7 - Kara Suzanne, Rockwood Music Hall, New York City, NY, 19.

6 - Live, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Morrison, CO, 4.

5 - Under The Influence Of Giants, Spaceland, Los Angeles, CA, 14.

4 - Spin Doctors, Greeley Stampede, Greeley, CO, 5.

3 - Poison, Greeley Stampede, Greeley, CO, 5. Aerosmith and The Liebe Gott persönlich - die vielleicht surrealste Liveshow meines Lebens, unvergeßlich.

2 - Leslie Mendelson & Band, Rockwood Music Hall, New York City, NY, 19.

1 - Blues Traveler, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Morrison, CO, 4.

Being a good New Yorker, I refuse to even think about going to bed before 11pm. Tonight was not different. I called a few friends to see if they wanted to hang out, but no one was home. They too are good New Yorkers! I decided to venture down to Rockwood Music Hall in the L.E.S. and take a gamble that there would be some good tunes. The other night when I did that, I lost, but today I hit the jackpot. A band called 'Prig' was just setting up. All ten of them. 3 guitar players (sorry, I don't know the difference between a guitar and a bass :) ), 1 keyboard player, 1 violinist, 2 sax's, 1 trumpet, and two drummers (on one set). Now all we need is a partridge in a pear tree... These guys were so awesome! They were such fun entertainers. Half of the charm was that they all fit on the stage. For those of you who haven't been to Rockwood, the 'music hall' part is a bit misleading. In fact, the whole place isn't much bigger than my studio. I really hope to see this 'little' band again because they put a smile on my face and made me dance! And to top it all off, I met a fellow artist, Michael Arthur who is amazing at capturing with pen and paper the vibe of the moment. Check out his work: http://www.michaeldarthur.com/. Michael drew one of the sax players in about 4 minutes flat. Such incredible talent...

We're back in New York after two weeks of tour dates in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan. Had some really nice shows and made lots of new friends. Thanks to everyone that helped make this leg of the tour such a success. We have a little time off before Lars and I hit Upstate NY this coming week, then doing a NYC show on Friday, May 16th, 8 pm at Rockwood Music Hall with the band!

I haven't had time to post pictures of the tour yet but will hopefully get to it after we finish up with this next leg of the tour. In the meantime you can check out these pics that were posted by cleverock.com who came to our show at The Winchester (which is btw my new favourite venue in Cleveland!). Also, the Philadelphia Daily News wrote about Reverie: "Ear-grabbing pop singer-songwriter has a confident yet gentle voice, with tints of soul, gospel and Afropop rhythms." Thanks to everyone that came out to our Tin Angel show!

While it's been a really hectic schedule, the response we're getting from the audiences and local radio makes it all feel so worth it. When we came through Northeast Ohio we did a taping for a show on Akron's WAPS, 91.3 The Summit with Tom Ball, aka Twistin' Tom, during which we played a lot of songs from the new album. I also ended up doing an impromptu cover of "Carpet of the Sun" by Renaissance and got to DJ some of my current favourites bands. The show will air later this month - I will let you know when we get an air date.

This coming week we are going to be playing on WAER Radio in Syracuse, NY Thursday, May 8th. We're doing a pre-taping that morning that I believe will air on the station sometime between noon and 3 pm. They're on 88.3 FM and the web site is WAER.org if you want to tune in online. We're also going to do an in-store performance and CD signing at Big Apple Music which is a music and audio/video store located in New Hartford, NY. Friday night we'll be at one of our favourite spots upstate called The College Street Cafe. That's a 9 pm show and I will have Lars Potteiger with me on all these. You can check out Lars' solo work at myspace.com/larspotteiger.

A bunch more stuff is coming up this Spring and Summer including performances at the New York Book Festival in Central Park, Bronx Week, MusikFest, Fairfax Corner Summer Concert Series and a few others that we're still working on. In July I'm heading to the UK to do my first solo tour over there. I'll be performing in London, Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry and a few other locations, including a spot at the Kenilworth Festival on Saturday, July 19th. After that date I'm heading to Germany where I will meet up with Chris. We're planning on him joining me on bass for a few shows that we're currently working on setting up. We do have a date in Berlin, that's on Wednesday July 23rd with a local band called Stylblyten.

Looking forward to keeping the music coming and hope to see many of you this week and on May 16th in NYC!

It's Tuesday night and I'm beat. Four housr of sleep after four housr of drinking and norehbang isn't nearly enough, and I'm pretty sure I'm getting too old to pull off this crap. It's and 11pm show in Manhattan, which means that she's not taking the stage until close to midnight.

And yet I wait.

It's the principal of the matter, now. I've missed three or four shows, I've tried to do this for three years. Finally, FINALLY, tonight I just might be able to catch Vienna Teng in concert. I just hope I don't accidentally poke her eye out, like I nearly did last time.
