The student of a little known college in Tamil Nadu, he had on his own applied to Rolls Royce and has been selected with a terrific deal. One that surpasses that of many IIT students. The Economic Times reports that Prasanna, who studied in Kongu Enginnering College, Perundurai has been given a job at Rolls Royce which pays $ 92,000 per year. That's right, it is $ 92,000. Rolls Royce selected 120 professionals from India this year through open recruitment- Prasanna is one of only two non-IIT ians in this list.

Prasanna will be permitted to do his Masters and Doctoral studies while working with Rolls Royce and can apply for patents based on his work. For this student who is bent upon research, he could not have asked for more. He seems to be a highly talented and focused individual. He got into IIT but chose his college to study his pet subject-mechanical engineering. He has been very active in presenting papers in various conferences despite the limited opportunities he got in his college.

Apparently, Prasanna did not get placement in any of the software companies which came to his campus. I hope they knew what they were doing. It appears to me that their loss is clearly Rolls Royce's gain.

Yesterday I went to the movies with a few friends and the one friend that drove showed up in his newest car to pick us up. He has always been quite extravagant with his houses, toys, cars, and women. So he drives up in his new 500k Rolls Royce. A  nice ride, no doubt, but flashy to say the least. The doors close with a touch of a button, among other little gadgets included in this one of a kind luxury vehicle.
At least I can say I've been in one. Even if it's a car that's worth as much as my house! Ridiculous!

On top of all that I met his girlfriend that he has been with for just over a year. A sweet young little thing. Nicely dressed, and with adorable dimples. Too bad that this is the 3rd girlfriend I've met in the last few months, and apparently he's been with each one for an extended period of time.  I believe he has one for every day of the week, and no, I'm not kidding.
How he manages to keep them all happy is beyond me, but that man must have stamina!

A low key day for work today. Not feeling to swift, and I've been so tired, so I'm taking it easy.

The company produced "Rolls-Royce" new car "Hyperion" for in 2008. So it is very luxurious car and hand-made. Capacity of 6.75 litre engine, which generates 453 horsepower strength. I leave you with images

It is not the first time that the Pininfarina Special Projects Division has designed a unique car from a standard production model. The flag Drophead auto features a 6.75L V12 engine developing a crest yield of 453hp (338kW) and 531lb-ft (720Nm) of torque, which is enough for an electronically partial top hustle of 155mph and a 0-60mph gallop of just 5.6 seconds. No main mechanical changes have been installed for the Hyperion.

ATLANTA: An Atlanta megachurch took in $69 million (€47 million) in 2006, according to a financial statement the church's minister released in response to a Senate investigation into him and five other well-known televangelists.

The Rev. Creflo Dollar disclosed the World Changers Church International's financial information to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, but said the money he spends is his own.

Dollar said his income comes from personal investments, including businesses and real estate ventures. But the church gave him a Rolls Royce, which he mainly uses for special occasions, he said.

Last night the Four Wheel Drift team was invited to witness the unveiling hosted by Goodings at Pebble Beach of the latest bespoke car from Pininfarina, the Hyperion.  Based on a Rolls-Royce, it is an enormous two-seat convertible. 

Body lines definitely find some common inspiration with those found on Pininfarina-designed 612 and 599 Ferraris. Interesting touches include two opening teak doors directly in front of the windscreen (for cargo storage.) 

Without seeing it in person, it is hard to grasp the scale of the vehicle.  It's has a 128-inch wheelbase and is about six inches longer overall than a BMW 750Li.  The driver appears to be sitting where rear-seats would be in a normal car, delivering the classic long-hood, short-rear proportions of Rolls-Royces of the 1920s and 1930s.

Reception of the car was quite positive, indicating Pininfarina's team, led by Special Project Director Paolo Garella, did a superlative job.

I stood with BMW design boss Chris Bangle when the sheet was pulled. I asked the good-humored guru of style if it "passed the Bangle test".

With a big smile, Chris replied "it's good...for Pininfarina", then proceeded to point out the best viewing angle (front 3/4) and nice touches on the car.

This is my first gumball rally and I have to say its been so far more than I could ever imagine. They say that Gumball3000 is a lifestyle that combines music, fashion and of course, the love of exotic cars and supercars rallying across the globe. So I thought this would fit right in for me. I am not only a member of Destination X TV but I am also very into music as I get ready to release my first recordings, and I already love driving having grown up outside of San Diego driving motorcycles, and 4 wheel trucks. Now this is something you don’t see everyday. I mean, most luxury sedans come out in your basic black, silver, white, maroon or gray color. Rarely do you see a luxury sedan sport a different color, especially one in lilac.

So who’s the only one capable of wanting to have this type of color for their sedan? Well, royalty that is. Rumor has it that this lilac-colored Rolls Royce Phantom – spotted in England by the way - belongs to none other than the Princess of Kuwait. Yup, her royal highness cruises around town in a lilac luxury sedan. I’m sure every one who sees this and realizes that it belongs to a princess will agree that it’s fit for royalty. I mean only someone of that stature could pull of owning one.

Now the question you have to ask yourself here is, is this the only one of its kind ever created? Well, not exactly. According to TopSpeed, Keith Moon, drummer of the legendary rock band The Who, owned one too. Of course, in true rock star fashion, he was able to have one by painting his Rolls Royce Phantom lilac using none other than house paint. I’m pretty sure that her Royal Highness didn’t have to resort to such antics just to get this color for her car.
