It's time, festival season is here. You feel the energy start to hit you like a mac truck as you approach your destination. Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom. Global Gathering 2008. You can feel the bass from a mile away just thumping in the air. You don't remember everybody you've met on the way here but you know you're in for one hell of a ride. There's no experience like it, nothing in comparison. You exit the bus and make that final victory lap to the entrance. You hand your ticket and you know you've finally made it. You wanna scream as you enter the complex, just seeing the amount of people here. It's 2 o'clock in the afternoon, sun is shining and you can see the sweat dripping from peoples foreheads as you make your way to one of the bars. You grab yourself a cool drink and head for one of the tents cause Syatika is starting. You make your way through the crowds passing through people you know you're gonna be chatting randomness to later. Your heart's pumping, can't contain the energy inside you wanting to rip through your body. Melodies, beats, 60,000 people and the heat all waiting for you to explode. You enter the tent with your friends and make your way to the front near the speakers. Your shirt vibrates and your hair stands on end from the megawatts pulsating through the speakers. You close your eyes as the beats swirl around you like a vortex taking you higher, higher, and higher until you can't control it anymore. The beast rips out from inside of you clawing its way to the surface. You throw your hands in the air, screaming and jumping uncontrollably as your body grooves to the rhythm. ........................

Born and raised in The Hague at the west coast of the Netherlands, Robin got his first interest in music at the age of 12 when he started to learn electronic instruments.
After a few years, at the age of 18 he became interested in house music when he heard it being played at the local radio station in The Hague.

While out clubbing late one night in The Hague, Robin heard a talented DJ by the name of DJ Remy. Fuelling his interest in this very special sound, soon he started buying vinyl and learns the mixing techniques. In a short time he had gigs at some local school parties.

Although getting an excellent feel for the music, Robin still felt empty. After watched a live performance of the duo Pako and Frederik, Robin decided he want to perform his own music on stage too. Around 1998 he decided that he would take a different approach to things, bought his first set of production equipment, and began to produce his own music.
Two years later he had his debut release as Fitalic (maybe you’ll remember it: “Daytripper / Unbalanced”). The Hague could now add another name to its list of producers along with the likes of international greats such as, Sander Kleinenberg, DJ Remy, Pako & Frederik, and Roland Klinkenberg.

Influenced by these same great artists (and others) Robin has now had eighteen 12” releases, including releases on Bedrock (UK) and Vapour (AU). His tracks have been played by the likes of John Digweed, Paul van Dijk, Kasey Taylor, Chris Fortier, DJ Remy, Sander Kleinenberg and Danny Howells. Just to name a few.

In the summer of 2002 Robin Fitter began to perform as a DJ and live-performance, with his close friend Andres Bink. Following the major name and success of his tracks, Fitalic could be seen performing across the globe, along side of the best in the biz. Adding to an already large amount of events and experience. Fitalic played with DJ’s like Thomas Penton, Seb Fontaine, Kasey Taylor, Infusion (live) DJ Remy, Pako & Frederik (live) and Fred Numf to name a few, in countries like Japan, Indonesia, Turkey, Greece, Canada, Mexico, Georgia, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
After his first artist album “Atomic Atmosphere“ in 2006 for Tribal Vision Records. Fitalic is currently working on his second artist album for Tribal Vision Records which will be release in October 2008. In the beginning of 2008 Fitalic started his own digital record label Navigate Recordings. On this label he will release his own tracks but also tracks from upcoming artists. The third release will be out in may 2008 and only available at Beatport.com and Releaserecords.com. Fitalic has easily become a much recognized and respected name in the biz.

Oli Inkognito is one half of the Dj/Producer Team s.h.e.e.p. (with Marc van Mumpitz). From 2003 to 2007 he was acting as A&R & Label Dj for the Munich based Label Hardboiled Records.

Today he is playing as a Label Dj for the well known German progressive Label Vertikal Records
( www.vertikal-records.com ). In 1997 he started djing at small parties - now he can look back on uncountable parties and festivals. Natraj Temple Partys (Munich), Klang der Essenzen, Moonchild, XYMOX, Soma Solaris, Nine Bar (Vagator), Zoo thousand and two (South Africa), Mandorla (South Africa) Darklines (Austria), Blue Butterfly (Switzerland), Zirk Partys (Amsterdam), D-Apontia Gathering (Greece), Vortex (Czech Republic) Gathering of the Tribes, Electricity Festival, Organic Atmosphere and Shuria’s World (Berlin) are just a few of them. He plays as resident Dj at GOTEC ( www.gotec-cafe.de ). His style is progressive Trance with influences from progressive House, minimal Techno and dirty Electro. He loves the alternative floors and is proven to turn a dancefloor mad with his set. The first track from s.h.e.e.p. has been released on their Hardboiled Wonderland Compilation and on Yellow Sunshine Explosion. They also made a remix from POTS – Dandy Division for Tribal Vision Records and they are working on new wired stuff together with Dr.Balser (Oli from Aerolink/Psychonaut). Psynthex is a 26th years old sagittarius, living in Portorose – Slovenia. He has started his music journey in the year 1999, when he has discovered various electronic music. He started to play and make some easy pounding beats of techno sound with a mixture of electro inputs. But soon moved his ears, hands and sound to progressive psy. Psynthex started to create his own style at that time. In 2005 some invitiations came to play at some clubs over Italy ( Trieste, Milano ) and in a few festivals over Slovenia. After his name get stronger and music came more recognisable from his side, soon more people asked him to play in their clubs, countries, festivals. From 2005 till 2007 he has visited some parties & festivals worldwide. Some of them should be mentioned: Turkey, Spain, Austria, Russia, France, Slovenia, Greece, Bulgaria, Malta, Italy. His style became really his. Many people loved his grooving symphonies, punding beats and dancable morning sound. His touch of the clean mixing and track selection makes many people happy in all time of the day. While hearing his music playing, you cant even feel the ground. Only legs and arms are moving. On the face is only smiling a recognisable part of a good music, which is playing loud and doesent even stop at all. You should try it one day. In the end of 2007, IONO music have invited him to play under their name. So on the end, every struggling became a reality. His connection with Iono-music is like a dream come true.

So, I finally wanted to try a new mix in a genre I havent done before. Looking through the large repository of electronic genres (and there are alot) I noticed one specific genre that I always enjoyed listening to when I needed an energy rush: Breakbeat. Breakbeat has its own special unique rhythm. The mixmash of beats, hi-hats, drum loops, and bass sequences offer a difference sound than Trance. After searching for the sounds I wanted, I finally concluded 12 tracks into a seamless mix for your enjoyable pleasure.

BreakBox delivers on so many levels. Whether you're a trance listener, a prog listener, or a clubber, I've got this mix appealing to everyone. The first portion of this mix is essential club/electro breakbeat stuff. Great loops, great bass, and some great vocals that can get any floor hopping. Towards the end of the mix, you'll start to hear a more trance/progressive mood as I take it down a notch and let your mind take a break. You'll definitely want to pick up this mix, its worth a listen.

Alter Breed is a Progressive House and Electro music duo from Israel, formed by talented producers Vik Shagal and Alex Krupenko. Vik and Alex had already been involved in different aspects of music production for a couple of years.

The project was established during the year 2007, after the guys decided that they should join forces on creating music together. Their discography so far has seen them producing original work and remixes for some of the hottest and most popular labels in the industry such as EchoPlast, Flow, Tribal Vision, Blue Tunes, Plusquam, and more.
