Przy czytaniu przyda się znajomość rachunku prawdopodobieństwa. W następnej notce zacznę od rozkładu równomiernego, który stanowi podstawę dla innych rozkładów - jest więc swego rodzaju "królem". Przykładowe implementacje będę podawał w języku C++, ale pojawią się również algorytmy więc przełożenie ich na inne języki nie powinno stanowić problemu (zwłaszcza, gdy ma się kod podglądowy).

Leksyk już prawie działa!

Nie było mnie tutaj ponad tydzień. Wszystko przez to, że przez ten tydzień tkwiłem w martwym punkcie, ponieważ nie działało mi pobieranie pojedyńczych wartości z bazy danych Leksyka.

Teraz jest już na szczęście wszystko w porządku, więc za jakieś 2-3 dni Leksyk pojawi się w sieci.

Przy okazji, musiałem zmienić bazę danych z MySQL na MSSQL. Strasznie ciężko było się dostać do bazy MySQLa z poziomu kodu. Jestem natomiast pewien, że to nie koniec mojej przygody z MySQLem.

PHP-Gtk - Pierwsze starcie

Może na początek kilka słów czym jest PHP-Gtk, otóż PHP-Gtk to rozszerzenie PHP pozwalające na pisanie aplikacji z użyciem biblioteki GTK służącej do tworzenia graficznego interfecu użytkownika.

Na początek przerobiłem kilka tutoriali, zapoznałem się z z grubsza z dokumentacją i zabrałem się za pisanie. Połączenie biblioteki standardowej PHP, przenośność samego PHP i GTK jak i forma aplikacji pisanych w PHP + możliwość tworzenia "okienkowych" aplikacji to z góry musiało być ekstremalne połączenie. I nie pomyliłem się... Piszę się jak najbardziej szybko i przyjemnie, a efekty widać niemalże od razu!

Jedyne na co można ponarzekać to znikoma ilość zasobów w sieci na ten temat. No ale pomocą służy tu dokumentacja PHP-Gtk (niestety jeszcze nie kompletna), jak i dokumentacja znajdująca się w GNOME Library. Pomocne również mogą okazać się portale wymienione na liście na końcu postu.

Efekty pierwszego starcia z PHP-Gtk to jak na razie napisany w jedno niedzielne popołudnie edytor tekstowy al'a MS Notepad który nawet nosi podobną nazwę.

Wczytywanie modelu 3D z pliku OBJ

Napisałem dzisiaj proste wczytywanie współrzędnych wierzchołków oraz tzw. normalnych wierzchołków z pliku OBJ. Oczywiście plik OBJ, z takimi danymi wyeksportowanymi z programów typu 3DS MAX, Blender i pokrewnych. Budowa tego pliku jest bardzo prosta:

nagłówek z info o programie, który utworzył plik i inne tego typu
współrzędne wierzchołków
współrzędne wierzchóków tekstur
współrzędne normalnych wierzchołków
powierzchnie

Interesowały mnie głównie rzewczy wymienione we wstępnie, ale kod bardzo łatwo rozszerzyć. Poniżej najprostszy kod, jaki można sobie wyobrazić w tej sytuacji. Na poczet większych projektów wygodnie byłoby to opakować w jakieś klasy/funkcje, aby korzystało się wygodniej.

Jestem niesamowicie zaskoczony z powodu zamieszczenia screenu z naszego projektu w 2 numerze Warsztatowym Magazynie Elektronicznym (WMag). Nie jest to może jakieś wielkie osiągnięcie ale dzięki temu czujemy się niezwykle wyróżnieni. Jest to dla nas szczególnie waże ponieważ przy tak dużej ilości projektów, akurat nam udalo się trafić do listy nawiększych zaskoczeń minionego miesiąca. W tym miejscu chcielibyśmy podziękować m.in. szyfrq za wparcie w trudnych momentach, Jack-owi za słowa ostrej krytyki ktora jeszcze bardzie nas zmotywowała i oczywiście wszystkim którzy życzą nam zrealizowania marzeń.

Szkoła istnieje!

Niedawno przekonałem się, że szkoła istnieje. Jakie było moje zaskoczenie, kiedy tydzień temu dowiedziałem się o testach gimnazjalnych, trudno sobie wyobrazić. (Niby trąbią wszyscy o tym od trzech lat, ale jakoś mi umknęło.) Więc chcąc nie chcąc, musiałem zacząć się uczyć. Jestem trochę niewprawiony do uczenia się bzdur, ale poświęciłem na naukę do testów dobre 6.5 godziny w ciągu trzech dni (niektórym może się to wydawać niewiele, ale mniej-więcej tyle wychodzi moja miesięczna średnia! ;) ). Opłaciło się i z obu egzaminów będę miał coś pod 93 punkty, więc raczej dostanę się do VIII LO w Poznaniu, do którego chcę iść (163pkt).

Z poważnych rzeczy (kogo interesuje "moja przyszłość"? ;) ), to jestem na wykończeniu mojego drugiego intra 4k, które tym razem powinno już każdemu działać, a które załączam na końcu. Demko jest skrajnie proste, a cały efekt uzyskałem dzięki addytywnemu blendingowi, kilku prostym mykom ze współrzędnymi tekstury oraz błędowi w kodzie, polegającym na mnożeniu macierzy w złej kolejności :)

W każdym razie, wrzucam tutaj owe intro, chociaż brakuje dźwięku - za który nie wiem jak się zabrać, pomimo ogólnej idei, którą rozumiem.

Co ciekawe, zauważyłem, że zainteresowanie demosceną jest dosyć duże. Na forum Warsztatu, w wątku dot. majowego Compo, kolega świru zaproponował Compo scenowe, ja lekko ironicznie odpisałem o 4k właśnie, ale temat nieoczekiwanie został podchwycony i być może nie zginie.

Poza tym, piszę notki coraz częściej - to dobry znak, ale mogę zapaść na syndrom pisania-o-niczym (czyżbym właśnie pisał o niczym? ;) ). Żeby tak nie było - wrzucam jak pisałem moje drugie intro oraz kilka screenów.

Ciekawostka bazy Oracle

Oracle w wersji 10.2.0.3 zaskoczył mnie wczoraj totalnie. Na początek mały quiz:

Jeśli zapytanie:
select t.* from tow t where kod in ('011094','011105');
zwraca dwa wiersze. To ile wierszy zwróci poniższe zapytanie?
select t.* from tow t where kod in ('011094','011105') and exists(select 1 from tow_v v where v.towaridpb||v.towarid = t.kod_p);

Odpowiedź jest prosta - co najwyżej dwa.

Chyba, że działamy na bazie Oracle 10.2.0.3 z włączoną optymalizacją kosztową, wówczas zapytanie to może zwrócić nawet 4 wiersze!

Jest to błąd optymalizatora kosztowego, który przepisuje sobie to zapytanie na 'równoważne'. Niestety w tym przypadku nie jest ono równoważne :(

Nowe rzeczy

Projektowanie aplikacji/biblioteki od nowa - jeśli napisało się ją już wcześniej, ma swoje ogromne zalety. Można poprawić wszelkie niedoróbki i usprawnić to co usprawnienia wymagało.

Przykładem takiego usprawnienia jest wreszcie napisany przeze mnie (jednak jeszcze nie do końca) Resource Manager. Zastosowanych kilka reguł OOP-u i już mamy całkiem fajny kawałek kodu, który jednocześnie daje się rozszerzać bez większych problemów.

Aktualnie Resource Manager składa się z dwóch części - menedżera zasobów oraz fabryki zasobów. Fabrykę można uczyć tworzenia nowych zasobów w trakcie działania programu więc programista używający AGE będzie mógł sam dodać nowy typ zasobu w zależności od potrzeb.

Obiekty tworzy się za pomocą linii tekstowych postaci:

{resource type} "{resource name}" "{resource arguments}"

Przy czym: {resource type} jest nazwą typu zasobu (np. texture, sample itp.), {resource name} jest nazwą zasobu używaną do zidentyfikowania go przez Resource Manager'a. Ostatni argument {resource arguments} jest już argumentem zależnym od typu zasobu jaki dodajemy. Przykładowo dla tekstury będzie to tylko ścieżka do obrazka.

Kolejną dobrą wiadomością jest to, że udało mi się zmusić AGE do odtwarzania utworów. Tutaj mamy dwie możliwości:

odtwarzanie sampli (w kółko lub pojedyńczo)

odtwarzanie całych utworów

O ile odtwarzanie sampli jest raczej prostą sprawą - załadować, włączyć i gra - o tyle utwory są zorganizowane trochę inaczej. Otóż utwory można ładować za pomocą ageMusicPlayer. Ten to również obiekt pozwala wybrać i zacząć odtwarzanie losowego utworu załadowanego do listy lub też odtwarzanie utworu o konkretnym numerze. Opcjonalnie można także ustawić losowanie następnego (innego niż przed chwilą grał) utworku. W ten sposób otrzymujemy coś na kształt MP3 player'a ^^

Klasy od dźwięku wymagają jeszcze drobnych usprawnień i kosmetycznych zmian, ale już potrafią zrobić trochę hałasu :)

To właściwie tyle z rzeczy które ostatnio robiłem. Teraz powinienem dopracować menedżer zasobów oraz odtwarzanie dźwięku, a później... to się jeszcze zobaczy ^^

Programy i skrypty na sprzedaż

Tak sobie myślałem , że może najwyższy czas pozbyć się swoich aplikacji. Na większość z nich już nie mam czasu i sprzętu. Akurat wpływ na pierwszy czynnik mają moje studia i zbliżająca się praca inżynierska, to na drugi ma wpływ mój "wydajny" komp, gdyż dysponuje starym rzęchem , który ma dość poważny problem z odpaleniem samemu systemu (Windows Server 2003 PL) i każda aplikacja typu Gadu-Gadu stanowi już dla niego niezłe wyzwanie, to tym bardziej Turbo Explorer Delphi totalnie go uśmierci :-P

I w związku z tym nie tworze już nic, nie aktualizuje , nie poprawiam itp. Głównie mowa o moim jedynym tak licznie ściąganym sofcie a mianowicie PassTool'u . Miałem kilka pomysłów co do tego projektu, no ale ... życie :-)

Wiadomo , kasa się przyda . Na klikaniu w reklamy Google AdSense ,przy zwykłej domowej stronce , raczej nie da sie zarobić . Myślałem ze chociaż z punktów partnerskich nazwy.pl , utrzymam domeny , ale to też bezskuteczne wyświetlanie bannerów .

Trza to sprzedać póki coś (?) warte . W końcu to jedyna polska aplikacja do odzyskiwania danych. Po za tym na stronce jest kilka myślę że ciekawych skryptów , zarówno na mass.uk.to , jak i na passtool.pl i md5search.org . I tak za ok. 6 miechów skończą sie domeny ,więc trzeba będzie to zamknąć.

Szczególnie myśl o sprzedaży powróciła na nowo po ofercie od jednej z osób. Jednak raczej mało wiarygodnej i nie słynącej ze zbyt dobrej opinii :-) Natomiast mi zależy na poważnej transakcji .

Cóż, innego pomysłu na zarobek w sieci to nie mam ... a trudno na siłę szukać reklamodawcy jeśli moje dzienne odwiedziny wynoszą maks. 1000 unikalnych wejść, ale jeśli ktoś jest zainteresowany reklamą u mnie to było by miło :-)

I takież to ciężkie życie studenta....

Z radością muszę stwierdzić, że ukończyłem budowę podstawowej struktury bazy danych. Wszystko byłoby super, gdyby nie problem połączenia MySQL z ASP.NETem.

Dzisiaj się tym pobawię, a jutro jak wszystko pójdzie po mojej myśli pierwsza wersja Leksyka trafi do sieci. Adres oczywiście umieszczę tutaj. :)

Google Maps API - początki

Z powodów zawodowych musiałem zainteresować się API Google Maps. Najpierw należy się zarejestrować na stronie Google Maps, aby uzyskać swój własny klucz, przypisany do konkretnej witryny/domeny. Po zapoznaniu się z podstawami API uznałem, że jest ono bardzo przyjemne i przyjazne. Już po zarejestrowaniu, otrzymujemy od Google przykładowy kod. Poniżej zamieszczam nieco zmodyfikowany, dodałem jeden znacznik na tej mapce.

W przygotowanej do tego skryptu w Javascript stronie, należy odpowiednio zmodyfikować znacznik BODY:

Jak widać na pierwszym listingu, obiekt, w którym będzie mapa w dokumencie HTML, musi mieć ID o wartości "map". Ustawienie współrzędnych środka mapy jest obowiązkowe - inaczej dostaniemy błąd. Ostatnim argumentem w metodzie setCenter jest zoom, który przyjmuje wartości od 1 do 20 ( 20 to maksymalne przybliżenie ). Należy zwrócić uwagę, że nie każdy obszar ma mapę o danym przybliżeniu. O atrybutach, przekazywanych do obiektu GMarker napiszę więcej w jednym z kolejnych wpisów.

AGE

Niestety nie było mnie stać na wymyślenie jakiegoś ciekawego tytułu notki więc niestety jest jaki jest... Ale nie tytuł jest najważniejszy! Zebraliśmy się tutaj, aby dowiedzieć się czegoś na temat tego co dzieje się z AGE.

Na początek - postanowiłem wreszcie porzucić zestaw GEdit+Makefile na rzecz środowiska Code::Blocks. Na początku w GEdicie było fajnie, ale niestety w miarę jak rozrastał się projekt przestał mi wystarczać taki zestaw ^^

Drugą, równie ważną, sprawą, jest to, że sprawdziłem wczoraj wieczorem (ok - w nocy) czy AGE skompiluje się pod Windowsem. Bałem się, że nie będzie to należało do przyjemnych doświadczeń. Jak się okazało - nie taki diabeł straszny jak go malują :) Najwięcej czasu zajęło mi ściąganie bibliotek SDL oraz Code::Blocks pod windowsa ;) Potem stworzyłem projekt, dodałem pliki z kodem źródłowym i włączyłem kompilację. Wyrzucił kilka warning'ów odnośnie porównywania signed-unsigned, i jeden błąd.

Okazało, się że w użyłem w jednym miejscu nazwy jaka istniała już jako definicja preprocesora w windows.h. Na szczęście poprawienie tego stanu rzeczy nie zajęło więcej niż minutę. Ponowna próba kompilacji i.... udało się :) AGE skompilowało się na Windows z drobnymi poprawkami!

Okazuje się, że decyzja o użyciu SDL+OpenGL była całkiem dobra - przynajmniej względem przenośności kodu. Osiągnąłem całkiem zadowalające efekty dość niskim kosztem.

Ech.. uruchomienie tego samego kodu i zobaczenie go w akcji w 2 systemach sprawia ogromną radochę ;) Polecam wszystkim wypróbowanie ^^

Raport z pola bitwy: AGE

Ostatnio niewiele miewam czasu na programowanie dla siebie więc i postęp prac jest raczej marny. Główna zmiana jaka nastąpiła to pozbycie się GLUT na rzecz SDL do spółki z OpenGL. Postanowiłem wykorzystać jednak SDL ze względu na to, że mam więcej dane z urzędu bez straty wieloplatformowości.

Druga rzecz, o której wypadałoby napisać to dodanie (w końcu) wczytywania tekstur oraz renderowania ich jako obrazków na ekranie. Jak widać na załączonym obrazku (^^) działa ona całkiem dobrze.

W kwestii wydajności - to jest jeszcze do poprawy :) W tej chwili przy rozdzielczości 640x480 renderowanie 500 takich kwadracików spowalnia AGE do ~45 FPS. Nie jest źle, ale sądzę, że może być lepiej - to wymaga głębszej analizy tego co się dzieje podczas rysowania ;)

Następnym moim krokiem będzie dodanie większej ilości obsługiwanych formatów plików. Aktualnie działa tylko BMP, a to nie jest szczyt marzeń ;) Nie wiem jeszcze czym powinienem zająć się dalej - menedżer zasobów czy obsługa dźwięku? Skłaniam się w stronę dźwięku, ale to głównie dlatego, że menedżer zasobów to poważna sprawa, a aktualnie nie chce mi się specjalnie nad tym myśleć :P

Jaką decyzje podjąłem dowiecie się w następnym odcinku... :)

Trzeba sie pochwalić :-P otóż w drugim wydaniu dwumiesięcznika Xploit ukazał sie mój artykuł pt. "Kradzież haseł i omijanie typowych zabezpieczeń systemowych". Tematyką zajmowałem się i opisywałem na łamach mojego site'u jak i kilku for sporo miesięcy temu, jednakże teraz zebrałem to do kupy , na ofertę otrzymaną od redaktora tegoż magazynu . Artykuł początkowo miał być umieszczony w numerze 1 , jednakże wówczas nie spełniał "standardów" , nom i czasu też nie było wówczas za wiele :-(

Szkoda że przykłady wklejone w artykule są ciut kiepsko sformatowane... nom ale grunt że są :-)

Namierzyłem powody moich problemów z Babelem

W generowanych jararch babel zamienia znaki \ na \\, ' na ", / na \/. Dodatkowo edytor tłumaczeń udostępniony na stronie projektu zamienia znak nowej linii na <br /> co zupełnie rozwala tłumaczenie :(

Zgłosiłem już wszystko gdzie trzeba i czekam na naprawę :)

Eclipse Babel - nie jest tak różowo

Przyjrzałem się dokładniej polskiemu tłumaczeniu projektu Eclipse i okazało się, że nie jest tak różowo jak myślałem.

Po zainstalowaniu najnowszej wersji, na pierwszy rzut oka, bez problemów działała już edycja plików plugin.xml. Jednak:

Zakładka 'Zależności' jest pusta.

W wielu miejscach pojawiają się nadal znaki \n zamiast nowej linii.

Przy edycji plików .product pojawiały się w tłumaczeniu znaki \.

Ostatni problem postanowiłem zgłębić. Okazało się, że tłumaczenie niezbyt odpowiada tekstowi angielskiemu. Poprawiłem je, zaciągnąłem nową wersję tłumaczeń i... edycja plików .product wykrzacza się z błędem: "Nie można utworzyć tej części ze względu na błąd wewnętrzny. Przyczyna niepowodzenia: {0}
Argument not valid".

Nie pozostało mi nic innego niż otworzyć ponownie mój zgłoszony wcześniej błąd i czekać na jego rozwiązanie.

BTW wygląda na to, że w projekcie tym istnieje spora ilość tłumaczeń, które nie odpowiadają tłumaczonym tekstom. Kto to teraz przejrzy i zweryfikuje?

Red Streets Editor - postępy

Dawno nie pisałem nic o głównym projekcie w któym uczestnicze. Szczerze to nie wiem w jakim stopniu zaawansowania aktualnie jest sama gra ale w grywalne minidemo już miałem okazję zagrać jakieś dwa miesiące temu. Ja do edytora dorobiłem kilka przydatnych opcji, między innymi:

- podświetlanie modelu
- obramowanie wybranego modelu boundingbox-em
- wstępna obsługa warstw
- zlikwidowane kilka bugów

Podłoże będzie składało się z trzech warstw
- pierwsza - czyli ulice, chodniki i tego typu elementy
- druga - czyli półprzezroczyste dodatki w stylu dziury w jezdni, zakratowane wejścia do studzienek ściekowych etc.
- trzecia - pozostałe elementy czyli drzewa i cała reszta

Warstwy ułożone będą następująco:
- trzecia (będzie nieco "wyżej" niż pozostałe, przysłania modele i inne warstwy)
- modele
- druga
- pierwsza

Po skończeniu zabaw z przesuwaniem obiektów (które i tak jest do poprawy :/) w planie mam obsługa dodawania nowych elementów na mapę a potem zacznę kombinować z formatem i zapisem/odczytem mapek.

Chyba mogę już powiedzieć, że jestem bliżej końca niż początku :) Bo tak wogóle to marzy mi się totalny refaktoring kodu ale z moim lenistwem...
