days.. 18-19 of December.

Everyone snapped photos of what they found informative. We even had to write bout the visit to the place.. so in a way we were pushed into the whole thing for our benefit. Thanks to Sir Ulrick, who hustled us.. and didn't come with us.. for our own good. :)

NEW DELHI : Over 10 lakh tonnes of foodgrains worth several hundred crores of rupees, which could have fed over one crore hungry people for a year, were damaged in Food Corporation of India (FCI) godowns during the last one decade.

The damages were suffered despite the FCI spending Rs 242 crore while trying to prevent any loss of foodgrains during storage. Ironically another 2.59 crore was spent just to dispose off the rotten foodgrains.

These startling facts came in reply to a Right to Information (RTI) application filed by a Delhi resident. FCI informed that 10 lakh tonnes of foodgrain was damaged in the godowns of government owned agency which is responsible for procurement and distribution of foodgrains across the country.

The FCI informed that 1.83 lakh tonnes of wheat, 3.95 lakh tonnes of rice, 22 thousand tonnes of paddy and 110 tonnes of maize were damaged between 1997 to 2007.

The FCI said in the northern region -- UP, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi -- the damage incurred was seven lakh tonnes and the PSU spent Rs 87.15 crore to prevent the loss besides spending over Rs 60 lakh to dispose off the damaged foodgrain.

Keeping in view the amount of money spent by the FCI for preservation of foodgrains in its godown, the quantum of damage is huge. Is it not a national shame?" the RTI applicant Dev Ashish Bhattacharya said.

Similarly in eastern India -- Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Orissa, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal -- the damage incurred was 1.5 tonnes of foodgrains while the FCI spent Rs 122 crore to prevent it from rotting. But the damaged lot was disposed off after spending another Rs 1.65 crore.

In southern region -- Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala-- the damage incurred was 43,069.023 tonnes despite spending Rs 25 crore. This damaged foodgrain was disposed off after spending another Rs 34,867.

While damage in Maharashtra and Gujarat mounted to 73,814 tonnes, the FCI spent Rs 2.78 crore to prevent the loss. However, this lot was also disposed off later at a cost of Rs 24 lakh.

In Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, the damage incurred was 23,323.57 tonnes of foodgrains and the amount spent to stop the damage was Rs 5.5 crore.

The story was no different from other go-downs as the FCI spent Rs 10.64 lakh for disposing damaged foodgrains.

"The data given by FCI seems manipulated. In case of Jharkhand, the foodgrain damage is 3,699 tonnes which is comparatively low than other states. But the money spent to dispose off the damage is Rs 1.4 crore, which is high when compared to the other states," Dev Ashish said.

INDIAN JUDICIAL & LEGAL SYSTEM INDIRECTLY IN THE CLUTCHES OF MAFIA

In India , justice , equality & democracy an illusion . all those words are only there is in statuette books , but not in practice . the rich & mighty crooks are committing gravest crimes & escaping from the hands of law by manipulating evidences , by bribing the public servants to create favourable government reports , records. Poor
people who have suffered injustices are not getting justice due to lack of evidences & government reports , records to prove their case.

The corrupt public servants are more cruel , damaging criminals than our previous british oppressors or dawood ibrahim & other under world dons. The gravest threat , damages to india's security & national integrity is more from these corrupt public servants than Pakistan or china or other terrorist outfits. These corrupt public servants can stoop to any level in their greed for money. The present state affairs is a shame to our political & legal system and a barometer , indicator to their efficiency.

Recently , we have seen in the media , how people of bihar meated out mob justice to a criminal , that will be the fate of corrupt police , doctors , other officials in the future. But the violence is not the answer , that will only lead towards anarchy. We must establish true democracy of bapuji's dreams , true freedom , equality for all in practice for which so many of our fore fathers , freedom fighters sacrificed their life for.

THE ANSWER LIES IN ACCOUNTABILITY OF PUBLIC SERVANTS , ALL CONSTITUTIONAL FUNCTIONARIES INCLUDING JUDGES , TO THEIR PAY MASTERS  -  MONARCHS OF DEMOCRACY ie CITIZENS OF DEMOCRATIC INDIA. Hope this will dawn on our public servants that they are PUBLIC SERVANTS NOT PUBLIC MASTERS.

Failure of RTI Act in India

- In the clutches of corrupt public servants mafia

In the courts of law , every statement to be valid must be supported by evidences. That too, the statements of public servants / government officials & their reports in government records are considered as sacrosanct , the ultimate gospel truth by courts of law.

The corruption has spread it's  tentacles  far & wide in the public service. The bribe booty is shared by lower to higher officials. If an official is complained against , his higher official conducts a formal investigation & reports in the record that lower official is not guilty.

The vigilance authorities / Karnataka lokayukta has recently raided on police , tax officials & seized illegal wealth amounting to crores of rupees. Take the recent case where in senior IPS officer , superintendent of police chamarajanagar , mr.srikantappa was arrested by Karnataka lokayukta. The victims spoke to media that he used to threaten them with false cases. In this way , how many victims / innocents were arrested & tortured by his arrest warrants ? how many innocents suffered in false cases ? how many rich criminals got scot free , by srikantappa's filing of B reports leading to closure of cases ?

In the past how many suffered by srikantappa's actions ? has the court subjected to review all the previous actions of srikantappa throught his corrupt career ? if not , why ?

The courts of law has taken the official reports , records of mr.srikantappa as gospel truth & indirectly aided rich criminals & harmed innocents. It is the same case with respect to reports of all government officials � police , labour , tax , etc.  the rich criminals buy out  government officials & make them write favourable report about themselves. Whereas the poor , innocents suffer from adverse reports & injustices. The courts of law takes the government records at it's face value & meat out injustices to the poor , innocents while aiding the rich criminals.

When a commoner requests for information as per RTI Act , the government officials either give incomplete information , false information or decline to give information under one pretext or the other. The officials are damn sure that the truthful information  will be detrimental to themselves  & will be  taken as evidence against themselves in the courts of law. So information , truth is not given. Even information commissions are failing here. Thereby, the public are denied to seek justice in the courts of law , by lack of evidences.

The courts of law before accepting the records of government officials , must subject it to a "test of truth". When a government report is contested against , a fact finding team comprising members of public , complainant , respondent & the court , must check it out at the ground level. Orelse when a complainant says that the report of a government official � police , labour , tax , etc as false that government official must be subjected to lie detector test , narco-analysis, ertc by court of law. The questionnaire ie the questions to be asked during the scientific test are to be prepared with feedback from both complainant & respondent's side. In that way , impartially truth can be found out. After all , the objective of courts of law is "Quest for Truth", not just giving out judgements based on reports of corrupt officials.

Nowadays , we are even seeing reports of corruption among the judiciary itself. If a complaint against a judge is made out that a level ground is not provided to put up one's case in the court or cross examination of one party is not allowed or lie detector test / narco analysis of one party is not allowed ( in turn taking the lies of that party as truth ), the judge making a varied interpretation of law, the judge not safe guarding the health & life of the complainant in the custody of police leading to 3^rd degree torture of complainant by police , etc, in all such cases the supreme court of India must change the presiding judge of such cases , the cases must be thoroughly reviewed & the guilty judge must be subjected to narco-analysis , lie detector test , etc & legally prosecuted. In this back drop , accountability of police & judges to the public ie citizens of India � kings of democracy , is a must. After all , the kings of democracy / citizens of India / taxpayers  are the paymasters of all public servants.

We at e � voice of human rights of watch have utmost respect for the judiciary & all government institutions. It is the corrupt few in those institutions who are themselves bringing disgrace to the august institutions they occupy , by their corrupt deeds. The saving grace is that still honest few are left in public service & it is an appeal to them , to legally prosecute their corrupt colleagues.

In India , the private enterprises are the wealth creators of our economy. However , some private enterprises are violating labour laws , tax laws , human rights & fundamental rights of people. In turn harming the public , looting the tax dues. This is creating black money causing various social evils in the society. These huge private enterprises take loans from public sector banks ie take public's money as loans , collect money from public in the form of shares , debentures , sell their product to the public. Still , they are not covered by RTI Act, they don't give truthful information to the public nor allow public inspection of their sites , why ? they buy out concerned government officials & gets them to write favourable report about themselves. There are wide differences between the ground reality & these government reports. If the aggrieved person , victim of injustices meated out by these private enterprises , tries to legally seek justice, these criminal private enterprises buy out police , concerned officials & fixes up the victim in false cases. The police in total disregard to law violates the human rights & fundamental rights of the victim in custody , subjects the victim to 3^rd degree torture in custody. The presiding judge of the case doesn't safe guard the rights , health , life of victims in custody. The judge doesn't check out the truthfulness of government reports & passes on judgement making varied interpretation of just remember the case of "local citizens vs coca cola company" in plachimada , kerala.

Is it not right & just in such cases , to subject the presiding judge , police , concerned government officialds & most importantly key officials of that criminal private enterprise to lie detector , narco- analysis tests , to know the truth ? is it not right to conduct the inspection of alleged site , review of all company's records , by a team comprising of members from public , court , complainant & respondent ?

Some of these criminal enterprises threaten to finish off the poor victims . as these company's have money power they can buy out rowdies , police & capable of doing anything. In such cases , if anything untoward happens to the victim or his family , are not the officials of such criminal enterprise liable to pay compensation to the victims's family or survivors ?

In India , do we truly have democracy & freedom ? is this corrupt India � what our freedom fighters dreamt of & fought for ?

1949: Mr. Justice Sinha only Judge impeached; courtesy Good Judges & Constitution Framers: Our Fore-Fathers represented by Constituent Assembly of India framers of Constitution of India then in 1949 (year before Consitution came into existence) impeached Mr. Justice Sinha; finding him "guilty of improper exercise of Judicial functions, the cumulative effect of which was to lower the dignity of his office and undermine the confidence of the public in the administration of justice…" [008.07].
Such/ similar acts/ behaviours by whom-so-ever including Judges is since 1971 is covered as an act of Criminal Contempt of Court [041.05 ]. Not a single Judge is either Impeached or hauled-up for Contempt till 1991.
Peoples' Inner Hope Courts to maintain their Majesty & Dignity will prosecute 1000 Judges in context, who have tarnished & undermined the Fair image of Judiciary.
Let Judges relish Jail for months if not years ; to asses personally the convinences-N-comforts provided even to innocent citizens or persons who were not having Rs. 100 to give as Bail. Then they will be in better position to Transform Jails into Reformation Centres. Jailing corrupt Judges by Judges , we hope will instill confidence of people in Courts & law. Who-is-who of India then only will scare to get into any scam nor Criminals will think of becoming Legislators.

1979 : Chief Justice Mr. K. Veeraswami ; Chief Justice of India permitted Central Bureau of India to file case of Dis-proportionate of Income / wealth against Chief Justice Madras High Court Mr. K. Veeraswami ( father-in-law of Mr. Justice V. Ramaswami ). 30 years elaped. Sheltered by Courts' easy-go-tactic. [049.04] [059.05 ]

1991-93: Mr. Justice V. Ramaswami ( son-in-law of Chief Justice Mr. K. Veeraswami [049.04 ] ) : SAWANT COMMITTEE REPORT had held he is guilty of several charges. Supreme Court of India also upheld guilty of 3-4 charges ; & recommended to Parliament for further action. Parliamentarians failed in their Duty to Impeach the Sitting Judge of Supreme Court Mr. Justice V. Ramaswami ; not rising to the Heights of Eminent Constitution makers ; but chose to have unholy alliance with Corruption in Judiciary vis-a-vis Legislature & Government.[008.00 ].
Supreme Court which upheld Charges of Mis-Behaviour also , we opine , failed to prosecute him under Contempt of Court Act & relevant Laws . It also failed " To Do Complete Justice" by invoking Article142 . Criminal Judge was allowed to go scot-free; both by Parliament & Supreme Court !
Good precedent for other Judges ? If so What kind of message to we-innocent-Citizens ? For almost complete proceedings in SC & Parliament: [008.00 ]

1995 A.M. BHATTACHARJEE: The chief justice of the Bombay High Court was forced to resign in 1995 after it was found that he had received Rs.70 lakh as book advance from a publishing firm known to have links with the underworld.

1996 AJIT SENGUPTA: The Calcutta High Court judge made it a routine to issue ex parte, ad interim stay orders on anticipatory bail pleas from smugglers having links with the Mumbai underworld. He was arrested in 1996 for FERA violations after retirement

1994 to 1997: A.M. AHMADI: When he was Chief Justice of India (October 1994-March 1997), his daughter, a lawyer in the Delhi High Court, caused eyebrows to be raised for getting "special" treatment from certain judges. When some members of the bar sought a resolution banning lawyer relatives of judges from staying in the same house, the CJI got members to defeat the motion.

2000  A.S. ANAND: As Chief Justice of India. (a) He was accused of using his position to get the subordinate judiciary to rule in favour of his wife and mother-in-law in a suit that had been barred by limitation for two decades.For more: [049.05] [049.05A]  [049.05B]  [049.05C]  [049.05D]  [049.05E ] called as TANGLED PLOT. Also read Ram Jethmalani's " BIG EGOS, small men ".  (b) Supreme Court , while he was CJI,directed   a CBI probe after a dispute arose over his age in 2000. The investigation report was not made public.This arose due to scan copy published in Ram Jethmalani's " BIG EGOS, small men ".

2002: SEX FOR ACQUITTAL
In November 2002, Sunita Malviya, a Jodhpur-based doctor, alleged that a deputy registrar of the Rajasthan High Court had sought sexual favours for himself and for Justice Arun Madan to "fix" a case in her favour. Justice Mr.· Arun Madan . Case of Lady Sunita Malviya.STATUS: A committee set up by former CJI G.B. Pattanaik found prima facie evidence against Madan, who does not attend court anymore. Judge Resigned

CASH-FOR-JOB :Three judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court sought the help of disgraced PPSC chief R.P. Sidhu to ensure that their daughters and other kin topped examinations conducted by the commission . Judges are  M.L. Singh , Mehtab Sing Gill & Amarbir Singh
STATUS: Two inquiry panels indicted the judges. Gill and Amarbir Singh have resigned M.L. Singh continues, though no work is allotted to him.

2002-03: 3 Judges Mysore Sex Scandal ( alleged ) : On Sunday, November 3, 2002, three judges of the Karnataka High Court, along with two women advocates, allegedly got involved in a brawl with a woman guest at a resort. E(I)nquiry-in-camera or In-House Inquiry was & is contrary to Law . Is ultra vires Article 14 of Constitution of India: " The State shall not deny to any person equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India"
Following Questions / Issues, inter alia , arise

( a ) Enquiry in-camera was held contrary to the observations made by, Constituent Assembly of India in 1949. In its' Impeachment Order had held thus:"While we are alive to the desirability, in the interests of the public, of investigating charges against a Judge in open court, we held the Enquiry in-camera in view of the allegation made in the affidavits and the circumstances of the case. This mode of proceeding should not, however, be regarded as a precedent." [008.07 ].
( b) In the case of similar In-House Inquiry held under the Orders of Chief Justice of India in Jusice V. Ramaswami's case , Justice Ramaswami had held that " Inquiring Committee" as well as " Inquiry" have no basis & force of law. It is reflected in the Report , which was read-out by CJI to Advocates & publicised , submitted by 3 Judges Committee thus" Indeed Justice Ramaswami had made it clear to the Chief Justice that he did not recognise any such Jurisdiction in any body or authority."
(c) It will not be out-of place to mention here that Two of "Three Judges Committee " appointed by CJI in Re. V. Ramaswami's case are alleged to be involved in Judges Plot 4 Plot.[014.00]. It is like Criminal investigating another criminal .
( d ) If so how sure can we be that " 3 Judges Committee " appointed to invetigate " 3 Judges Mysore Sex Scandal " were un-biased or were above Board & have presented an accurate Report ?

Queries to Supreme Court , Parliament of India & Central Government
In Re. Judges' Mysore Sex Scandal
( a)" Will the Supreme Court Publicise Report of " 3 Judges Committee " ( all & sundry material); morefully to know whether any evidence adduced by many in support of Scam is informed to CJI & Supreme Court ?
(b) What is the Guarantee that despite prima facie evidence Judges of Supreme Court which consists of Few corrupt Judges seved in Karnataka are not inclined to take stern action ?
(c) Investigation of a Crime comitted by Minister or anyone lies within Executive Domain like the case Justice K.Veeraswami, in this case CBI . Is it not a case of hushing-up & messing-up of " 3 Pillars of Constitution " ?.
(d) How long will you try keeping suppressed Crimes of Judges of Supreme Court & High Courts when Union Law Minister Mr. P. Shiva Shankar , on 28th Nov.1987 said " Supreme Court is filled with FERA violators & Bride Burners…" ( AIR 1988 SC 1208 ). When Chief Justice Of India Justice E.S. Venkataramaiaha admits that "in every High Court there are 3-4 Judges who are out every evening to Party in Foreign Embassiies or at Advocates' places…drink…dine…" (1990 Cr LJ 2179 ) [041.09].
(e) 20% of Judges are corrupt , indirectly said Chief Justice of India Mr. Justice S.P. Bharucha , in other words admitted that 80% of Judges of India are not corrupt & are above board to be bribed or influnced ? Then why cases are not filed against 20% of Judges ?

LOSS of Confidence in Judiciary : The Actions & Inactions of Supreme Court trying to suppress crimes of Judges has resulted in We, the People of India losing confidence in Courts & given rise to a Question whether at all People of India's Fundamental & Statutory Rights are safe in present set of Judges & Courts and Laws Governing thereof ?

Conscience of Judiciary Shaken: Supreme Court of India: "Police Raj" it said when Judges all over India went on a kind of strike; for the reason that a District Judge in liquor prohibited Gujarat State in 1991; drunk & misbehaved , police acted as per law or so.
