As I urged you upon my departure for Macedonia, remain on at Ephesus so that you may instruct certain men not to teach strange doctrines, nor to occupy themselves with myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than furthering the administration of God which is by faith.

But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. For some men, straying from these things, have turned aside to fruitless discussion, wanting to be teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions.  1 Timothy 1:1-7

Which is it going to be, Liturgical Church? Are we going to argue endlessly that our church is the true church over against some other church because we trace our beginnings back to Peter. Or are we going to become the true church without spot or wrinkle that Jesus is returning to claim? He said: "When I return will I find any faith upon the earth." Luke 18:8

Are we going to allow the Lord Jesus to cleanse His Church? He is now shaking the very foundations of heaven and earth. And He is shaking the Church. If we cling to what is not of Him we will find ourselves outside of His Church. In fact, we remember that our Lord told a parable about the wedding feast. Many were invited but they were too distracted to attend. He instructed His servants to go out into the highways and byways and invite anyone and everyone who would to come to the banquet. Those who do come will be the true church. Those who do not would be locked outside, no matter what they think their credentials may be.

The time for playing church is over. Without revival there may not be any resemblance left of what we think of as "church." But there will be a remnant people known to God. They will be the ones who know Him. It is time to get to know the Master. Mary, angels, saints, holy relics, elaborate clothes, elaborate titles, elaborate rituals, etc. will not stack up, not when false doctrines are being preached and practiced. Not when new age has crept into the church.  (Is there a contest between the various churches to see which one can proclaim the most heresy?)

Get back to the basics! Get back to the Bible. Get back to Jesus as the only savior. Get back to Spirit baptism. Get back to Godly authority.

But you say: "We have the Church Fathers. We have the teachings of the Patriarchs. We are the true orthodoxy. We have the Apostolic succession." Yes, but do you have Jesus?

It is time to make the beautiful church once more the beautiful Church of Jesus Christ. Let the Lord Jesus repair the crack in the urn while there is still something left to repair. He understands the Liturgical Church. He will come in and restore it. He is joining all three understandings of the Church: Liturgical, Pentecostal, and Evangelical into one. His Church should never have been divided in the first place. Stubborn leaders would not get together and pray. Men acted apart from the Holy Spirit. In their arrogance they spoke for the Lord, but they did not consult the Lord.

Pray that the Lord will restore His Church before He returns in judgment.

Read Revival in the Liturgical Church Part I

The picture of the urn above represents the Liturgical Church. Its origin is of old — even before the time of the Apostle Peter — back to the time of Moses in the wilderness. The point is that God laid out a pattern and form for His Temple which ultimately became His Church. The form may have semed elaborate to some, but each part of the Temple had a specific and significant function. Overall, it was designed to contain God's very presence. First it was his glory contained within the Holy of Holilies in the Ark of the Covenant. Then it was to be His glory poured out upon the Church — the Body of Christ. For when Jesus died on the cross, the curtain within the Temple, which separated God from His people, was torn from top to bottom.

What has happened to the Liturgical Church? Over the years the form became more elaborate and ornate. Extraneous decorations were added which were never meant to be there. These decorations and alterations began to overshadow what the urn or true church was supposed to contain. People began to worship the urn rather than the precious treasure contained within. Rather than reveal, the Liturgical Church was beginning to obscure, the treasure of God's presence. This church held onto the sacrament of Holy Communion. It held onto the notion of spiritual growth. It held onto healing and miracles. But while holding onto these teachings and commandments of Jesus the Liturgical Church failed to understand that the urn was cracked. The very nature and lordship of Jesus was leaking out.

Perhaps what is needed is more than a revival. What is needed is a reformation. This time the baby should not be thrown out with the bath water. But where to start? How about letting people know that it is alright to read their Bibles? In fact, meditating on the Word of God is required. People are meditating on everything else, even within the Liturgical Church. The Holy Spirit will help people understand the scriptures. Pastors and priests, pray that your people receive the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Such an outpouring is not the exclusive right of preists and certain designated saints.

But two men had remained in the camp; the name of one was Eldad and the name of the other Medad. And the Spirit rested upon them (now they were among those who had been registered, but had not gone out to the tent), and they prophesied in the camp. So a young man ran and told Moses and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.” Then Joshua the son of Nun, the attendant of Moses from his youth, said, “Moses, my lord, restrain them.”

But Moses said to him, “Are you jealous for my sake? Would that all the LORD’S people were prophets, that the LORD would put His Spirit upon them!”  Numbers 11:26-29

According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:10-11

Evangelical Church, you have done well to hold onto Jesus as Savior. But it is time to understand all of His teachings. He builds up His Church upon Himself, with His Word. A Bible church must embrace all of the Word of God.

They laid hands on the apostles and put them in a public jail. But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the gates of the prison, and taking them out he said, “Go, stand and speak to the people in the temple the whole message of this Life.”

Notice that the angel encouraged the disciples to preach all of Jesus. (In some circles today we are hearing that an angel is saying not to preach Jesus. What can of angel might this be?) So, Evangelical Church, are you up to it? Never mind about offending someone's doctrine. Do we seek the favor of God or man?

Pastors, step up to the plate. Parishioners, do not leave your church. Stay and pray for it. Encourage your pastor. Get together with those who take prayer seriously and pray in this revival. Pastor, preach in this revival. God wants to bring it. He certainly wants it to come to the church that has upheld the name of Jesus. You have a head start.

Start praying with anticipation and expectation for a move of God. Don't worry about signs and wonders. Pray for discernment. And don't say the days of the Holy Spirit are over lest your church be over.

Is Todd Bentley preparing to open a new portal for angelic visitations in Pasadena?   Is it just me or does anyone else see the Freemasonic / Knights Templar connection to these meetings - "33 nights" and 33 degrees?

This is just rediculous.  This is pseudo-christian new age mumbo jumbo that unfortunately too many people are buying.  But apparently Peter Wagner and his ilk have been spewing the same thing for years:

However, the first gate we must go through is Heaven’s Gate! This is where we enter boldly into the Throne Room and receive super-abounding grace so we can leap through the place of the “new” in the earth! Speakers include Peter Wagner, Chuck Pierce, Barbara Yoder, Pat Francis, and Cindy Jacobs."

First of all, does anyone even ask the obivious question "what are they even talking about?"  Realign the nations???   Align must be Peter Wagner's favorite word.... I mean that's what he did to Todd Bentley when he commissioned him.  But Bentley has boasted that there was an open portal over Lakeland.  He even talked about building a permanent building to house the "revival".

 Guess it never happened because now he's taking his show on the road.   In total contradiction he now says: "Where once the revival hubs seemed to stay put, sometimes for years,—the Lord is telling us, “Move, walk the land, move the Ark of My Glory.”

And here's an even stranger connection.   L Ron Hubbard and his partner Jack Parsons attempted to open a portal in 1946 in Pasadena, California (where Todd Bentley is going to be this weekend to open gates and portals with Che Ahn)  to release the woman Babylon, which is talked about in the book of Revelation. 

"According to occult lore, the Portal (Alistar Crowley's) was further enlarged by a Jet Propulsion Laboratory founder and rocket fuel scientist named Jack Parsons, and Scientology and Dianetics founder L. Ron Hubbard in 1946, facilitating - so it is said - a monumental paradigm shift in human consciousness.  This Magickal working was called the Babylon Working, and like the Amalantrah Working (Crowley's ritual) on which its ritual was patterned, it was based on ceremonial sex magick. 

Together they "endeavoured to ... incarnate a physical aspect of Babylon, the Scarlet Woman of the Book of Revelations (17:3-6).  They believed that Babylon was the herald of the new Age of Horus, and that Revelations was the understandably negative interpretation by those of the dying Age of Osiris."

The gist of it was that Parsons desired to take the spirit of Babylon, the "Whore of Babylon," and invest it in a human being.  The idea was to create a child in the spiritual world, and then call down the spiritual baby and direct it into a human womb.  When born, this child would incarnate the forces of Babylon, which they considered to be a good thing. 

In any event, the rites were duly performed as written from January 4th to 15th of that year.  It is not known if a spiritual child was enwombed from them.  What is known is that the Magickal Portal first created by Crowley, and which originally let Lam into the earth-world, was reestablished with considerable intensity by Parsons and Hubbard.  From the diaries of the participants, it is also clear that they were not as adept as Crowley in the closings of portals.  What they seemed to have accomplished was the drastic enlargement and ripping of an existing Magickal Portal and the subsequent non-closure of it.  Perhaps the rip they created was not possible to close.  In any event, the modern UFO era began exactly a year and a half later on June 24th, 1947, with Kenneth Arnold's sighting over the Cascade Mountains in Washington State."

And June 23rd 2008, on the eve of the modern UFO era, Todd Bentley was 'commissioned' in another occult ritual.  (see my blogs on the occult symbolism in Todd Bentley's commissioning service).  One has to beg the question, who and what are the entities that Bob Jones, Todd Bentley and now Peter Wagner are trying to bring into the earth realm through their open gates and portals?  If Todd Bentley's "angels" are not of God, then who are they?  Can anyone say Genesis 6?? 

The Evangelical Church has always emphasized revival. "Revivals" are apparently programed periodically to gather in the "backsliders." These are the ones who were saved once but are not acting like they are "saved." Some may even question the initial salvation experience of these backsliders, especially if they believe the doctrine: "once saved always saved."

What is difficult to comprehend is a revival without the action of the Holy Spirit. The Church began when the Holy Spirit fell on the disciples. If we are disciples then we need the Holy Spirit to fall on us, do we not? We remember what happened in Acts 2. But what about Acts 4?

And when they had prayed, the place where they had gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.

The falling of the Holy Spirit was not a one time occurrence. It did not happen one time and stop. It was not just for a certain age. In fact, the Holy Spirit was given to be a comforter and guide. The Spirit is meant to strengthen us and help sustain. Of course there are going to be backsliders if they have to live the Christian life with the Holy Spirit placed on the back burner.

Jesus promised His disciples that they would have the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit would lead them into all truth. Was not one of the reasons for the giving of the Holy Spirit was to help us understand scripture? Imagine trying to understand scripture while simultaneously limiting the work of the Holy Spirit! Imagine a Protestant mainline church where doctrine trumps revelation! How can a church be a "Bible" church when a portion of the New Testament is just not believed?

What about not taking the Holy Communion very often? Well, what would be the point of taking it if Jesus were not truly in the Communion? But consider this passage:

Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?”

So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves.

“He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. “For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. “As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. “This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.”   John 6:52-58

Imagine trying to live the Christian life without the sustaining power of the Holy Communion. Of course there are going to be backsliders. Jesus said that we have no life in ourselves. Why would we not want to take on His life if we believe in Him and the power of His resurrection?

Evangelicals, you have done well to hold on to the truth that Jesus is the only way to the Father. You have done well to emphasize the born again experience. But it is time to stop protesting and start believing more. Repentance is required for revival. Sometine we have to repent from unbelief.

The person who loaded this video up to Godtube called it Genuine Revival in China. But when I see this video I do not see a revival at all. I see true Christianity as it should be every day..just as the Lord intended it. We might think this is a revival due to the great apostacy and lukewarmness of our day but this is nothing more than Christianity at it's heart. For me there were three things that stood out to me in a powerful way and all of these should be evident and freely flow from the heart of anyone who claims to have had a true conversion by the Spirit of Christ. Yet these things I find are missing from the lives of so many who claim to be follower of Jesus. I can only assume that those who do not have these aspects of Christianity in their life are sitting on a false conversion and should worry about the current state of their soul. None of these aspects are things that must be worked up or somehow produced by our own efforts. These are graces that should daily flow from the hearts of the truly converted. Just as a damn that has been breached cannot help but pour forth water; a heart that's been truly converted cannot help but pour forth these Spirit wrought graces in their life. They are the fruit of true salvation.

1. The first thing that is evidently clear in the video of these believers is a genuine love for the Lord Jesus Christ. So much so that they cannot help but talk about His great love and mercy that they have PERSONALLY received. Not that they "know" about His mercy, or that they have "heard" about His mercy, but they have PERSONALLY EXPERIENCED His saving grace which cause them to be broken at the thought of His great love towards them. They continually talk about the person JESUS Christ because their hearts have been Purified by faith and Christ LIVES, actually, presently, and continually in their heart by faith (Acts 15:9, Eph 3:17). Today I see so many who claim to be followers of Christ continually talking about doctrine and bible truths but not about Jesus and their fellowship with Him. They'll talk about every endtime doctrine out there, point out all the faults in the "harlot church", continue to endlessly debate Calvinism and Armininism, an yet you never hear them talk about the Lord Jesus Christ personally. They never talk about their fellowship with Christ by His Spirit... how Christ humbled them by His grace, how He visited them in a special way in private prayer, how Christ lovingly exposed a sin in their heart which they humbly confessed in seeking to be more like their master, or how they were so caught up in just praising Jesus for His goodness towards them. How can this be? It cannot be this way for those who are in true fellowship with Jesus. The apostle's, in Acts 4:20, in response to the priest and Sadducees:

"For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard."

They had physically seen and heard Jesus...but they had also internally seen and heard Jesus. And that is the true testimony of all who have been born by the Spirit of God. They have seen Christ with they eyes of faith and have heard Him by the Spirit of God. And if you have seen and heard Jesus in this very real way you will be like the Apostles and live in such a way that you "cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard". So ask yourself if you have really seen and heard the Lord Jesus PERSONALLY. If you have, the reality is, it will be evident to all just like the brethren in the video.

2. The second thing that stood out to me was the deep love you see them have for the brethren. There is such a joy for them to worship the Lord together and serve Him together. They don't find fellowship burdensome but rather a true joy and their hearts desire. This is one of the CLEAR marks of one who is truly converted and born of God. They desire to, regularly and often, be around other saints physically and to worship Jesus together. They love to be around other saints and exhort them and encourage them in their walk with Jesus. As Richard Owen Roberts says of one who's been truly born of God:

" He finds that to love his neighbor as himself is less of a commandment and more of a internal prompting and desire than he could have ever earlier imagined."

When the true believer reads in Acts how the disciple met daily it brings them great joy to think they could do the same and be around their brethren and glorify the Lord together. What I find today though with so many who profess to be followers of Jesus is the exact opposite. So many do not have that natural, God given, overflowing desire to meet with the brethren. They have all kinds of excuses as to why they are not meeting with the saints for prayer, worship and fellowship. Many I find have the excuse that they are looking for a good, or perfect, fellowship. While this is to be desired they must realize there is no such thing as a perfect fellowship (I'm not talking about false doctrine. (If the church is teaching heresy, like emergent post-modern teaching then LEAVE IT). There will always be people who are at different places in their walk with the Lord. There will be babes in Christ as well as tares and false brethren. But this is no excuse not to meet together. With all the mess going on in the Corinthian church the Apostle did not tell them to stop meeting together and find a perfect fellowship. No..Paul sought to bring discipline and instruction to this body and to exhort them into a pure faith and fellowship. But I think the real reason many professing Christians will not engage or desire real fellowship is because it causes them to have to walk in the light. When believers are around other believers their faults and sins are usually clearly evident for others to see. Those who are unwilling to let go of their sins naturally forsake fellowship for fear of being exposed for who they truly are. But all this really does is serve to show them the true condition of their heart before God. Those who walk like this should fear for the condition of their soul. You might think that is a strong statement but it's the truth. These professing Christians are not manifesting one of the natural proofs of salvation that one who is born of God does. Remember what Jesus said: "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."

3. The third thing that stood out to me in the video was the willingness and joy of the believers to carry their cross, to sacrifice, and to suffer for the name of Jesus. I can't tell you how joyful I was to see believers who want to carry their cross, who want to sacrifice ALL, and who expect to suffer for the name of Jesus. They do not treat this as something that a Christian must be "called" to do. They read the bible and see this is the clear teaching for all who would be disciples of Jesus. The thought of sacrificing for Jesus and the saints brings them joy. They read a passage like Luke 14:25-33 and while reading it with Godly fear and trembling, they at the same time count it a joy to lose all and follow Jesus. False and unconverted "brethren" read a passage like that and see a huge, impossible, burdensome command to be obeyed. While true saints take joy because if Jesus said we must do it He'll give us the grace to fully obey! It's a command of God but it's also a promise that God, in His abundant grace, will give us everything we need so we can give all to Jesus! Do you see the difference? One takes joy at that thought of being able to give all to Jesus while the other sees an impossible command that they really don't want to obey. So how do you see the commands of Christ? Can people look at your lifestyle and actually see what you believe? Or is your lifestyle so opposite of the bible that when you tell people you believe what Jesus said in Luke 14 they cannot tell that you actually believe it by the way you live your life?

So for those of you who are genuine children of God, I know this video will bear witness with you. The deep genuine love for God, love for the brethren, and the joy of accepting the cross of Christ will be your testimony as well. For those who do not have these Spirit born graces in your life I would encourage you to examine your life by the scriptures. Let God expose your heart with the purifying light of His word that you may be soundly and truly converted and become a child of God. Don't cover up the true condition of your heart with religious works and speech. Be honest about the true condition of your heart and turn to CHRIST for salvation. Unless you are born again you will not enter the kingdom of God.

For the past quarter of a dozen years, I have been running slower than the slowest deer...... Its high time to sharpen my faculties and exhort for an ultimate renaissance..... rise like a phoenix from the ashes of desolation....!!!!

My pyre is already decorated....... decorated with insane manifestations of imbecile beings.... whose strategies and approach seems harebrained and cretinous....!!!!

Its time for a dash....a final sprint towards the long forgotten goals...... a lam from the imbroglio and pandemonium....... and the much wanted inspiration imbibed from "The African Lesson"!!!!!!

We can't stand before God unless we're pure. The priests knew that; it was their job to purify the people of their nation. Jewish history to that time showed that the priests had their work cut out for them because the Jews just couldn't manage to stay pure. Even after the renewal the rebuilt wall brought, the Jews couldn't stay pure. Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem several years later and found them having returned to all sorts of damaging practices that they had promised to stay away from. Boy, was Nehemiah ticked.

It's just as impossible for us to stay pure as it was for the Jews. This is why Jesus was needed, of course. The lamb of God kept the Law perfectly and bore the weight of all our sins on the cross, et cetera, you know the rest.

I once heard a preacher giving a congregation a stern finger wagging about sin. He wrote this on a whiteboard:

and, with his eyebrows raised in that way eyebrows get when the person wearing them thinks they know better, said simply that the solution to sin was to stop doing it.  Just stop!  Stop!  Yet I had sins I did not know how to stop, and they were crushing me. I wanted to stop them! But I kept returning to them and couldn't help it. I felt enough shame over it. The preacher's words only shamed me more.

What I – and, I wager, that preacher – didn't realize is that when Jesus cried "it is finished" from the cross, the whole mechanism of purity changed, and everybody benefits from it. Jesus has permanently purified us. If you've put on Jesus, no matter what you do God sees you as squeaky clean as a white dish washed in Ajax.

Yet we still sin, and sin is what makes us impure in the first place. Romans chapter 6 makes plain that the purity Jesus gave us doesn't give us license to sin. We're to work at getting rid of the sin in our lives.

But what about that sin we can't get rid of no matter how hard we try?

One powerful way to look at sin is that it is the damaging behaviors, reactions, and attitudes that come from us trying to fill with things other than God our unmet need to have God near us. I wager that the sins we can't stop have, at their root, a core and maybe unconscious belief that our needs will not be met. So we keep trying to meet them ourselves. Usually, the ways we try to meet these needs aren't effective for long. Sometimes they end up hurting us.

The more we learn to depend on God, the more he will meet our needs. This is hard to accept if you believe deep down that nobody will meet your needs so you'd better do it. If you're like I was, you worry considerably about what you're doing and have tried hard, perhaps desperately, to stop. So I encourage you to do something that seems counterintuitive:

Take the energy you put into stopping your sin and, instead, put it into drawing near to God.

Yes, this means your sin will continue. That's okay for now. It's not that your actions are unimportant – it's that depending on God is so much more important.

This is a winding journey on a bumpy road, to be sure, and I can't draw you a map. But the farther you go on this journey, the more God will meet your needs. One day you will start feeling his presence and seeing him working in your life. You will begin to trust him. As your trust grows, your sin will diminish. In time, it will vanish.

There is a lot of scripture twisting and false prophecy which sadly I do not have time to go into here in detail. If anyone else has time, please be my guest! I already mentioned some of the concerns in the previous Randy DeMain article.

"The angel stated that his name is "Breakthrough" and he has been assigned to the United States. That is what was articulated to Bob Jones in one of the most significant visitations he has ever received.

Over the past 12 years I have watched the revelatory realm open to Bob in profound ways. It was quite astounding for him to tell me that he has recently had the second most powerful visitation of his life. The only one higher came directly from the Lord Jesus Himself.

On Friday, March 24th,  as Bob was preparing for prayer, he immediately went into an Acts 10:10 type of trance. Bob's highest revelations come in this way. As the visitation commenced, Bob saw what appeared to be 12 ordinary "men" approaching him. Although they had the appearance of men he knew they were angels. The one in front seemed to be the most prominent and served as spokesman for the group.

He said, "My name is 'Breakthrough' and I have now been assigned to the United States." For approximately 30 minutes the angel shared with Bob historical accounts of past revivals that transpired to God's glory that he was involved in. His job is to release breakthrough and awakening to initiate a wave of harvest by extracting all obstacles to God's plans while the other angels gather the harvest.

Most prominently, he shared his involvement in the life of Benson Idahosa. The angel specifically articulated that he has now been assigned to the United States from Nigeria. He had previously been intimately involved in the ministry of this great man of God throughout Nigeria and other African nations.

Without Bob knowing the natural history beforehand, the angel shared with him great revivals that brought many souls into God's Kingdom that he was responsible for. The angel specifically stated that he has been in the United States for approximately two years laying the groundwork for the next revival.  A revival, he said, that present stadiums are not adequate to hold once it is fully manifested.

This revelation is particularly significant for me as it directly relates to a word that we have been sharing throughout the body of Christ since October 2003.

Angels That Gather

In the fall of 2003, Wanda and I had been invited to participate in a dedication service with our friends at Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Albany, OR [end times note: Denny Cline and Steve Schulz's church].  This wonderful flourishing church had expanded its facility to a 1500 seat auditorium. Many of our ministry friends had accepted the invitation to participate in its dedication. Because of a prior commitment on the East Coast during this October week, we were not able to participate in the inaugural service beginning on Thursday.

On Friday October 17, Wanda and I arrived early at the airport to make the journey across the nation to Albany to join our friends Bob Jones, Bobby Conner, Don and Christine Potter and others who already involved in the services. The entirety of that day was spent on airplanes and in airports. It was not a positive spiritual atmosphere. The events of that day certainly did not prepare me for what transpired the moment I stepped into the sanctuary on that Friday evening.

Very often we have mistaken notion that we must spend extended periods of time in prayer and fasting for the Lord to speak to us in clear and concise ways. Naturally, that is a good way to position ourselves before God's Throne to hear from Him.

Nevertheless, the Lord also chooses to speak in ways that sometimes surprises us. The hardship of simple life issues on the island of Patmos surely made John's revelations all the more meaningful.

Clearly John's revelations are some of the most profound ever entrusted to man, but the principle is the same. The Lord will often speak to us in the midst of a storm, while in a great trial or even after a long day of airline travel.

A Shocking Revelation

Because of the length of time it required for us to make the trip, the service had already begun by the time we arrived. Don Potter was leading worship and the people were fully engaged in the service.

As our as escort opened the side door leading to the sanctuary I placed my first step into the new auditorium. Instantly, with that first step, I was seeing both the natural and spiritual realms at the same time. Although my natural eyes were still seeing the people as they worshiped, my spiritual eyes were open to see the Spirit's realm. I clearly saw, with open eyes, angels standing from one corner of the building across the back to the other corner.

Each angel appeared to be about six to seven feet tall. They were standing approximately six feet apart and they each wore a white robe that reached to their feet. They were each watching the podium as Don Potter was leading worship. Some had golden belts that seemed to be made of a rope-like material and others had golden sashes of the exact same color that draped across their chest.

Their countenance was compassionate and caring. Some from heaven's host are fierce and overwhelming in appearance, but these seemed tender and loving. I initially struggled to find the right words to depict their demeanor.

End-Time Provision

My first question was, "who are they." The answer came immediately and emphatically. The Spirit said, they are angels that gather." To my knowledge, I had never before heard that expression. Angels that gather was a fresh revelation to me.

As I took the seat next to the pastor I advised him that there were angels standing across the back of his Church. He asked what kind of angels and I firmly and authoritatively stated, They are angels that gather, although that phrase was made known to me only moments before.

I needed a scripture to confirm my statement to the pastor. I fortunately was able to discover the biblical affirmation of this reality in Matthew 13.

Matthew 13:37-43 directly affects the latter day generation and outlines our provision for the end-time confrontation. Jesus said so in this passage. It is a clear outline of the spiritual conflict that will exist in the days immediately preceding His return.

In Matthew 13 the Lord gives the following interpretation involving the latter-day generation saying,
And He said, "The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man, and the field is the world; and as for the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one; and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. "So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age.

"The Son of Man will send forth His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all stumbling blocks, and those who commit lawlessness, and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. "Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. Matthew 13:37-43

The Bible plainly articulates that the field in which the Lord has sown good seed is the world. The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The seed that He imparts are the children of the Kingdom. The Lord Jesus Himself clearly states that there are a host of angels designated for the end-time generation who will work collectively with God's people in the labor of the last-day harvest.

Angels that gather will not only collect the wheat into the barn but also extract stumbling blocks that interfere with the flourishing of God's Kingdom. This is the spiritual provision Bob was seeing in his experience. The main angel provided breakthrough while the others gathered the harvest.

Bob's Vision Continued

The angel called "Breakthrough" continued to speak with Bob about God's end-time strategy. He shared how Benson Idahosa was often commissioned into a nation or region with God's mandate. No matter what the opposition was, all obstacles were removed through "Breakthrough" so that a harvest of souls could be achieved. That is the model for these coming days and our promised harvest.

The angel then told Bob that everything he was observing in this vision was a prophecy. He then asked, "What do you see." Bob replied that their appearance seemed so ordinary. The angel's response was "precisely." "We are going to work with ordinary people who have fully yielded their spirit, soul and body to the Lord," he said.

Those used most prominently in this installment of God's plan will not boast in their wisdom or might, but in knowing the Lord intimately. Jeremiah 9:23-24 speaks of this attribute saying,

Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the LORD.

It is the Lord's intent during this season to fully mobilize the Body of Christ into its function as God's intermediary on the Earth. The foremost responsibility of the five-fold ministry is to equip God's people to do the work of the ministry. Even the feeblest among us should be as noble and victorious as the great worshiping-warrior, King David. (Zechariah 12:8]

Move, Move, Move

Breakthrough then shouted, "move, move, move!" From this Bob knew that there would be at least three major expressions of this spiritual dynamic soon to take place. It also articulated our directive to move in faith on the earth in order to cooperate in the Spirit with this Heavenly host. This is an end-time strategy that is to be employed now.

The predominant Scripture to be utilized in this commissioning is Matthew 10:7-8 declaring,

And as you go, preach, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.

This will be a season of harvest; a harvest of souls and a harvest of promises. Even so, it will come not by the mere articulation of words but also with power. That is the pattern of the early Church and the one we see demonstrated in the life and ministry of Benson Idahosa.

In Exodus 23 God promised to send an Angel before Israel to overcome every enemy and establish them in the land of promise. Their obedience to the Word assured their victory and released the Lord to remove sickness from their midst. In like fashion, a wave of healing will accompany this season of grace we are now entering.

Knowing the Timing

The presence of these angels will be very similar to the spiritual sign given to King David in his battle with the Philistines in 2 Samuel 5. When David inquired of the Lord for divine strategy and precise timing, the Lord released breakthroughto route all opposition to grant a complete victory! The scripture emphasizes that,

David came to Baal-perazim, and defeated them there; and he said, "The LORD has broken through my enemies before me like the breakthrough of waters." Therefore he named that place Baal-perazim. (The master of breakthrough)

Victory is achieved in the spirit realm first, and then manifested in the natural realm. In the continuation of this prophetic scenario, the Bible tells us David knew to move against his enemies when he discerned wind blowing among the balsam trees.

Following that example, we will learn in this day to co-operate with the Lord's timing when we discern God's winds, His angels, moving on our behalf. There will be cooperation between heaven and earth in this powerful dynamic. (Hebrews 1:7)

Finally, when the angel asked again what Bob saw, the only other dynamic in the vision that Bob could perceive seemed to be the angel's friendly demeanor. That in itself is also a prophecy. The end-time church will learn to cooperate fully with the spiritual host assigned to us as friends learn to cohesively work in unison with their closest friends.

It is our responsibility to meticulously follow the Holy Spirit's leadership to fully activate every spiritual dynamic and resource allotted to us. We release on the earth what we discern in the Spirit.

Judah's Twins

One final Scripture reference the angel gave to Bob in his visitation came from Genesis 38:27-30. In this passage we discover the birthing of Judah's twins. The messenger emphasized the prophetic significance of the names given to these infants as a parabolic picture.

Perez= Breach ; Zarach=dawning/rising

If we are to qualify to be utilized in this spiritual move we must possess boldness and determination. It would be a breach for us to put our hand to this task and then draw it back. According to Hebrew 10:37-39,

For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, my soul has no pleasure in him. But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

We cannot be among those who drawback because of opposition or fear, but rather among those who press forward to see breakthrough achieved.

A Confirming Visitation

As a final confirmation to this revelation, the Lord also visited with a friend of ours while in Nigeria in 2004 with the same revelation. At the time that I wrote our March 2004 newsletter outlining the vision of the "angels that gather", our friend, Pastor Randy Demain had accepted an invitation to participate in a missionary trip to Nigeria.

While in an open air meeting, Randy watched as the Holy Spirit accomplished virtually every manifestation we read about in the book of Acts. Mighty miracles, signs and wonders were taking place in this meeting. Many souls came into God's Kingdom through that demonstration of His Spirit.

That evening when Randy returned to his room he could not sleep because of excitement and decided to simply worship the Lord. As he did, he heard an audible voice ask, "I have a gift for you will you receive it?"

Much to his surprise it was the Lord asking if he would be willing to accept a spiritual gift. When he responded with an affirmation, Randy perceived with his open eyes the angel that the Lord desired to assign to him. His name was "breakthrough revival."

The Lord went on to explain to Randy that this angel had been assigned to Benson Idahosa until his death in 1998. The Lord shared how Breakthrough removes all obstacles and stumbling blocks so that God's people can pray to the Lord of the Harvest and reap a bountiful gathering of souls.

This was explained to Randy in the visitation before he returned home and actually read our newsletter outlining this exact end-time strategy. For the past two years Randy and I have been sharing this revelation laying the groundwork for a wave of harvest. We believe this will be a harvest of harvesters.

Embracing our Opportunity

We have arrived at a "fullness of time" juncture of church history. God's end-time plan is being sent in motion. Naturally, this is not the only thing that He is doing but it is certainly a vital part.

Our role is to continue to pursue the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ Jesus and become men and women of prayer. This empowers the spiritual host to battle on our behalf in the spiritual realm to achieve notable victories to the Lord's glory.

There is a spiritual principle that states where evil abounds, grace does much more abound. Clearly our nation is in trouble. Nevertheless, the Lord is extending an incredible opportunity for His great-grace. We must embrace every divine opportunity and employ these incredible gifts being delegated to us at this crucial moment."

Randy DeMain:

"All of a sudden I realised there was a presense of God that I had never experienced before upon my life. And in that moment of time, I heard a voice say this: 'I have a gift for you, will you recieve it?' And it stunned me. And I looked up and it was like a veil between the natural and the supernatural opened, just an opening of the veil.

[Endtimes note: the veil has already been ripped completely in two through Christ's death on the cross, and heaven has already been opened for us - so if there is another extra veil or opening or gateway to heaven, or indeed anything that denies the all suffiency of Christ's finished work, however subtlely, however apparently on the surface done in the name of "Jesus", it is an antichrist veil and an antichrist opening - very similar to the theology behind the new apostle-prophets' talk on portals (see here for article) ]

"And when this opened, the light became very bright, and as I looked up the living Lord Jesus himself walked through that veil and stood before me just a couple of feet in front of me and began to speak to me. He said, 'An angel has come to me and asked to be assigned to you. His name is 'Breakthrough Revival'
