Your depression is a self-defense of your organism and your psyche against the mistakes you make

Your depression is a self-defense of your organism and your psyche against the mistakes you make, following the absurd suggestions of the wild side of your conscience or the absurd tendencies of the under-developed human side of your conscience. In any case you have two enemies, pushing you towards craziness, since even the human side of your conscience is absurd.

There is too much craziness accumulated in the anti-conscience, the wild part of your conscience, and this is why it is schizophrenic.

The human part of your conscience was only partially developed. You have to help your brain reach a stage of total development that will increase your intelligence, if you want to use all its potential.

Translating your dreams according to the scientific method, you can prevent depression, craziness and suicidal tendencies before losing your mental health, and completely develop your personality, becoming a real genius.

Craziness prevention is depression and suicide prevention as well, since craziness is responsible for the existence of depression and all mental illnesses. The craziness accumulated in the wild side of the human brain and psyche is responsible for the appearance of all mental illnesses in the human being.

Therefore, craziness prevention is in fact more than indispensable for everyone, especially for depressed people, for people that belong to introverted psychological types and for people ready to commit suicide.

Depression is a self protection of your organism and your psyche, because you may insist on making mistakes, but you have to be stopped somehow.

Depression is a warning that doesn’t let you continue making the same mistakes and insisting on finding happiness this way.

If you live with the wrong person, work in the wrong job and live in the wrong place, you cannot be happy, even taking anti-depressants daily…

Yesterday I wrote an article about the case of a young man that has a girlfriend without loving her, only because she loves him and he decided to “try her out”.

He was terrified with a nightmare he saw, where he was violently attacking a person that “he should love”.

In other words, he was exploding and hitting the girlfriend that doesn’t let him find the right person for him. This nightmare was a warning and a prevision.

You cannot make absurd decisions and expect to live “normally”, without being depressed like the dreamer of our example, who already has neurotic behavior.

Your depression will make you pay attention to all the mistakes you are making, exactly because you live influenced by your anti-conscience, that pushes you towards craziness all the time and that obliges you to decide living with the wrong person, doing work that you dislike, and live in a place where you feel lost, so that you may easily become completely crazy with all the deceptions of your life.

You may believe that your decisions are really the result of your own thoughts and preferences, however, you have an enemy inside you influencing your behavior and suggesting wrong decisions to you without letting you think seriously about anything.

You have to get rid of this enemy, before it completely destroys the human side of your brain and psyche through craziness.

You have also another enemy: your own under-developed, ignorant and selfish human conscience, that has to learn too much until it may be able to help you in life, instead of provoking you so many problems.

If you don’t pay attention to the warning given by your depression, you may simply accept the crazy behavior imposed by the anti-conscience, without criticizing it in order to verify its absurdity, or the behavior imposed by your psychological type, which is also totally absurd.

If you are not depressed yet, care about the meaning of your dreams without delay, so that you may easily prevent depression, craziness and suicidal tendencies now that you can.

Depending on the seriousness of your psychical problem, you may delay too much to recuperate your mental health or you may lose it for good.

Don’t let things arrive at this point!

Be prudent and prevent the worst, especially now that you have learned how dangerous, violent and evil the absurd content accumulated in the wild part of your brain and psyche is and how absurd the human side of your conscience is too, even though you believe that the known part of your human conscience is balanced and “normal”.

I’m gonna give it to you straight. Call it whatever you want-financial planning, Life Insuranc

I'm gonna give it to you straight. Call it whatever you want-financial planning, Life Insurance or Meeting your financial and retirement needs. Some of you know how Life Insurance works and some of you don't.

Okay now for a crash course in this subject. The main purpose and foundation for Life Insurance is off course protection. When a person is insured, he/she pays a premium that in the event of Death/Total Permanent disability (TPD) of the Assured, the Insurance company will pay the agreed amount to the Family of the Assured. Off course this is oversimplified. There are many plans in an insurance Company and each plans have different sets of criterias, conditions and terms.

Now there are 2 major type of plans: Life and Endownment

Life plans are geared towards protection. It also has a savings element. Premiums are paid for a set number of years(e.g. 20 years) but coverage of the policy will be lifetime, that is till as old as the person gets. In the event of TPD and death, the money will be paid out. There is no maturity period, the money will continue to grow until it is fully paid out in the event of Death/TPD. The assured has the option to withdraw the money but the sum paid out will not be as great. For this type of policy it is much better to leave it untouch and reserve the money for your loved ones.

Endownment plans are geared towards savings. It also has a protection element. The insured is covered against Death and TPD as well but only until the policy matures. This leaves the person unprotected once the policy has stopped. The main point about endownment is the pay-off, how much money you need by a set number of years.

Insurance plans are really important, especially in the society we're living in nowadays. Some people cannot purchase it due to financial reasons which i understand very well. However it is because of tight financial situations that we need it all the more. There are off course some who choose not to buy because of religious reasons which i find a bit ridiculous.

If you need help at looking and comparing plans or just plain curious, please e-mail me: zac_lim_1@yahoo.com

Also if you want me to plan some policies for you, i'm happy to do it. And i'm NOT getting paid! Seriously! Free Advice, Free Tips, Free Comparison. (Limited to Brunei, Malaysia and Singapore)

Unfortunately, being on the net comes with a price tag - “you have been hacked”. Well, I

Unfortunately, being on the net comes with a price tag - "you have been hacked". Well, I spoke with a foreign acquaintance of mine: and asked him to educate my readers on what Hacking is all about. To prevent yourself from hackers, you have to know the mind and the body (read tools ) of the hackers:

Below are some lessons: from Indo-Russian:This is also a message and a signal to those who think their IQ is higher than most : )

The Windows Registry Editor is the tool that enables you to make changes to your system registry, which stores information about how the hardware and software on your computer runs. Generally, you will not and should not edit your system registry unless it is absolutely necessary. Most changes are made to the registry without your knowing they are happening. For example, installing a new application or adding a new printer to your system will update the registry. If there is an error in your registry, your computer may become unstable or nonfunctional. With a good backup, you can restore the registry to its state before any changes were made.

To access the system registry, click Start > Run, type Regedit and press the Enter key. This will open the Registry Editor.

Inside the Registry Editor – There are 5 Keys on the left side of the screen

Hkey_Classes_Root - This key displays information about OLE and associated mappings to support drag-and-drop operations.

Hkey_Current_User - This points to a branch of Hkey_Users for the currently logged on user.

Hkey_Local_Machine - This contains computer specific information including installed hardware and software. This is the one I tend to spend the most time in.

Hkey_Users - This contains information about users that have logged on to the computer

Hkey_Current_Config - This key points to a branch of Hkey_Local_Machine \ Config and has information such as display fonts and printers.

TIPS- All these tricks listed below are for Windows 95 many of them work with XP also, but make sure of one thing….before changing, deleting or creating any value…or to be on a safer side before TOUCHING the registry make sure that you have taken a back up (Go to File > Export for back up) of the registry. One wrong step can crash your system.

CAUTION: The backup that will be created will be a .REG file and is executable. Therefore double-clicking it will replace your current registry with the registry contained in the .REG file. This can be extremely dangerous. Be certain this is what you really want to do.

- Changing the Location of Special Folders

You can modify the registry to change the location of special folders like:

My Documents

Favorites

My Pictures

Personal

Start Regedit

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders

Double click on any locations you want to change and alter the path

Logoff or restart for the changes to go into effect

Eliminating the Right Click on the Taskbar

To eliminate the right click on the taskbar:

Start Regedit

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer

Add a DWORD and give it a name of NoTrayContextMenu

Give it a value of 1

Reboot

Add a DWORD and give it a name of NoViewContextMenu

Give it a value of 1

Reboot

These are only three tricks…..there are many more available on net…..the idea here is not to teach you how to disable right click or how to change the color, fonts, looks, etc…..The basic reason why we post this chapter is to teach that if registry is the place where all the information is stored then why cant we brake passwords from here???

E.g. I install a software on my system to guard some folders which contain material which I want to hide. In order to access the folder I have to input a password, and if it is right only then I can see the content of the folder.

From this example it is clear that the password is stored somewhere in the system from where the software compares the value which I enter in the password field.

For this example as well as for every other software which asks for password to access the system features including the windows login password, all these values are stored in windows registry. Whenever the user enters a password, it is compared with the value stored in the system registry, and if it is found correct only then the user is allowed to access the feature.

In Windows registry we can search for specific items, keys, values or software’s using the search function in edit menu. But there is one problem the password is not stored in its original form, it is converted to some other format so that no one can recognize it. E.g.; If I set the password as “hacking” it is stored as “6167453291” or may be some other form depending upon the software.

In such cases what we can do is reset the password i.e. delete the value (whatever it is). Once the value is deleted there is no password and our purpose is solved.

I want us to pause for a bit and consider a few other arguments for abortion. Judith Jarvis Thompso

I want us to pause for a bit and consider a few other arguments for abortion. Judith Jarvis Thompson (and others) have put forward reasons for accepting abortion. We should listen to the best arguments and think about them because there are people who think they are doing good by supporting abortion rights for women. So, let’s have a conversation with a few of the better arguments for abortion.

First, some would say that the child (fetus, conceptus) in the womb is not a human life. Rather, they would say that it is a potential human life. Just as an acorn is not exactly an oak tree; so, the fetus is not a human baby. They would argue that it has the potential to become a tree, but it does not yet possess “tree-ness.” In the same way, the fetus does not yet possess humanness, even though it has the potential to become a human being. So, they would conclude that aborting the fetus is not killing a human being; rather, it is terminating a process which had the potential to produce a human being.

In response to this first argument, let us say we must compare apples to apples, or, in this case, acorns to acorns. The analogy does not hold between an acorn and a fetus for the simple reason that the acorn is not germinated, and the fetus is already fertilized and already in the growth process of what it is meant to become. If one were to compare an acorn to a fetus, then he would need to make the comparison between the fetus with a tender, young shoot of the acorn as it has germinated in the ground and broken through the surface of the earth. Even a sapling is not yet a tree, but we do not doubt the “tree-ness” of the sapling. If one were to pull the sapling out of the ground, we would understand that he just killed the tree, wouldn’t we?

Even more clearly, the point can be made by looking to our environmental and animal protection laws (even as crazy as some of them can be). Father Tad Pacholczyk, in an article titled “Imposing Our Beliefs on Others,” points out that our federal laws protect the eggs of eagles, yet allow for destroying the human child in development. We have seen bumper stickers like, “Save the baby whales, but kill the baby humans.” Something appears to be amiss in a culture which protects plants and animals in development but not human beings. We may wish to agree that saplings and eaglets have value and deserve a measure of protection, but wouldn’t we also want to agree that human beings have value, too?

Blogs are now an extremely popular and important part of the internet. Millions of people blog every

Blogs are now an extremely popular and important part of the internet. Millions of people blog every day. As blogs have evolved over the years, so has the commenting system. Now anyone can make comments on a particular blog posting. As blog commenting has grown more popular, so has spam commenting. In this newsletter, we’ll go over why comments are a great form of feedback for your blog, how they help the credibility of your content, what spam comments are and how to prevent them from happening.

Comments – A great form of feedback

When blogs first came around, they were simply online journals. No one could post comments on a blog posting. That all changed in 1998 with OpenDiary, a site which allowed people to comment on blog postings. Now every blog, whether it is remotely or self-hosted, includes this option to comment.

Commenting is great because it allows real people to tell you what they think about your form. It gives you feedback on what you are doing right and what you may need to improve. Comments can be encouraging to you and motivate you to post more quality blog messages. Or they can be constructive criticism to make you work harder to get better at writing content.

Whatever the style of comment is, it is still very useful to your blog. High numbers of comments have the ability to make a blog look credible because they show that the blog is being read by a lot of people. That’s something that every blog owner wants, and comments help to let them know just how many people enjoy their content.

Bad comments

Unfortunately, spammers have now started to use comments as a way to spam. How do you know what a spam comment is? Well, a spam comment is a comment that only advertises another site or product. If the comment seems bland/generic with a cheap link thrown in, then it’s definitely a spam comment.

Here is an example of a typical spam comment:

“Hey, this site is really cool. Check out my really cool site at spamsite.com.”

Of course not all spam comments will be this blatant, but you get the point.

Fortunately for bloggers, as spam comments have grown, so has the ways to prevent it. Here are a couple ways that you can prevent spam comments from even being posted on your blog.

#1: Close off commenting on older blog posts

There are options for you to stop comments from being posted on any particular blog post. Lots of times, spammers will post comments in weeks or months old posts. So take away this opportunity from them to keep it from happening. Most blog hosters now offer this as a standard option in the tool panel. If one of your posts has been up for a couple weeks, close it up.

#2: Take advantage of software offered to prevent comment spam

If you host your own blog using WordPress, you can use an option in that software to prevent spam. Even if you aren’t using WordPress, you can still use other Spam comment blocking software like Spam Karma, Akismet, and Bad Behavior. While these aren’t 100% effective, they have proven to be quite effective in preventing spam from happening.

#3: Take a look at your settings and see what can be tweaked to toughen your protection

Lots of blogs now have settings to help prevent spam. If you already have a spam blocker on in your blog and are still experiencing spam, take a closer look at the settings to see if there’s anything that can be tweaked to make your protection stronger. However, if you do this, you should closely monitor your posts to make sure legit comments aren’t being blocked out. If they are, you might have to lighten up a bit.

#4: Regularly read your blog comments

Be sure to keep an eye on your comments. Even the best software or setting can’t prevent everything, so you will have to occasionally manually remove comments on your own.

By applying the above principles, you can ensure that your blog is full of only good, quality comments, which will help your credibility tremendously.

Comments are a great form of communication between yourself and your readers. They help the credibility of your blog!

How easy is it to get your hands on millions of private data? Hello? McFly? Have you heard of this Interweb? Personal details of 6 million Germans for 850 euros. That was enough to prod German lawmakers into action. So what's on tap? A complete overhaul to data protection and privacy rules. Officials want to make it illegal to pass private data of individuals around without their express consent. This was all brought to the attention of the German government by 36 yr old, Detlef Tiegel, who claimed to have the banking details of over a million people and proved it, presenting them with a CD with all the information. He said the information was obtained from the lottery corporation that he worked for. (What kind of lottery is this exactly?) We'll have to wait and see whether the changes have any impact in phishing activity or not, but in the meantime, I won't be entering my banking details on any German lottery sites ... for now.

So, I wasn’t the only one thinking of putting out helpful, practical guides for speaking about abo

So, I wasn’t the only one thinking of putting out helpful, practical guides for speaking about abortion. Turns out, the guys over at “Between Two Worlds” are doing the same thing. They have published an article by D. A. Carson on practical strategies for discussing abortion. If you want a truly brilliant man’s advice on speaking about abortion, check out Carson.

Modestly, I still recommend reading the articles here simply because they are intended to serve a different function. These articles will give you the real components of meaningful conversation, as suggested by Carson. In this post, we will examine the claim that abortion should be the mother’s choice because it concerns her body.

There are a couple of quick responses which challenge the notion that a woman is free to have an abortion because the baby is a part of her body. First, is the woman (or a man) free to do whatever she wishes with her body? We once had laws against suicide. We have laws against prostitution. We have laws restricting nakedness. It isn’t completely clear that women are free to do whatever they wish with their own bodies.

But, more to the point, is a baby really a part of the woman’s body? The evidence says a baby is not part of the mother’s body; rather, the baby is a human entity in its own right. For instance, from the time of conception, the baby has its own, unique genetic code. As the baby develops in the womb, he develops his own two eyes, his own two arms, his own two legs, his own heart, his own lungs, his own brains, his own sexual reproductive organs. Does the mother claim to be both male and female? Does the mother claim to have four legs, two brains, four nostrils, and twenty fingers?

Finally, scientists have demonstrated the unique nature of conception by fertilizing a white baby in a Petri dish and implanting the conceptus into a black mother. When the baby is born, she is white, not black like the birth mother. So, while it is true that the baby is attached to a mother’s body, it does not appear to be true that the baby is part of the mother’s body. The baby is attached in the same sense a nursing child attaches to the mother in order to get nutrition; it is not attached in the sense a wart might be attached to her elbow.

So, the question really is not a question concerning what the mother should do with her body, but, rather, what the mother ought to do with her child’s body. We ought to pass laws which protect children in cases where a parent wishes to do harm.

Nano Cyclic cleanser is a translucent round of soap. To be more accurate it’s a highly concentrated cream in the form of a bar. The ingredients are; Nano Silver, or colloidal silver in extremely small particles, Collagen, Silica, Chitosan, derived from the shells of shrimp and othe crustaceans, Sericin, a water-soluble protective gum which coats silk, Aloe, and Vitamins A, E, and D.

Silver compounds have long been used in medicine. Colloidal silver itself has a long history as an antibiotic before the discovery of other drugs like penicillin. Ingestion and inhalation of too much colloidal silver is linked to a condition called Argyria, one of the symptoms of which is a blue-ish discoloration of the skin. It’s important to note though that I couldn’t find any record of this condition being linked to topical application such as is found in Nano Cyclic soap, and Cyclic maintains that their product is completely safe and is not absorbed into the bloodstream. Generally we come in contact with trace amounts of silver in our everyday life, so short of ingesting large amounts of silver on a daily basis it doesn’t seem to be a major threat. In fact, colloidal silver has been approved by the FDA for use as a disinfectant in hospitals. If it can kill the bacteria in hospitals imagine what it can do for the bacteria in your pores.

Cyclic claims to help diminish age spots, improve skin texture, provide extra sun protection, eliminate body odor, reduce callous build-up, protect your skin from outside elements (also known as free radicals) and decrease the signs of skin conditions such as psoriasis and acne. To accomplish this they offer two similar formulas, pink and silver. Pink has a higher collagen content for sensitive to normal skin and age fighting effects, while Silver is preferred for oily and acne prone skin, like mine.

After two weeks use I can honestly say I have seen a difference in my skin tone. I have a much more even tone, with less blotchiness. It appears clearer and smoother, and while I still have blemishes they don’t have the glaring red coloration they used to. I’m surprised at the difference an even skin tone provides. I use less foundation and powder, and concealer can be used only on individual blemishes and those under eye circles that recently moved in. Using Nano Silver in conjunction with my usual acne spot treatments has eliminated almost all of the irritated discoloration I’ve previously seen. For me the Silver didn’t eliminate all my acne issues, but I was still pleased with the results. I didn’t feel overly dry with this product, though it did leave my skin a touch on the thirsty side. Cyclic recommends you not use a lotion or other product with this soap to prevent clogging of the pores and to let your skin adjust naturally. I did notice minor increased oiliness by the end of the day when using this without additional skincare products.

Nano Cyclic soap is applied in a unique way. After wetting your face and hands you rub the soap between your wet palms until it creates a foam. Lather the foam for a few seconds and suddenly you have a rich cream that you lightly apply to your face, no rubbing required. Leave on for 6 minutes or until you feel a tingle and rinse thoroughly. I never felt a tingle, but perhaps that’s just because I like to be difficult. Cyclic recommends leaving the product on for less time as your skin clears, while most products for acne prone skin suggest you gradually work UP to the maximum time to reduce irritation. You also need to store your soap in an airtight container after each use. This product is sensitive to temperature and moisture, so if you fail to store it properly, poof, you could lose it. Many people keep theirs in the refrigerator to extend the soap's shelf life as long as possible.

There is a definite segment of the population this product isn’t suited for. Sadly, I’m part of that segment. During the summer break I could usually wake in the morning and let the Nano Silver do its thing before showering and finishing my morning routine. But now, with 3 kids and school to juggle, I have to jump in the shower first thing and get ready as fast as I can or I risk looking like the abominable pajama monster all day. This is a product that requires time, and I just don’t have the extra minutes to spare most mornings. Also, if your skin is particularly difficult it is recommended you use 3 times a day instead of two. I challenge you to find a time in the middle of your day when you wouldn’t mind washing off your makeup and reapplying with a 6 minute break in between. I’m sure you could do it on your lunch break if you were really dedicated, but clearly I’m not, sorry.

There are 3 bar sizes to fit any budget, and if you aren’t ready to shell out the $80 for a full size bar, you could always pay only $10 for a trial size. While this isn’t a product I will be using regularly due to my inability to multi-task, I can certainly imagine that more dedicated individuals might really love Nano Cyclic cleansing soap.

OK so here is my first post in quite sometime, and here i try and explain what i have done to protect my Slackware PC and laptop.

Step one: is to configure the router that i have, seems it was leaking some services that it has (my fault though). I do not use the default firmware that came with the Linksys router i have, i use Tomato and i guess i didnt check erything as i should have, so check the settings and make sure they are as tight as you can make them, turn off any unused or un-required services and ports on the router first, as this is your first line of defense.

Step two: make sure there are no services running on the pc that you dont require, with most modern distros this can be done the admin or control panels (each distro has its own way of admining services - check the DOCS on your distro).

Step three: Last of all configure the firewall on the Linux PC itself, now as with most things all distros tend to handle this in their own way, so again you might have to check the DOCs of your distro to see how this is done. Most if not all use iptables, its just most use a gui to configure this, as its very powerful and if used incorrectly can block all traffic in and out of your pc. (as i found out when making up my script :p)

Here is the script i use, now im not going to say this is the greatest script in the world, but in combination with my router and the script itself, all web based scanners i have tried and nmap say that it cant find any services or open ports, so hopefuly im doing something right :)

#!/bin/bash
ext_if=eth0
int_if=eth1
iptables -F INPUT
iptables -P INPUT DROP
iptables -F OUTPUT
iptables -F FLUSH
iptables -A INPUT -i eth0 -m state --state ESTABLISHED,RELATED -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p udp -m state --state ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
iptables -A OUTPUT -p udp -m state --state NEW,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m state --state ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp -m state --state NEW,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -i lo -j ACCEPT
accept_port="21 80 443 2010 6300:6320"
names="some.dns.name1 some.dns.name2"
iptables -A INPUT -i $ext_if -j DROP
iptables -A INPUT -i $int_if -s 164.168.1.1/24 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -i $ext_if -s 192.168.1.1/24 -j ACCEPT
for ip in $names
do
for port in $accept_ports
do
iptables -A INPUT -i $ext_if -s $ip --dport $ip --syn -m state --state NEW -j ACCEPT
done
done

OK so I'm not going to go through the above step by step as I'm not overly clear on it myself, yes i will admit i had help with the above, and i googled a lot, so it was pure luck really that it works :)

You will find explanations of what each function above does here i hope this helps you in some way :)

The plan was to search the word "convention" on the Minneapolis (Twin Cities) M 4 M Criagslist thread. For those of you with your heads up your butts or other locations not accessible to news, the Republican National Convention is being held there this week.

WOW. What turned up is so nasty and vile (especially the photos) that we honestly won't repeat it but . . . we will lead you right to it.

I feel like a barker at the circus, "Come one, come all see the amazing closeted gay Republicans as they post ads on Craigslist exposing their genitals, asking for discreet sex, and generally doing vile and disgusting things during their convention to promote family values. Yes, you'll see them flaunt their sex pistols, look for orgies, and admit that they are married. It's a show like no other on Earth!"

http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/search/m4m?query=convention&minAsk=min&maxAsk=max

PS - if your husband or boyfriend is at the Republican National Convention, you might want to consider using condoms from here on out.

Oh - think I'll run back and check out the girls at W 4 W. Are female Republicans into secret sex stuff? We'll see.

*Update: the only thing I found was a boring ad looking for a blind date for a lonely friend. Republican lesbians are so sweet.

Maybe I should have checked the abuse shelters?

Symantec Norton Antibot The Latest In Norton Computer Protection Software

It seems like every other month a new “program” comes along to make our lives that much easier.

It seems like every other month a new “program” comes along to make our lives that much easier. For example, first we could bookmark favorites, and then RSS feed them, and then came widgets and now “bots” which are robots that do a lot of our computer work for us in the background. Examples of friendly bots are weather bots, game playing bots, instant messaging and my favorites are those on AOL Instant Messenger which do all kinds of functions for me like shop, find movie times and even give updates on the Wall Street Journal.

Unfortunately not all bots were created “equal.” Some are friendly and some are not. The ones that are not friendly can be a form of malware that allows control of your computer to be released, providing hackers with the opportunity to access your information and spread harmful bots to others. This type of computer virus can then be used to spread spam and commit various types of identity theft and other online fraud.

So with new threats to our computers and information, new methods of protection are required. One of the oldest and most well known software protection designers has recently released a new protection program, Symantec Norton AntiBot. This is a software product designed to prevent the hijacking of one’s personal computer by bots and uses the bots on design programs against them, to located and destroy them.

Many people already employ some form of protection on their personal computer, such as increasing the protection level from internet information to “high.” But these cannot detect some of the most recent bot programs and may not be the most efficient means of information protection, especially with the Internet being used more and more frequently for online shopping, ticket purchases, travel and other “high risk” activities.

A more effective method of detecting and eliminating threats caused by bots is to install software designed specifically to detect, destroy and prevent bots from having access to your computer. With Symantec Norton AntiBot software, protection against bots is enhanced several times and the threat of bot attack is greatly diminished. It’s program protects against bots by blocking bots from entering your computer through downloads and e-mail attachments (two of the common ways bots enter a personal computer), checking for any unusual behavior on your personal computer and eliminating it, and detecting malicious bot software at all levels; keeping your personal, financial and credit card information safe and stopping identify theft before it can occur.

Because bots operate in the background and are not detectable by antivirus or antispyware programs, many computer users are completely unaware that their personal computer has become infected. Many problems caused by bots go undetected until it is too late. Warning signs that your computer may have been accessed include: slowness of computer speed and unusual or irrelevant error messages. However, many times com these symptoms are sporadic and computer users will take little notice. Many people will continue to use their personal computer, unaware that bots have hijacked their personal computer and are slowly at work; looking for credit card numbers, passwords, and logon information which can be used for identity theft and in committing other types of online crime. This program scans your personal computer on a continuous basis, closing the gaps that could allow bots to infect your personal computer and better ensuring that bots do not invade and gain control.

The use of Symantec Norton AntiBot to determine what a harmful or useful bot and allows you to continue using those bots you love and have come to depend on for information and services. It can be used in addition to several other antivirus and antispyware programs. Its compatibility is not limited to only Norton products.

The cost of this software is $29.95 for one year of service. It was awarded PC Magazine’s Editor’s Choice Award (2007) and underwent rigorous testing which included using AntiBot on computers with existing threats as well as allowing threats to try to access the computer after installation.

With the growing threat of identity theft and credit card fraud Symantec Norton AntiBot offers an additional level of protection needed to combat the threat of bots and prevent them from turning one’s personal computer into a robotic that turns into an instrument of destruction to both your personal and financial well-being.
