Some grannies just Shouldn't be messed with. An 85-year old Pennsylvania woman calmy walked past a burglar in her house , got her pistol, and ordered him to call police. "I just walked right on past him to the bedroom and got my gun" Leda Smith said "I said, 'What are you doing in my house?'"

i have all this hate to show

to this girl that i know

she is one big bitch

her lies, are about to stitch

all those important parts,

and hit her randomly with darts.

so she can feel the hatred

from me: a young kid.

Hell with it because i wont be nice

she is the one who added the hot spice

by doing what a bad girl does: stealing.

i'll soon get her to the revealing.

Who know what she stole from my house

Not just cheese like a mouse

but valuables like a robber at night.

All i wanna do is go up to her for a fight

but i know i cant because it will leave a big fat hole

so i cant bring back everything she knows she stole!

This bites big time, hard on my ass

I'm just going to whip this guilty lass

with my words that will slice her body

inch by inch of that bloody

ungrateful maggot. That slut

i woke up one day and threw my dreams away--
packed them in a suitcase and saved them for a rainy day.
i figured that since my life was filled with depression
then i had learned my lesson...
to never aspire.
hanging on the wires of memory, i buried my destiny in fresh soil,
watered the grave with my soul and didn't know what to do next.
there was no way for me to express when fantasies had turned to death.
but now after my grieving time, i've decided to go after mine
so i'm digging...call me a grave-robber cuz i'm stealing
what i had to bury to find--
what i needed to pack away until i gathered my mind
but now that i'm healing, i'm fully embracing,
loving, facing, and chasing
these dreams of mine.

Yesterday, 6:40 i saw the new Batman movie. The joker- Heath Ledger did an excellent job as the joke

Yesterday, 6:40 i saw the new Batman movie. The joker- Heath Ledger did an excellent job as the joker, to bad he died :( In this movie the joker is a very clever man, scary but clever. If you have seen the movie did you notice that whenever he told the story about his scars on his mouth, the story always changes. First it was his dad that was drunk and cut his mouth with a knife, Then he said he took a razor and cut himself. When he changed his story about them i thought i was going crazy but then after the movie i asked my friend and he thought the same thing..lol. Batman- Christian Bale also did a good job as the Batman, Batman gets new armor in this movie, The armor is lighter so he can move faster and is stronger against dog bites! but weaker against guns and knifes. OH MY GOODNESS i big shocker in this movie TWO FACE was in it! that shocked me. as soon as batman was carrying Harley Dent out of the building and it exploded and only half of his face was on fire i new what was going to happen. i hope they make the next batman movie soon with Two Face.. But wait didn't he die at the end?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? i don't think he did whenever the bad guy in a movie falls off a building and they show him just lying there he's not dead he's going to come back. A couple of my favorite parts where when Harley said he was the Batman and the police took him away Bruce just sat there and didn't do anything about it! that shows how good of a friend he is. Another one is when the Joker dresses up as a nurse and has a wig on and a dress and everything and he goes to see Two Face in the hospital and he sits down next to Two Face(Harley Dent turns out to be Two Face) and with the most serious look on his face he says "Hi" i don't know why but it was hilarious, if you have seen the movie i know you laughed at that part, if you haven't you most likely think its stupid but it's not. Lastly is when in the very beginning they are robbing a bank and when the alarm guy is done with his job the guy behind him shoots him, when the safe cracker is done cracking the safe the robber behind him shoots the safe cracker, when it is down to two robbers left one of them pulls out a gun and says "The Joker told you to shoot me as soon as the money was in the bags didn't he!" and he says "No i am suppose to shoot the bus driver." and then the bus driver pulls in and runs over the robber with the gun. and then the robber shoots the bus driver and that robber turns out to be the joker! hahahaha it was cool. well that is all i have to say about the batman movie! please leave comments about what you thought!

It is crucial to stay up to date on news-- the political campaign, the new deadly sins, Brangelina's twins, and international quarrels. But most important of all? The odd stories that leave you cringing from the awkward situations people got themselves in to. From such stories, we learn from others mistakes, and are cognizant not to make the same ones. Let that be a lesson!

Without further ado, I present you with awkward news articles in an effort to improve your decision making, and reduce the level of self-awkwardness:

If you’re in need of a quick confidence boost, all you need to do is take a look at the storie

If you're in need of a quick confidence boost, all you need to do is take a look at the stories of these incompetent people:

Not Ready for Prime Time: Police quickly made an arrest in Hughes, Ark. (pop. 1,800) in May after a Pepsi machine was stolen from a liquor store; the distinct dolly tracks led from the store to the man's home, and besides, he had left the machine in his front yard. [Arizona Republic-AP, 5-30-08]

I don't think this one needs any commentary. But I do give an A for effort. The fact that he was able to get the machine all the way to his house deserves a tiny bit of credit.

The armed robber of a Fifth Third Bank in Orlando, Fla., is still at large, but based on the surveillance video, a sheriff's detective said the man was "probably not familiar with handguns" because he appeared to be pointing his at himself during the robbery. [WKMG-TV (Orlando), 6-2-08]

The man had the gun pointed at himself and the bank workers still let him take the money? Really? If I were them, I would have kept badgering him until he decided to actually shoot.

Dentist Who Hates It When That Happens: Anne Greer filed a lawsuit in June against Winter Park, Fla., dentist Wesley Meyers over the death of her father last year during procedures to secure his dentures with implants. During the October 2006 visit, Meyers had accidentally dropped a screwdriver down the patient's throat, which required a colonoscopy to remove. The man returned the following year to give Meyers another chance (against his daughter's wishes), and during that procedure, Meyers accidentally dropped a torque wrench down his throat, creating problems that ultimately proved fatal. [WKMG-TV (Orlando), 6-22-08]

Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me? I don't what's worse: the dentist dropping tools down a patient's throat twice or the patient who decided to go back after the first time he did it.

Rehabilitation for double bank robber and long-time solvent sniffer Anthony Trevor Grafton has suffe

Rehabilitation for double bank robber and long-time solvent sniffer Anthony Trevor Grafton has suffered a setback with a conviction for stealing a can of spray-paint from The Warehouse.

Grafton told the police he took the $9.99 spray can because he was addicted.

Court News reporters have not seen him at court since he got onto a serious rehabilitation programme at Nova Lodge.

That was early last year, when the 38-year-old beneficiary was said to be making impressive progress to overcome his 20-year drug habit.

He had surprised everyone by sticking to the programme.

It was a chance for him, because he was due for sentence for two bank robberies committed in early 2006 when he was desperate for money to buy drugs.

Grafton demanded money from tellers at two Christchurch banks. He made his getaway in taxis both times. Only $100 — used to pay a taxi fare — has been recovered of the $1300 he took. He was bound to be caught because he was so well known, did not use a disguise within view of the security cameras, and used taxis to get away.

In the Christchurch District Court today, he admitted shoplifting the spray can on Friday.

Defence counsel Gilbert Hay said Grafton “seems to be in fairly bad shape at present”. He had recently been released from hospital after surgery and was on medication.

Judge Raoul Neave convicted and discharged him.

… so that I can put a fucking bullet into the head of those robbers, thieves and thugs who ar

... so that I can put a fucking bullet into the head of those robbers, thieves and thugs who are currently terrorizing the lives of the common people now. Just the other day, one of my close friends told me about how he left his car in the parking lot of his friend's apartment and when he went back, his car was gone - just like that.

He went to the police station to make a report (not that they are much help anyway) and the police told him that on that same day and same area, there were 5 vehicles reported stolen. So today, after I finished my last post in my blog and was about to hit the sack, an SMS came in telling me another friend of mine got his house broken into and they took his car as well.

So here I am sitting and staring blankly at my screen wondering what is wrong with these people? I look back at some of my earlier posts predicting that crime rates are expected to rise but what I did not expect is to be so close to the after-effects. Of course I cannot ascertain if these 2 were mere conincidences but I dread to think that 2 of my buddies are so unlucky at around the same time.

At this point in time, I am filled with mixed feelings. Anger, disappointment and frustration just to name a few. Who's fault is it anyway? Is it ours as the citizens of Malaysia that we are not careful with our lives and belongings? Or could it be due to the oil price increase? The government? The police? Who?

Anyway, I am very tired but I just can't sleep after hearing what happened. So I am going to take the easy way out and put the blame on the most obvious choice - our government.

THIS is the effect of an abrupt oil increase. THIS is the effect of bad planning. THIS is the effect of greed and the FAILURE to watch over the welfare of the general citizen. THIS is the perfect example of irresponsibility. As citizens who can we turn to now? We're not even moving forward anymore.

Change of lifestyle? What the f**k do you want us to do? Ride bicycles? Plant our own damn vegetables? Let's tell the world that Malaysia has gone from building the tallest building in the world to being an agricultural nation. Shouldn't be that hard since most of those making the decisions have a third world mentality.

Yes, I blame our government because tomorrow I will not be able to live my life in peace. I will need to be extra careful when driving into my house or even getting into/off my car. I will need to take extra precaution whenever I am going out for a jog. I will need to worry about the safety of my loved ones and those closest to me.

In other words... I will be more paranoid than ever and I am sure a lot of us are in the same boat. Some of us probably had first hand encounters with those scums and I know how it feels to have your house broken into, to have a loved one robbed in broad daylight, or to even endure the uncertainties of paranoia. Let's not even go into rape or murder...we've seen those in the papers.

Words cannot describe how angry I am. Here is a suggestion:

Everytime a snatch thief or robber is caught, the police should chop his hand off in public. I don't care if human rights organizations opposes it. If these people cannot act like human beings, then they should not be treated as such. Put it in plain view for all to see especially for those animals who are thinking of commiting heinous crimes such as these.

Now where is my gun?

A study conducted by Dr. Ana Rose Childress and Dr. Charles O’Brien of the University of Pennsylvania shows drug craving “triggers” are activated in the part of the brain responsible for emotions and rewards.

Cocaine addicts were shown a series of images for 33 milliseconds each—not nearly enough time to register consciously—yet brain imaging of the study participants showed activity in the limbic system (the area of the brain that is directly associated with reward) that coincided with the images.

“[The study] is the first evidence that cues outside one’s awareness can trigger rapid activation of the circuits driving drug-seeking behavior.”

Now we are finding that, in Florida at least, painkillers are not only gaining in popularity, but are in greater demand than so-called “hard drugs” like cocaine and heroin. Florida may well prove to be ground zero for the unfolding of the painkiller epidemic story.

In a recent blog post, Stanton Peele, Ph.D. (author of Love and Addiction), looks at all alcohol and drug related deaths in Florida in 2007. According to the post, prescription painkillers Vicodin and OxyContin were responsible for more deaths than all other substances combined. Even tranquilizers, often used in suicide attempts, came in a distant third.

Peele doesn’t mention the source of his data, but seeing as he has been a respected author on the subject of addiction for over 30 years—I am inclined to accept his numbers. If Dr. Peele is correct, as I suspect that he is, the Painkiller Epidemic is further advanced than even I had imagined.

In the past week alone, there have been three news stories covering armed pharmacy robberies in Pennsylvania. My original goal in launching SWALLOW was to raise awareness of what I refer to as the painkiller epidemic. I continue to be very concerned about this issue, and will include regular updates on this blog.

While heroin and methamphetamine addiction garner the lion's share of the traditional media's attention these days—with the exception of the Rush Limbaugh story a number of years ago, painkiller addiction has gotten comparatively little press. In the meantime, we are seeing more and more desperate acts, by more and more desperate addicts, some even going so far as robbing pharmacies for narcotic painkillers—in particular OxyContin.

What makes this disparity in coverage even more troubling is that there is another very important side to the painkiller story. My contention is that many (not all) painkiller addicts have unfortunately come about their addiction in a "non-traditional" fashion. The average story (and there are many variations) involves a post-op pain management patient being prescribed huge quantities of narcotics, and then for one reason or another abruptly losing access to these highly addictive drugs—but not before acquiring a powerful heroin-like chemical dependence. The reasons for this range from losing insurance (painkillers are expensive), to being abandoned by their physician for showing signs of addiction (imagine!).

Many of these individuals have little prior history of drug use or abuse, and suddenly find themselves very sick, very scared, and very desperate.

Yesterday, I had the scare of my life. Let me tell you what happened....

My mother and my big sister were sleeping, my little brother and I were alone downstairs. I was surfing the internet and my brother was watching television. It was in the evening. My brother pretended to sleep after watching television because he did`nt want to do his homework, I knew that.

Then, the doorbell rang. My mother always told me never to open the gate if I`m not told to do so, so I didn`t. Then the doorbell rang a several more times so I looked out the window. I saw a tall guy putting his arm over the gate. I saw him but he didn`t see me. I still did`nt open the gate. I was getting a little freaked out. After ringing about two more times, he went away. I was relieved. Then he climbed up my house`s brick wall at the right and he jumped down on my car which was near the brick wall! I didn`t scream, but I locked the door, grabbed my brother and ran upstairs to my mother`s bedroom quickly. I told my mother and my mother was really shocked. My brother was really scared. My mother asked my brother and I to wake my sister up. So we did. She woke up. She wasn`t that scared. She ran downstairs and opened the door. My mom warned her not to. So, when she opened the door, she didn`t see anyone. My mother, brother and I came downstairs. My mom was going to call the police. Then my mom heard someone playing with a ball. She realized that our neighbor`s ball had fallen into our house`s front and it was`nt really a robber, it was just my neighbor. We were all "kind of" relieved, but we were not really sure.

So, my sister and I went outside and asked the neighbor if he came in our house. The neighbor said yes and we were all relieved. He apologized. I was so happy that it was`nt a robber or anything. Man, that was the scare of my life!

LAHORE: Taking their cue from Karachiites, people in a densely populated area in the Sanda police jurisdiction caught a dacoit and severely beat him before handing him over to the police.

The accused was identified as Amjad Ali of Sahiwal. However, his three accomplices fled with the loot, including 35 new, 48 old and 50 faulty cell-phones and Rs 95,000. Four robbers stormed a mobile-phone shop in Rajgarh, Sandah, and held owner Azam Nisar and salesmen at gunpoint. They collected the booty and left the shop. However, the owner raised an alarm which attracted locals who started chasing the accused. They caught one of them and seized two pistols.

Keeping in view the traditional thana culture and justice system, they decided to set up their own court in the open and started beating the accused with kicks and fists. They also contemplated a proposal to set the accused ablaze and arranged for patrol. However, timely intervention of elders foiled their designs. Meanwhile, Sanda police officials reached the spot and arrested the accused. It was learnt that during their escape, two dacoits could not start their motorcycle (LEL-6838), as a result three fled on a motorcycle, leaving their accomplice behind.
